The Nautilus delivers exactly what you expect from a classic diner. It is straightforward, unpretentious, and consistent. If you want scrambled eggs, toast, and sausage, you can count on getting exactly that, prepared the way it should be. The staff is generally friendly, though you may occasionally encounter someone having a rough moment. The atmosphere has that familiar retro feel, and the space is reasonably clean. It is a diner, and the appeal comes from the food and the setting rather than fine details. If you find yourself in Crofton, Maryland, stop in for breakfast. It is recommended if you are in the area.

Service was fast and courteous. Running late and decided to try their breakfast menu. Ordered the Western omelet with home fries and a side order of bacon. I could not finish the home fries. Omelet was delicious and the coffee was fresh brewed. I will definitely be going back. Next time I think I'll try the sausage and eggs. Very clean inside and outside.

Excellent staff, great portions, fresh food! We went there for lunch and we were able to have a great meal in an hour. We had lunchtime fish & chips (two big pieces with sauce and fries), Mediterranean chicken crustini, and kids chicken fingers and fries. Update: came back the next day and had breakfast for lunch. I enjoyed my omelette - the portions are huge for breakfast foods too. It was pretty heavy on cheese.

Nautilus is a reliable choice for a quick meal any time of the day, open until 11 PM. I usually visit with a group of at least six people, and they consistently take good care of us and our orders. The food isn't gourmet, but it is enjoyable. Their menu is extensive, and occasionally I venture beyond my usual choices. So far, this has paid off, especially when I tried the open-faced roast beef with gravy--it was a delicious, messy, experience! My only complaint is about the lack of seasoning at times. We ordered flaky, well-sized grilled fish, but it lacked any seasoning. Really? The wings were well-prepared, but they could use more sauce. On the positive side, the fries are always cooked to perfection.

My husband and I have been to the Nautilus several times over the years. I have just never reviewed it. Yesterday, we went for breakfast. We were seated quickly and our waiter came over shortly thereafter to offer us a drink. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and I ordered a double stack of pancakes with chocolate chips. My husband said that the chicken was fine. He was pleased with the crispiness, but said it could have used a little more seasoning. He is a bit of a chicken and waffles connoisseur. My pancakes were good. They came out very hot and, in addition to having chocolate chips mixed in the pancake batter, it was a healthy helping of them on the top. I probably could have done without that extra portion, because they did melt quickly and made the pancakes even more sweet than usual chocolate chip pancakes. However, the pancakes were good. I would just ask that they not put the extra helping on the top next time I order. When you go to a diner like this, you are going for the convenience and for the very vast menu. If you're looking for a gourmet experience, you will probably be disappointed However, for a convenient meal with a friendly staff, you can definitely count on the Nautilus.

OMG! The best Diner going. The food is so delicious and the service is amazing. Highly recommend you par-take in the meals, plus the portions are hugh with plenty of leftovers.

This place is also a good option for any meal. It's like an upscale diner. They have a huge menu, the service is fast and pleasant. It can get crowded and there will probably be a wait on the weekends. They have a bar area if you want to be seated quicker you can seat yourself. I've never had anything bad at this place. The portions are huge so inquire about portion sizes before ordering. Some things can be shared.

I would consider this a hidden gem. The place is very large and spacious in the inside perfect for group or solo dining . The service is great and the food is good . Breakfast for 2 along with cocktails was perfectly priced . No complaints

This diner has become my go to spot since I've moved closer to the Crofton location. The staff is always on point and the food delicious. There's not a bad dish on the menu. I've had breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner here over the years. A cozy neighborhood diner that has plenty of seats. Prior to Covid, the hours were late night. I wish they'd go back to those hours because there are times when a pork chop would hit the spot.

Had the Tuna salad and chicken salad. Large servings, had to take half of each home. Not crowded for a Thursday evening. Servers are always nice, food always good. Clean restrooms and good parking too. I really like the deserts, almost always take a cookie home.

