Our waiter Brodie brought our water and then we didn't see him for 20 minutes. We finally had to stop a random waiter that walked by to ask him if our waiter could come by to take our order. Our coffee was obviously cold by then. Thankfully the random waiter offered to go ahead and take our order. Our order was brought by yet another random waitress. I ordered the chickichanga, which was just ok (I would not order it again). Eventually our waiter Brodie came back again just to check on us and then we never saw him again. Visiting from out of town. Great meal...fresh and much healthier than a typical diner for breakfast foods. Lots of unique spins on classic dishes. The kids pancake could have served 3 small children! Would give 3 1/2 if possible. Rounded up due to enthusiasm of two hosts in front. Interesting and at times positively unusual menu. 1-2 items (bacon today) typically come out at room temp and service just ok. Waitresses seems to consistently miss 1-2 items when bringing food. Usually basic stuff - today it was dressing for salad. Appreciate that they are trying to provide new breakfast options but this is one of the higher priced breakfast spots and they still appear to be working out the kinks. read more

I am a big fan of First Watch. I am usually very hesitant when it comes to chain restaurants, but this one is great. They have wonderful breakfast items with healthy options galore. I personally always order the trifecta so I can get one of their banana granola pancakes (so good). Their coffee is pretty on point as well. On Saturdays, they tend to get a bit busy so you may want to get there early. read more

What a great find for breakfast! I read that brunch is crowded but weekday breakfast was great. Menu has tons of variety - their bacon is to die for - they have gluten free bread for toast! Fun place for breakfast - interesting menu and great food quality. Lots of families and the atmosphere lends itself to kids running around and general chaos. Service is what caused me to rate 3 rather than 4 stars. The people who serve your food don't seem to know where it goes so they wander up to a table to see if someone recognizes what's on the plate. I just loved this place! From the modern, clean decor to the hip, fresh menu, it's just what Frisco needs. I got a frittata, made sure only goat cheese (dairy allergy) and it was so good! It's been a week since I posted this review. Rebecca from Customer Service reached out stating that they take these reviews very seriously and that the Regional Manager would be giving my wife and I a call. We have not heard a word from anyone which is equally as frustrating as the horrible experience we had. I would not support this restaurant in any way. I have warned all of my neighbors my surrounding communities on the NextDoor app of our experience to ensure they are not treated this way. I give this 1 star because there's nothing lower. The egg was not cooked properly , the biscuit was without a doubt the worst biscuit I've ever had in my life. The biscuit was cold and mashed flat and had a horrible texture. The home fries were barely cooked and cold. The other two people that were with me got something different but they did not have any better results with their food. The manager never came around to ask how the food was or to check on us. The only saving grace is that Amy was an excellent server. She did a great job in keeping our drinks replenished and was very friendly. However, we eat out several times a week as a group and we will not be coming back here for sure. read more

We went for Saturday morning brunch. There was a bit of a wait but not to bad. The food was good. I had the trifecta. The bacon and eggs were just as good as most brunch places but the Belgian waffle was light, fluffy, and fantastic. I was told how amazing this place is but I'm not totally convinced of the hype. Came to the area for the egg and I to find it's now called first watch..we decide to stay and check it out. The interior has a nice rustic feel. We walk into a a crowded foyer with about 8 people waiting to check out, two waiting to be seated and no employees to handle this function. We were seated once they got the area sorted out. I think their theme is a little healthier but who eats mixed greens with eggs? We waited 25 minutes for our food. We ordered a side of biscuits and gravy and it was served room temperature. Completely disturbing that anything with meat and dairy in it is sitting around at room temperature. Another 7 minutes and they brought us a warm version of the dish. The food was good, the preserves were what I liked best, by far. Our waitress was just ok. I'm not sure if she wasn't knowledgeable or was just dismissing us. On multiple occasions she quickly told us the complete opposite. We were there for 20 minutes before she brought water. Like, your food is almost up and there are two biscuits in the biscuits and gravy (there is only one). Other reviews talk about portions. I thought portions were fair if not still on the large side. It was more than enough for me. I don't know. Not eager to go back but sit down breakfast joints aren't really all over the Frisco area. We'll see. read more

It was our first of many visits to come. Inviting, relaxed & slow paced atmosphere. Go when you're not in a hurry. Just reading the menu should make you hungry. It was hard to choose! We got coffee & the lightly sweet morning meditation & much sweeter purple haze juices. The juices were really good. We ordered the bacado omelette & skillet hash-parma. The omelette had fresh avocado & bacon inside. The eggs were perfectly cooked, light & fresh & came with a fresh pile of baby greens with lemon juice & I got the home style potatoes with onions, yum! The skillet had tasty italian sausage, home style potatoes & sweet sun dried tomatos with again, perfectly cooked over easy eggs & came with fresh fruit. Both came with thick multi grain buttered toast & house made fruit spread. The staff was very nice & helpful. I would give 5 stars if they offered sweetner other than raw sugar & stevia so bring your own if you prefer blue or yellow packets. The presentation of the food is the best thing, after that it all went down hill. The Huevos Rancheros were tasty but very difficult to eat (I have had these other places and made them before so I have and idea that its a some what of a messy dish) BUT GEESE the egg was all over the place! Needed 3 napkins to keep up! The so called carrot cake pancake consisted of a regular pancake with very lil shaved carrots did not taste like anything special. Service was bad I ask for a fruit cup before the meal (for my prego daughter) never got it. Had to call waiter over for napkins n syrup. We walk into this new place waiting to eat breakfast and while we were waiting to be seated, the white man in the front hasn't greeted us and has already taken care of 2 different white customers. Service was great. Jeremy was very attentive. The food was beyond what we expected. The avocado toast was tangy and on point. And if you love Mexican food you need to try chickichanga. The healthy choices here are overwhelming. I love to eat fresh and my boyfriend prefers IHOP or Dennys but we both we satisfied with our plates. Because this is a healthy option as far as breakfast spots go, I expected it to be expensive. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back. read more

I am so happy that Frisco finally has a casual, hip, cafe! This place took over the old (dated) egg and I. They completely remodeled the interior and it has such a cool vibe now. This is going to be the newest hot spot! The food is so fresh, colorful and delicious! A friend and I stopped in for lunch after seeing a group of people standing outside buzzing about how great their experience had just been at First Watch. We were planning on doing Mooya but SO glad we stumbled across First Watch. I had the chicken salad melt and my Friend tried the turkey burger. WOW - the food is AMAZING!!! Everyone had these bright green and orange colored drinks which were fresh power juices. They looked very refreshing, I will definitely be back to try the juices. There really wasn't a wait, about 3 minutes We sat down ordered our drinks and took about 6 minutes to review the menu and order our food. It had been 35 mint and our food still was not out. WE had to question our waiiter twice and tell her to check OUR food. She came back and stated it would be a few mOre minutes.after 45! Minutes oUr food never showed up.
