I enjoyed the morning glory most of all and my company. The strawberries were fresh and the sausage patty was well seasoned.

Worst First Watch experience! I've visited several First Watch locations and this is by far the worst one. From the wait time to the hosts to the servers. We were quoted a 30-50 minute wait time which we understand given it was the Saturday before Father's Day but the hosts didn't do a good job of seating people as tables cleared up. When we were finally seated, our server took nearly 10 minutes to greet us and when she did she said she would be back in 5 minutes. That made no sense given she didn't have anything on her tray. She could have at least taken our drink orders. I guess another server could sense our frustration so he came and asked if he could place our orders. We really appreciated this and were able to order our drinks and food. Our original server never came back to check on us or say a word. As far as the food goes, I got the shrimp & grits which was a huge portion and pretty flavorful. I also appreciated that they substituted the andouille sausage for chicken sausage since I don't eat pork. My one issue is that the onions were not cut up. There were huge ringlets in it. My dad got the market hash which he enjoyed but it's pretty hard to get wrong. For drinks, the mint iced coffee was delicious but there was more ice than actual drink. They should tone down the ice so people get more of what they're paying for. I did the pomegranate sunrise which was much sweeter than I thought it would be. In terms of the actual restaurant, it's one of the smaller First Watch locations and it doesn't have a bar. There are a ton of large booths for large parties but they were seating parties of 2 at some of them. Overall, I don't plan to visit this location again.

Always a true winner at everything they do and they do it very well! The Holiday Menu features some items that relish in Cheesecake, Cinnamon, Lavender and Cane Sugar. The customer service is top notch and depending on location and time of day, you are never going to want for much, meaning I needed some syrup and as soon as I look up there it was. Warm and thick.

We stopped in for a quick bite. I ordered the Club and the way it was worded I was led to believe the bacon was turkey bacon versus pork bacon....not. Explained the situation and a new sandwich was quickly brought to the table. I was impressed, the server left the original sandwich on the table...so I knew the sandwich was freshly made. The service was excellent t and the ambiance was low key Sunday family oriented.

Went here before going to the movies and loved their fall menu. Got the pumpkin spiced pancakes, chicken sausage, eggs and the sunrise drink with alcohol in it that my friend and I could split. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

Took a chance in going there after listening to folks say it was just all right, but my experience one morning was pretty good the food was good and my waitress was good. I had no complaints and I will go back.

Not our first time at First Watch, but first time here at the Bowie location. No one likes a wait but it was suitable enough. Took about an hour for a table but service was quick and good. Food was great. Pancakes are always a great size. I think I am a strong eggs critic but the eggs were okay. Ambiance was cool. Lost my shades! :( Overall, First Watch always is good food with family feels. 8/10 Food-8/10 Service- 8/10 Ambiance- 10/10

This is a really nice, clean, local coffee with really bubbly personalities working the registers and making our coffees. Pretty good variety. There's coffee and non-coffee options. Unfortunately for me, they ran out out of chai by the time I ordered. In terms of food, there are sweet and savory baked goods. For croissants, I saw the ham and cheese; chocolate filled croissants, bagels, and other sweet and savory pastries. Later in the day, there appear to be more meal options, like sandwiches and such. - Quality. My matcha latte was pretty good. I asked for no sweetener, so the flavor of the latte was the simple matcha flavor, which I really liked. They warmed up my croissant, which helped, because it was soft. The croissant was not too salty and it had a nice flavor. - Service. Their staff appear to be on top of things. They're very nice and answered my questions. I did not wait very long for my order and it looked like everyone's order was handled smoothly and efficiently. - Price. The ham and cheese croissant was approximately $6 and my 20oz matcha latte was approximately $6. The balance came out to approximately $13. For the quality and portion size, it's pretty good value for money. - Layout. Very accommodating. There are a few bar stools at a counter near the front of the shop, several tables that seat 4 people, and a couple of couches towards the back with a coffee table in between. There is also a child size table with a couple of child size seats at the back, as well. This place appears to be popular, so be aware of the time you come here if you plan on dining in. Originally, I was hoping to snag the couches for myself and my group, but those were already taken by the time I arrived. Their bathroom accommodates physical handicaps and is a very good size. Everything inside was clean and organized. - Location. Conveniently located in a plaza with other shops and restaurants. Good size parking lot for the plaza. What's Not - No non-dairy options. I asked if my matcha latte could be made with soy milk, and their staffer responded that they only have 1% milk or whole milk. It's a little frustrating that there aren't non-dairy options, but to each their own. Just be aware. - Quality. My ham and cheese croissant was good, but it did not have as much cheese as I was hoping. I like my baked goods to have a good amount of filling. Their ham and cheese croissant was somewhat lacking. Good flavor, but not filling, so be aware. Final Answer Am willing to come back, but perhaps not a first choice.

When I arrived they asked if we had a reservation and we didn't so they asked us to hold. I was worried we wouldn't get in but was very happy they found space for us. I must say everyone we encountered were very friendly (a tad slow at times but made up for it with friendliness). Their signature sweet tea is to die for - the mint infused delight was so great it was worth a second glass! The milk and honey latte was a hot cinnamon joy as well. I ate the smothered chicken and biscuits. It has a slightly spicy Cajun sauce, I got to pick the style of eggs and I opted for scrambled. Good choice! The biscuits (2) were soft and the chicken and eggs paired with them well. The chicken was a bit tougher to cut so they should offer people a steak knife or something sharper than a butter knife to cut it. But that is a mild complaint because the dish was delish. I also tried the berry French toast. It was super thick and, while it was a bit light on berries, the flavor was good and so was the syrup. One of the two slices tasted a bit on the greasy side but I still ate quite a bit of it. I finished the meal off with a fabulous sweet potato bread pudding. I love bread pudding and this was my first sweet potato variation to the dessert. Me likey....me likey a lot! This is my new favorite bread pudding, hands down!

The service is great! Fast and friendly. Instead of bread or rolls, they warm you up with some country style homemade cornbread. Freshly baked, cast iron skillet, with butter and syrup. Yum! We had the meatloaf and the chicken and chicken and biscuits. The meatloaf was tasty, with homemade mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked fresh green beans. The chicken and biscuits is kind of like a chicken pot pie without the crust. The biscuits are on top so you can decide how much bread you want. The vegetables are nice and fresh, and the chicken is perfect white meat. A++ on both entrees. For dessert we had half-baked, which is an ooey gooey cookie and a brownie in a cast iron skillet topped with ice cream. We liked it, but next time I'll probably have just ice cream because the ice cream was absolutely perfect. Where are you? Stevensville? Baltimore? Solomon's? Alexandria? DC?
