Visiting my sister and BIL we usually end up at this First Watch. This place is ALWAYS packed. Today was no different. Calling ahead we reserved a table for 4. We are always ofdered a booth or table, we choose booth, comfortable for our tall hubby's. We were welcomed with a Good Morning and after just a short wait we were seated. Our waitress chatted about the the drink specials of the day and food offerings. Sis and I ordered our usual Bloody Mary's. Served with just enough ice, spice and Titos. We chomped on the Million dollar bacon first. Our orders were taken appetizers came out first, shortly after our hot entrées. My brisket tacos were full of flavor filled by fresh cut fruit. Chunks of cantaloupe, honey dew pineapples and blueberries. Light flavorful and filling. My family enjoyed their basic breakfast also. This First watch is my favorite.

We were greeted immediately and added to a 20 minute wait list. We were called within 15 minutes. Our server came over within 5 minutes of us after we looked at the menu. Drinks and million dollar bacon was ordered in which we thought we would get our bacon before our meal. Needless to say, the bacon came out with our meal. The Tangerine dream tasted as expected. The million dollar bacon was not crispy but was full of flavor. Our omelets were full of bacon, ham, tomatoes, crispy onions, and cold mushrooms. We had to add salt and pepper to our omelets for better tasting. The server assumed I did not want my potatoes, so I asked her for them. Alina was our server and she was not as attentive as I would've liked. We did notice her attentiveness to 3 other tables. The atmosphere is not too noisy and the seating is comfortable. We tried it and needless to say we will not be returning because of lack of flavor.

The pickup for this location continues to disappoint & it stems from the kitchen..the last couple times i've ordered a meal they either missed an item, or added an item that has gone bad. I constantly get bad old avocado on my meals ending up scraping it off before I can enjoy my meal.

    Ham and Gruyère breakfasts and.

Online ordering was delayed. 20 ish minutes late. It wasn't easy to get info while standing there waiting. My sand below poorly made. Potatoes some done some very raw ish. My 7 dollar bacon wasn't fully cooked. Very very busy. So clearly popular. Lots of staff seemed not to know what to do. Saw three different servers take three different items at different times to same table. For 40 bucks at least I have a fully prepared sandwich. Fully cooked bacon and potatoes. So damn disappointed!!!!

always a pleasure eating at First Watch. This was my first time at this location. They have a huge parking lot so easy access with parking. I had the Iced coffee and french toast keeping it light. Their french toast is made with love on brioche bread slightly toasted with the perfect crisp. The iced coffee tasted like it had rum in it lol(no i did not get tipsy) I forgot the exact name for it but it had chocolate chunks and chocolate syrup with a caramel twist . I enjoyed every bit.

Depending on the special items on their menu, depends on how good the food is to me. The staff is always friendly and when they have shrimp and grits on the menu, that's my go to. They were even able to do the shrimp and grits for me without the sausage and without the chicken gravy, which I was very happy about. The drink that I got was the lavender lemonade and it was delicious. They do have a few alcoholic beverages that you can choose from. It's a great place for a family outing, a date or even if you're going by yourself!

We tried placing an online order and on the app. It would take it and says that ASAP was not available. When I tried pick up it said it would not take the payment. I called and asked if there was a problem with the App and put on hold. Then I waited for almost 10 minutes then called back. The manager was nice and said it would have to go to corporate. He took an order over the phone. When I arrived there was a girl in a stool that didn't engage. I still had to pay and my food was sitting there. I finally got her attention. My waffle was well overdone and the bacon omelette was burnt. The bacon in it was burnt and hard as a rock. I usually love this restaurant but today it was disgusting.

Ordered tri-fecta for spouse and eggs Benedict BLT for me. The tri-fecta is two eggs with Belgian waffle or pancake. Spouse got the pancake with blueberries, And bacon. The drink I had was delicious. Spouse got large orange juice . This breakfast was delicious. The bacon was super yummy. And the eggs on the Benedict was both perfectly prepared. I have had eggs Benedict at other places where one egg is overcooked here they were both perfectly cooked. I asked for the potatoes with the eggs. The potatoes were perfect. I did have to take some home

The restaurant was nice and clean, always a lot of people but that says how popular this restaurant is and it is a good choice for brunch. The parking is a little difficult though. They juice every day, so the juices are fresh. The food is lovely and fresh also. Highly recommend and this is the third location I've been to.

Arrived with no wait. Service was just okay. I think she may have been overwhelmed a little. We had to keep flagging down drink refills and we had to borrow the neighbors syrup since we didn't get one. Thankfully it was still warm. We enjoyed our breakfast with the exception of the cornbread. That was a miss. To highlight the whole experience another family blessed our family and paid for our entire meal. So cool! So we paid it forward and left a nice tip to the server! We'll be back! Check them out.

A real winner! If you're ever traveling through Petersburg this is the spot! Although we waited over 40 minutes for a table, the experience was well worth it. We started off with a turmeric carrot orange coconut water smoothie and his bloody Mary top with $1 million bacon slice. I I enjoyed the pumpkin pancake chicken sausage breakfast which was awesome! My husband had the basic breakfast but it was truly out of this world it included a whole-grain toast and hearty bacon, excellent! We'll be back!

