Been here a few times. They recommend downloading an app or using the website to reserve your seat as it's no wait. Weather you walk in or give them your number there is a wait. It's the same time frame of a wait except they gather your information and harass you if you choose to use the app or website as they have your information. It's typically crowded. Service is extremely slow. Go before you get hungry as by the time you eat you will have waited so long you developed an appetite. They need to hire more people asap. They have several locations that operate differently. The food is okay it depends on what you order. They use to serve alcohol, but the menu changed. Good luck! read more

Stopped in for impromptu Friyay breakfast! Waitress and hostess staff very pleasant and attentive. Wide menu variety but the food and flavors are just not impressive. Ordered; Traditional Breakfast with toast, potatoes, bacon, and scrambled cheese eggs. The toast was stale, bacon was a cheap thin salty burnt tasting grade. Im a bacon girl and never leave a slice of bacon behind but left remaining 3 slices on the plate! Meal was supposed to come with 2 eggs, clearly was one egg scrambled with a ton of cheese dumped on top. Potatoes were over seasoned. Also ordered The Works omelette which was good. Accompanied toast again was stale. Ordered Blueberry pancake as additional sweet treat. Not so much a treat. Bland flavor mild fluff and blueberry syrup not bursting with blueberry flavor. I should have read the reviews before I visited. I've always had great experiences at First Watch in reference to the food however this location has some logistical issues that have not been fixed for at least a year. I went back and read reviews that mirror my exact experience. I joined the waitlist at 10:36 and was told that I could expect to be seated between 11:30-11:56. I checked into the location physically at 1110. I was told there were four groups ahead of me. After watching them sit the sixth group I asked about my spot. The host stated that I'm waiting for a two person table and the others weren't. I was seated at 12:27. When I showed him the status of my party via the yelp app he responded and said he didn't know what that was. I suggest the location pick one app and stick to It. We traveled from Columbia since we had some Shopping to do hit what a waste of a morning. read more

First - we are fans of the First Watch chain. The healthy options go a long way in winning us over. But - this location is struggling. Service wasn't what is could have been. Our server forgot drinks we ordered (orange juice, iced tea, and a kale tonic) then the food wasn't prepared the way we asked for it. We had to ask a couple times to get the juice to come out. Food also took longer than normal to come out. Then when it came out items were missing (toast, avacodo spread,etc). The food was brought by a different server who could tell the bowls apart - we deciphered which was which on our own..... Once it was on the table the food itself was fine (over looking the prep issues). So, while I verbally recommend First Watch locations, there are several other breakfast spots nearby and I'd suggest trying one of those while this one works out the kinks. read more

You can go to their website, enter the number in your party and join the wait list. It'll even tell you how long the wait is befoe you join the list. Today we timed it just right and as soon as we walked in they said they could seat us right away. #Winning! There were def a lot of angry people behind us because as usual the wait was a little long. Yea this location will be a no for me. I was leaving Lifetime as I do daily, wanted something light for me and my husband. It was 1:30pm they close in an hour, I walked in and ordered to go. It seemed busy so I went back to my car and came back 20 minutes later. I stood inside for another 25 minutes, and nobody assured me my order was on the way or even checked. Then I asked the person who took my ordered and she said it was coming out. Another 5 minutes my order came out. I should of checked my bag but I'm thinking a chickichanga and quinoa power bowl shouldn't be hard to do. So I pull off and my husband looks in the bag and sees a power wrap and his chickichanga. So now I'm even more frustrated. My husband enjoyed his food, but the wrap is not what I ordered. Apparently it's a popular place, my son met a few hornet players there but this just isn't the experience I was expecting. 50 minutes for a small to go order just doesn't seem realistic to me. The hostesses need additional coaching on greeting and acknowledging customers. I wasn't greeted when I entered the restaurant. I was the only guest waiting to be seated. Menus had fallen across the floor in front of the stand, in which I stepped slightly to the side to allow the Host to collect and stow away. However, she sat on the floor and took her time. Meanwhile, another Host came over, ignored me, carried on a conversation with another staff member, and then stepped away. The first Host put away the menus. I moved to the front of the stand. However, she then proceeded to take another customer's ticket that just approached the register. The second Host returned, turned away, looked around for a bit, AND then finally asked if I've been helped already. Came in to eat breakfast since I haven't eat dinner the night before. First of all, I'm guessing onions was not peeled properly since I had to take a number of onion skin from my mouth. 2nd. The potatoes in the breakfast potato was still raw especially the bigger chunks. I could only eat the smaller size potatoes. I like the toast. I just with they had white bread. I see they are currently not rated very well... I can understand that based on my experience this morning. I met a friend for his Birthday breakfast and ordered a simple egg breakfast (over-medium) with one extra egg. I always clarify "their" definition of over- medium because I like the yolks soft and the whites hard. The first batch came out with the whites runny so i asked them to redo them. The waitress made a noise like i was being too fussy but she went to get more eggs. It took a while to get the new eggs (now the toast is cold) and in the meantime I ate the other part of my breakfast. The next batch of eggs came out hard as a rock. At this point i told the waitress i was out of time and unfortunately couldn't wait until another batch of eggs came out. Again, much attitude about me being unhappy with my eggs. She sent out the kitchen manager and he said next time i am in he will make sure the eggs are done right. I got the bill and the whole meal was on it including the eggs. I asked her if I could have the eggs removed and her response to me was basically that she couldn't separate the eggs from the bill... "too bad". Ppl came in groups wanting booths or singular tables while we didn't care if we sat on the communal, long, high table so we didn't hv to wait at all really but space was tight. She never brought any while we hv this huge container to drink? Don't feel like bothering our neighbors again. They might want to use their stash, too. But, for a $30.05 breakfast for two, I thought it too pricey for the servings were stark; the pork chop very salty n not "tasty"; the ONE pumpkin pancake void of specialty zing/tang; badly washed utensils; and, table condiments needing a wipe down. Having had an international hotel career, in the F&B and Marketing sector, what we are charged for should reflect the level we deserve, don't you agree? They underestimated the restaurant space as well since it could not accompany all those customers corralled at the front reception for 1 1/2 hours. It really shouldn't be like that. There is honestly just too much going on here. The star rating is for the people and the service, not the food. I actually enjoyed the food. The staff is way to busy, understaffed and just not really into quality customer care. It was a really busy day, ok. But there needed to be more staff to support that. We waited a long time to order, get food, get food correct, and still waited after that for remakes. Even the check took forever to come out. The beet toast was really good. Too bad I won't wait in this mess of a line again just to be underserved. They need to get it together!! read more

