We were told the wait would be 15-20 minutes. After 45 minutes, there was still 10 parties ahead of us. Which would be fine except that the entire 45 minutes we waited, there were 5-6 empty tables that the hostess never filled. We saw several people ask about these tables, and the hostess just responded with, "we'll call your name when we're ready." We left. I kept the app open after we left, and had we waited, the total wait would've been 1 hour 40 minutes. read more

My husband, kiddo, and I had a chance Labor Day weekend to give First Watch one more go. The last 2 times we have had not so great experiences. You can see my other review previously. I don't know why or how, but when we go to any restaurant it seems that we get sat at the same exact table that we have been at prior, which is pretty weird, well Lo' and Behold! We get sat in same section and table, as the first time we visited this location (didn't write a review for that experience, being that they just opened) And we had the same server. I looked at her and she looked at me ,and I could tell she remembered us. I'm sure her thought was " Oh great, here we go again!" I hate being one of "those" tables, lol! First, let me give a shout out to our server, Cindi! She was great, got our beverage orders out right away, gave us the carafe of water right away, too. She was on top of everything, throughout our meal. So, this review has nothing to do with her service. DH ordered the Chorizo Omelette. I, being a glutton for punishment, ordered the same exact item from the menu that I had the last time, when we had a bad experience. The little one got the kids breakfast half waffle w/ fruit and bacon. Our food comes out, I look at Cindi and she looks at me , we know things are not going to go well, as she sets my plate down, she says, " So, I could tell your eggs were not cooked over easy, so I had the kitchen remake them, they will be out shortly, but here is the rest of your food." I ordered the Biscuits w/ Turkey Gravy and potatoes. Everyone started to eat, I looked at my food and could immediately tell it was lukewarm at best, I touched the plate and it wasn't remotely hot. I cut into a biscuit..no steam.. nothing! I don't know if its this particular menu item or what! Cindi comes back..she looks at me...I look at her.. . We know..we both know.... ‍ I say, "Yeah, so this is not hot." Cindi says, " Oh know, I knew it, ok, I'm going to take it and we will remake it." I see her walking back and she gets the manager's attention. He is at our table immediately. He is friendly and apologizes and takes my meal off the final bill and the food comes out to me, hot this time, maybe 10 minutes later. The potatoes were burnt and the gravy, a tasteless wall paper paste. Also, It's just a bummer that they didn't get it right the first time , as it would have been nice to have eaten with my family I don't think we will be back, we tried.. we really did. read more

Wow! I am so excited that First Watch is onboard with the beet craze! I absolutely love beets, and when I saw the new seasonal menu, I couldn't wait to try the Beet Toast. It's a piece of their to die for artisan bread topped with beet hummus (yep!), avocado slices, arugula, pickled onion, and diced beets dressed in lemon balsamic vinaigrette. It's also served with basted eggs on the plate, but I asked for scrambled - which they gladly did for me. Service is top notch here, every time I've visited. Smiling, happy employees make the meal taste extra good! I highly recommend this place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. read more

Personally I've never been to this place but it is one of the best breakfast places i have been to. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable for how much food you receive. Had there 2 for 2. It was supposed to be a sandwich, salad, and soup. I came in as this was my first timer. Server andrew was very helpful. I ordered my meal from the cashier. I didnt get a hello from here nor he wasnt even talkative. Felt like I was talking to a wall. I waited 17 mins for my sandwich, salad, and soup. Tipped andrew since he was so nice to me. I checked my meal and it was missing soup. I told the cashier I ordered it from he said sorry and he didnt know I wanted it. Maybe if he was talkative and asked he would know what their customers want. Dont just assume. Kind of mad but i got over it. Ate the salad and sandwich it wasnt the best it was just a plain salad and sandwich to me. No flavors no nothing.. i wasnt impressed. Well wont be back this place is nothing exciting to see. This place was honestly AMAZING! Visiting AZ from Chicago for a few days, and we went to First Watch 3 days in a row (once with a party of 10). Every time the servers were extremely attentive and the food came out really fast, even when we had the big party. The menu options were great, and loved the healthy choices! So- I am 8 months pregnant with twins and was craving some truly tasty and unique brunch options to try out through DoorDash. I saw positive feedback for First Response, and having never been there before, decided to try them out. Boy was I happy I did! Generally, I am not an egg or an breakfast person... but I tried the elevated egg sandwich and it blew my mind. The combo of flavors were creamy with refreshing notes of citrus and peppery arugula to balance it out. Loved the brioche bun and crispy salty bacon...and the sandwich really stayed together for me, likely because of that delicious gruyere binder! I will definitely be back...and absolutely recommend that you try this place out. You won't be disappointed. read more
