I visited this location twice now and they never disappoint. And the two times that I visited I have gotten the shrimp and grits and the chickichanga. Both dishes are very delicious and very flavorful. Both times I got the watermelon wake up and it is very refreshing and delicious. My mother has stuck with traditional dishes, like the French toast and the traditional breakfast. My sister joined us one time and got the frittata rustica. I had the Wild Alaskan Salmon Benedict which I enjoyed due to nice flavor of the salmon. The small issue was it was served on sourdough sandwich roll bottoms, with the thick bottom from the baking pan, and a bit stale. I get it that integrating the kitchen ingredients is smart, but not for this plate. The floor plan is economy class also, a lot of small tables & booths. Hopefully your neighbors aren't too loud, or obnoxious. There is a side room partition of small traditional tables. 1 small banquet table is right behind the host desk. Parking is a little cramped in front, better chance parking behind and a short stroll around the north edge of First Watch. The menu has decent variety, and healthy choices. I've been going to this location for years specifically for their Farmer Breakfast tacos and potatoes. My son and I went there For breakfast on 4/18. From the very first bite my son and I both knew something had changed with both the tacos and potatoes. They went from being a 10 to 5 at best. I spoke with the waitress who had served us many times over the years. She stated the owners had chosen to go with lower quality ingredients to save money. I can get avg tacos anywhere. Love love looove this franchise. Ive been to the Frisco, off preston, location and the McKinney on custer and eldorado location and both are exceptional. Same great service and same exquisite food. Everything I've had hasn't disappoint and I always leave happy and full!! Flavorful coffee, amazing mimosas, tasty waffles and pancakes. And the maple bacon is the bomb! So good. The atmosphere, is above average and the restaurant is clean. I was a little disappointed in the service at this particular First Watch. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. It was a very busy Saturday morning and so obviously we were not expecting quick service, but the server seemed very put out and unfriendly. So that did make the experience a little unpleasant. I will say that the manager was excellent. He came over to our table (not by request) a couple of times to see if we needed anything and I saw him doing the same with other customers. I love having breakfast/brunch with my friends and I am always looking for new places to try. It's funny that I never tried First Watch here in Frisco. Their seatings are interesting. They actually have small tables to accommodate guests who come on their own to enjoy a breakfast meal (small tables with just two chairs). They have a great selection of healthy, hearty, and sweet breakfast options. For all patrons out there with food/dietary restrictions this is a great place to come. Our server was so sweet to offer and brought us our drink while we were choosing our breakfast options. I ordered their power breakfast quinoa bowl. I liked what I read on their ingredient list. But the very first bite I took from my bowl made me realize that it was too salty for me. The chicken was seasoned way too salty and even though the quinoa and greens should have balanced it out. I needed to drink lots of water. I am very honest here, I prefer my food to be on the less salty side. So other people might actually like it but usually, when I order a quinoa bowl at other breakfast restaurants, it is way more well-balanced and seasoned. Went for the first time since my friend had gotten a coupon for a buy one get one entree. Our waitress was very nice and brought a pot of coffee to the table right away. I asked for water as well and she brought a carafe. They have the fake creamers on the table for coffee but if you ask they will bring you a small portion of real creamers in a ketchup holder. They don't have a small pitcher for it. We both ordered the trifecta - I had scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and a pancake. My friend had the same thing but substituted biscuits and gravy for the bacon. The food came out about 10 minutes or so after we ordered and everything was cold. We also weren't brought syrup, which was the only warm thing besides the coffee, and we had to ask for it. We both ate the cold pancakes as we were hungry and when we had finished those, the waitress asked if everything was ok. We told her the food was cold and she asked if she could remake everything. My friend is always afraid people are going to spit in the food when they is asked so we said no and she asked for a container to take the biscuits and gravy home to reheat. The waitress went and talked to the manager and she comped on meal, which we would have anyway with the coupon. At checkout, we told the person there and he went to speak to the manager. Very disappointed at the service. Ordered omelette plate and asked server to add one pancake to my order. They brought the omelette to me and I asked about the pancake. The family wanted brunch after church so I looked on Yelp for a good place nearby. This came up with a great menu for everyone so we decided to drop in. It was around 1pm and the place was busy, but the hostess said we would be seated within 25 minutes and indeed we were. Everyone there was extremely friendly. Even after our server had come by to take our drink order, because we didn't have any food or drinks at our table, two other servers stopped by to ask if we needed anything. The server provided us excellent recommendations and was very patient with us. We brought our two daughters, 12 and 8, who are both extremely picky. The 8 yr-old ordered grilled cheese, but didn't like the type of cheese it came with and our server was amazingly understanding about it and gave her something else to eat. My husband ordered to chorizo omelet which he really enjoyed and I had the eggs benedict with fruit on the side. The girls both enjoyed their hot chocolate. I wish I could remember our server's name because she was extremely impressive and I would love to give her a shout out here, but I did let her manager know that she made the experience wonderful. I'm shocked they have 4 stars on Yelp. I may have come on a reeeeally bad day but I will never go back to see if that were the case. My bacon was extremely burnt. I can't even believe they served it to me. It almost seemed as if they were being funny, that's how burnt it was. Like there's no way they were serious. But yup, they were. I ordered 3 scrambled eggs but it looked as tho there were only 1 on my plate. I ordered a side of avocado mashed. It was maybe 1 tablespoon at best. I ordered hot green tea that was brown and taste like "nothing". I also ordered French toast that was stone cold. The butter on top would not even melt. My husband could barely get through the bread with a fork. He said it was not right and didn't take another bite of it. It looked like stale bread.
