The restaurant was VERY crowded but the food was definitely worth it!! I ordered the pressed juice named morning meditation(Yummy!!) The service was not was not very friendly or hospitable and it felt like we were an inconvenience to them.

I went on a Sunday morning @10AM and was able to get a table for 4 within 10 mins, wow! We also got our food pretty fast. The service was good, we tried most of the juices and they were all sweet and fresh! The million dollar bacon is so flavorful. I got the omelette with chile verde, chorizo, avocado and onions with the million dollar potatoes on the side. I appreciate the side of toast and jam it came with too! I would definitely come again.

Love the design and wall decor. Food was great and service was kinda slow. Food came out hot tho! There was a hair on the plate but I didn't say anything about it just cleaned it off. I was curious if they wear any kind of hairnets. Just be careful before you start eating! Overall very good food

Avocado Toast and Purple haze. Avocado was very fresh and tasty. The purple haze was delicious, rich and not too sweet.

So I am a First Watch fan. I love their coffee the ambience is just so rustic and their food is delicious. The only reason why I'm giving it four stars is because one particular item that I ordered seemed a little off compared to the menu. Maybe they changed the dish itself but since everyone there was so new, I didn't want to bother to ask. I'm excited to have it in my neighborhood. Welcome First Watch, may Waterside bless you with much business and stay amazing

The appetizers were outstanding. From the chips and queso to the wings, and especially the crab rangoon mozzarella sticks (a must-try), everything was excellent. Based on that start, we expected the entrees to be just as impressive. For half of our table, they were. Unfortunately, my son's steak was poorly seasoned and cooked to the wrong temperature. He chose not to send it back because we had already experienced significant delays. I, for example, waited far too long for my steak salad to arrive. When it finally did, it was missing nearly every ingredient except the lettuce, steak, and a single sliced cherry tomato. By the time the kitchen was remaking my salad, the rest of my family was already halfway through their meals. Our waitress continued checking on us and seemed genuinely concerned, but the issue clearly wasn't being prioritized in the kitchen. After my husband asked to speak with a manager, my salad arrived within five more minutes. The manager approached with a lengthy series of apologies but didn't really give us an opportunity to explain the situation. The most frustrating part? The salad was still missing two ingredients. When I pointed that out, he initially pushed back, insisting it wasn't possible because the chef had personally prepared it. At that point, my family had finished eating, so I packed the salad to go. Was the salad worth the wait? Surprisingly, yes. Once it was finally assembled correctly, it was very good. What still puzzles me is that the dish requiring the least amount of cooking at our table was the one that took the longest to prepare correctly. Would I return or recommend it to others? Yes, but with reservations. The food has a lot of potential, and the appetizers alone are worth trying. However, the kitchen's execution and the manager's handling of the situation left plenty of room for improvement.

Went for the biscuits, but our very wise waitress, Adriana, warned us that the biscuits were made with lard. Well that knocked out a bunch or breakfast options. She was so sweet and actually went to the kitchen and marked the menu pointing out lard-free menu choices. On the menu. Using black ink dots. Above and beyond. So we regrouped our breakfast plans and went mainly vegetarian. The Herbivore was absolutely delicious! Antebellum cheese grits topped with garlicky kale, romanesco and a soft boiled egg. We added a second egg. Split with my hubby. So good!! My sister-in-law had the brioche French toast. French toast topped with honey better, fresh berries and pecan granola. Served with maple syrup. Amazing! Added the duck fat breakfast potatoes. Who knew that the flavor would be so enhanced with the onions, peppers and duck fat. Get this side! Not a coffee drinker, but my hubby really enjoyed the coffee that is sourced from Cusco, Peru. Adriana made sure that the cups were always full and hot. Thank you for the VIP service at Fixe Southern House. Resident discount applied. Born from Opelousas, Louisiana, breakfast served with a huge helping of southern hospitality. We started with the biscuits and cinnamon roll. I would recommend both. The biscuits came with a jam, honey and whipped butter. The cinnamon roll, which may look a bit underwhelming had a such a great crispy texture on the outside while still being fluffy on the inside. The icing wasn't too sweet and complimented the roll nicely. For the table, we had the pollo frito biscuit w/duck fat potatoes, Brisket Benedict w/okra and the Fixe Breakfast entree w/maple sausage and potatoes. The pollo Frito was delicious, the chicken was seasoned well and maintained crunch even within the biscuit. Duck fat potatoes were also good but were even better after adding some salt. The brisket benny was okay, the texture of the brisket was very odd and didn't really hold up to the egg. Although the okra had a great flavor the batter was a bit too thick which made it chewy. The Fixe breakfast was great and the maple sausage was perfect. Our waitress was Adriana, she was great and very helpful. Overall we would definitely come back and look forward to trying dinner one night.