I had been pushing to go here for a while because I thought diners always had some of the best pancakes. My wife kept pushing back because she didn't want to change her breakfast spot, but she finally relented and we made our way to Nautilus. The food was fine, I was a little disappointed by the pancakes, and the portions were kinda small based on the price points. Their desserts looked great and I'm sure you can get some good meals here, but it was a pretty average experience and we'll be sticking with our normal breakfast spot.

Hubby brought us here for breakfast after I dragged him out for a hair consultation and we were starving. We have one near us, but not all locations are the same. This place seem a little outdated with decor and appeal. I ordered the egg's benedict which came with a side of fried potatoes and hubby ordered an omelet which came with fried potatoes as a side of toast. Food for me was just so-so. Nothing to brag about. I think the went overboard with the hollandaise sauce, I could barely finish my meal. Here is the negative- the bathroom. Both me and husband both compared notes in how disgusting the bathroom was. Now I know I get the Lysol toilet cleaner that has a good bleach cleaning agent that get rid of the disgusting mold around the inside the toilet. The toilet looks like it has not had a deep clean in God's knows when. The toilet paper was not fully stocked for the breakfast/ lunch crowd. I had just enough to use. Our server does get a 5 stars for his attentiveness and impeccable service. Check-out was a little slow, and could use more than one cashier for checkout.

So we drove a good 30mins to get here, with anticipation from seeing this restaurant on a travel channel, but the original location is in NY. We get there, and its plenty of free parking. We ask for seating for 3 and we are told they are only seating individuals who booked a reservation. Totally understandable considering its Valentine's day. I dropped the ball folks. I didn't make a reservation. So I noticed a bar lounge which we were told we could wait for a seat to open up. As we were waiting a coupled jumped in front us and took a seat. The manager Claudia came to the rescue like the dark knight but with more grace. She mentioned she was willing to put us on the list for a table in the main dining area. I accepted her kind gesture and continued to wait for bar lounge seating to open up. A couple was kind enough to come over to us and ask if we were waiting for bar lounge seating. They offered their table to us as they were ending their night. There was a 2 man band playing in the lounge area that was very soothing to the ear. As I tried to help my mother get comfortable at the hightop table, I noticed she was having a difficult time getting seated in such a high chair. Guess who came to the rescue, you guessed, Claudia! She's the best, 100 grand, made me a real fan. So she came over and said our table was ready if we wanted a booth seating and we all know that's the best seats in the house. All I could think is look at God. The wait wasn't even long either. 10 out of 10 for saving the day. In addition our waitress was such a sweetheart. I mentioned a white malbec I saw on the menu that I was astonish to see b/c I never knew of such a thing. She bought me a small glass to taste and my God, I am a true believer Jesus turned water into wine. Its so clear like water but the taste is amazing. The food is so delicious. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very personalable. Everyone cartered to us. You would have thought we were the Obamas or something. As we were stuffing our faces, Claudia comes around handing out roses to the men/boys to give to their dates. Complimenting my son and his daper outfit she hands him a rose and tells him to give it your mommy. At the moment he lights up with a big smile as if he paid for the rose himself. I can tell he felt like a gentleman and good that he could give his mother a red rose on Valentine's day. That small gesture was very thoughtful and appreciated. I apologize for my essay, but they desired it. I love the service, the ambiance, the food, and service. I haven't seen my mother smile so much in a while. So it bought me great joy to give my mother this experience on Valentine's day. I thank Nonna Angela's staff for such a wonderful experience.

The two pianist did no dueling at all; they did mostly duets or took turns taking requests. I was hoping to witness a musical battle. In addition the food was horrid. I looked at my surroundings and everyone pretty much ordered sandwiches and fries of which they left ample amounts of food untouched. As for the drinks the holiday margarita was mostly ice, very thin small glass and there was no edible glitter in it as promised per the menu. No beers on draft.