The house is rich in history making it quite a special place for my husband and I to celebrate a momentous occasion. A drawback was how uncomfortable the seats were. My husband and I are like Vikings, very tall and stocky, so the seats felt too small. The average person will probably have no problem with them. My hubs ordered the seafood platter and was delighted in how delicious it was. I ordered the Black and Bleu Beef Tips with the filet and requested it be cooked medium rare. Unfortunately, it was mostly overcooked and tough. I expected the mushroom sauce to be more substantial and the bleu cheese to be enough to be tasted. I was very disappointed at what was a sprinkling of mushrooms on top and no distinct bleu cheese flavor at all. The twice baked potato was yummy, but I could not eat the asparagus as I found it bitter and undercooked. It made me regret paying the price it cost as I could not even enjoy half the portion. Service was good and yet not. We were served by three different people, including the manager who seemed to give most of her attention to one particular table. When she removed our plates without offering dessert, coffee, or tea it felt we were being hurried along. One older gentleman was very attentive. He made sure we were taken care of and satisfied. I wish I knew his name as I would love to give him all the stars. He was superb and comped us dessert in honor of our special occasion. We chose the tiramisu, and it was very tasty, perfect crispy top with the creamy underside. I do recommend this restaurant as an experience one should seek to enjoy. I believe you will love the historicity of the location, and the service will be a fine dining event. Your food may be hit or miss, depending on what you order, but I think the location itself is worth the risk.

If I could I would have given it 4 1/2 stars, because it was good but not great but definitely well enough not to drop it to a 4. Let's start with the location: very nice and everything seems real clean and cared for. Even the men's room was decent at 6:00 pm at night. Now our server: Sidney was very attentive to us. She took very good care of us during our stay. Now the meal: Again it was good. The wifey had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. She tells me the sauce had a nice flavor but the chicken really had no flavor. Certainly not a Blackened flavor you would expect. The chicken itself was good and tender. As for me I had Shrimp and Grits. It also was good. It had onions and peppers in it and again the flavor of the onions and peppers just want there. Who knows. We also had the Brick Oven Brie. There was a really nice amount of Brie. So much that the toasted bread ran out way before the Brie. So as I said this was a good place and meal despite my small hits in this review. I firmly recommend this place because I do expect you to have a nice meal. Ps. To the owners: your link to your website doesn't work via Yelp. To potential customers: you will have to go your search engine and find the Charred site.

We had our pick of high-tops or traditional seating and chose a booth (the superior choice IMO). The ambiance and atmosphere felt modern and classic with a touch of ostentatious flair (the bird mural and columns up front were gorgeous). I prefer a curated menu and Fall Line keeps it simple. There are options for most people here. We ordered the skillet cornbread to start. C'est magnifique. We ordered from the sharables menu: the barrata, grilled cauliflower, and burnt ends. The barrata was the clear winner, followed by the cornbread. The burnt ends tasted fantastic, yet were too fatty to enjoy fully. Some constructive feedback: The cauliflower was a major disappointment; it needed additional time on the grill and more sauce to boot. I felt the barrata should have included one extra pair of crustinis. The apricot mostarda was divine, though. They don't carry a sour beer, so my partner and I did not partake. All in all, Fall Line Kitchen was a lovely experience, and our server Satya was a pleasure as well. As we exited, the kind host offered to take our picture in front of the light-wrapped columns. What a gentleman. I definitely recommend bringing a date here to enjoy the cozy, intimate setting, as you gaze lovingly into one anothers eyes, take in the exceptional views, and experience all that its surroundings offer.

It can get a little pricy, especially when you want to try all of the things, but the portions were plentiful and tasted delicious. We started with the cheese stick roulette, where they apparently prep a bunch of different cheeses for cheese sticks earlier in the week, and then just randomly grab six to deep fry when you order it. You have no idea what it is, they have no idea what it is. Pretty fun and delicious and we love cheese, so total win. We ended up cutting them in half just to check what they were before eating because the kids do not like anything remotely spicy and pepper jack is one of the cheeses, so we just had to verify it wasn't that so they could eat it and hubs and I ate those ones instead. I thought the tomato coulis it was served with was stellar, and the fruity jam was also amazing. I could not decide which one was better for dipping the cheesesticks in, and I ended up keeping both condiments when the cheesesticks were gone so I could dip my fries in them. A fantastic choice, they were both great with the fries. Which I might add, are AWESOME! They are scoopable fries. So... like a cross between potato skins and potato wedges. They were both crispy and soft and very unique and so worth the trip. They also use the cheese dip instead of just shredded cheese, so it stays creamy and gooey. All of the burgers sounded awesome and it took us a very long time to decide what we wanted (I had been looking at the menu days in advance to make sure I could decide) and we opted for the Southern Gentleman (pimento cheese, hot honey and fried chicken) and the PBJ and I can't decide which one I liked more. They were both completely different and completely delicious. If I had to make a recommendation... I'd say bring a friend, order one of each and split them like hubs and I did. Choices are for suckers. Kiddos opted for the cheese fries that he came for (which come with bacon, btw) and the kiddos cheeseburger meal, and they both loved them. The service was great too, even when this place was pretty darn crowded on a weekday lunch hour. Also, don't be fooled by the storefront driving by, this restaurant is waaaaaaaay bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside. There was plenty of seating. The music was a touch too loud, but they also had some yummy sounding specialty drinks, as well as a bunch of local beers. Upon initial bite, it really tasted like a really well constructed burger. It was a double patty burger with white cheese. You don't really taste the jam. As you're chewing, the peanut butter comes out and it really makes the bite more creamy and definitely tastes of peanut butter. Overall, I would recommend fat boys for sure.