I usually LOVE First Watch. It's one of my favorite places to eat. My and a friend sit down, order our food and everything is fine. When our food gets there - my bacon is burnt, my eggs are perfect, my potatoes taste awful and also burnt and my toast was meh. Our server never came back to check on us and when he finally did and we let him know it wasn't all that great he simply said - 'oh sorry about that' walked away and came back with our checks. Bummed and still starving we headed to the counter to pay where we were asked again how our breakfast was - we told him as well, just okay - we complained but nothing was done nor was their care involved. The kiddo running the register on Friday morning also said "sorry about that" and swiped our cards. Not a, is there anything else we can get you since you're already spending $20 breakfast" or "can we grab you something to take with you" Nothing. We went to eat breakfast at this place with my colleagues during a business trip. This place was close to where we actually stayed in the Providence area of Charlotte. Definitely a posh and expensive place. The restaurant ambience is great and staff wore mask. You are not required to wear mask when you enter in. They have a variety of vegetarian options. I am not sure if they have vegan options. The staff was good. They have outdoor seating available. Not sure if they do carry out. Their pancakes tasted great. Definitely recommend this place. Prices are slightly on the high end considering the area but taste is great. This place is family friendly and kids friendly. read more

The server was not attentive and caring at all. I realized the service is as important as the taste of food as I was losing my appetite for the bad service. Vanilla chai latte pancakes was seasonal and it was so so. The banana in the pancake was a little hard. Chile chorizo omelet was mediocre. Chikichanga was the best among three. This was a new place that came up on my radar around my Christmas visit to NC. My folks took me here after I arrived in on a red eye. Parking was fair if you come around the time they open for breakfast. We had to wait a minute before someone came to seat us, but they cleared off a table right away and placed by a window. The fellow who seated us also took our order - believe his name was Martin? He had good recommendations on the menu and was in good spirits. Very animated but a good waiter. I ordered the avocado toast and a hot tea. I've never had a runny egg before, but it worked well with the avocado. They serve the eggs on the side and I would cut off some egg to place on top of each bite of avocado. They were very generous with the avocado and I had to use a fork and knife to eat it. Speed was good. I think our food took 12 minutes or so. There were some other dishes on the menu that looked interesting that I would try again in the future. read more

This is my husbands favorite brunch spot. The lemon ricotta pancakes are a guaranteed hit, and here's a tip... we were told the chicken sausage is made per order, while the other breakfast meats are pre prepped and warmed up. It's a good option for the kids too, the coloring menu is actually very fun my husband and I have had plenty of competitions on them. Very disappointing breakfast. The waitress was excellent but the food was sub par. Spent $27 and change with tip for a breakfast with cold stale toast and undercooked hard potatoes. The scrambled eggs had plobs of whites in them. They were not beaten enough. The sausage and the coffee were both excellent.
