Traveled 2 hours to enjoy brunch with our son and 2 friends. Chose First Watch because the reviews were so great. Boy! Were we disappointed! We were seated shortly after 10am and ordered by 10:15. At 11:25, one friend had to leave for work without having received his meal! We had asked our waitress about our meals at about 11 - she said she was sorry for the delay but they were coming. But when we told her he would have to leave by 11:30 at the latest, she didn't say anything. When the rest of the meals finally came around 11:35, potatoes were barely warm, toast was missing, wrong syrup was served. Meanwhile, we had watched probably 50+ bagged meals go out for delivery. Came in on a Friday morning around 10am as I was passing through town. I typically try to find non-commercial places to eat and this looked to be the place! I had intended to place an order to go, but the server convinced me to dine in. The establishment was clean and well kept, and service was very quick. Once I placed my order, I had my meal within five minutes. The "chickichanga" I ordered was very tasty. Overall I would definitely recommend and will return if I'm in the area again! read more

If you want to wait FOREVER for mediocre food this is the spot. Took almost an hour to be sat (party of 2) and then our server was less than attentive. We saw her when we ordered, when she dropped our food, and when we needed to ask for the check. The food is excellent but the service is simply crap. We've been in three or four times now and it just seems their priorities are not the customer. It's really unfortunate because there food is good. They need a GREAT front of the house manager or someone who understands customer service. The waitresses are nice and efficient but I don't know if it's a scheduling problem or what? The table next to us got up and left as they had not received any attention for ten minutes. And the place isn't slammed, maybe half the tables are full so maybe 20 tables and five servers. If a restaurant can't run with that then there are some issues. Like I said, it's a priority issue. The servers are more concerned with setting tables than seating or serving customers. It's really frustrating as the food is so good. We have not been to another First Watch, so don't know if it's bad corporate policies or just bad management. Hoping they get it solved. But won't give it a try again for a while. Today was my first time trying First Watch. I have made it a habit, to do breakfast/brunch as much as I can either on my week days off or on the weekends. I always google and find spots that spark my interest based off of their menu, so that I give my overall review. All reviews get posted on my social media :) Anyway, as soon as I parked my car and without letting my window down, I could smell the sweet fragrance of food. Once I walked into the restaurant, the hostess was very kind. She greeted me with a smile and upon me telling her it was my first time eating at this restaurant-she welcomed me and made recommendations from their limited holiday menu. (Today was the last day before a new menu comes onboard tomorrow) Thanks honey! (Sorry I can't remember any names right now-lol). I also had an amazing server who was so sweet, sincere and kind. She also welcomed me as a first time customer and added to the delightful menu recommendations. When I was torn between what I wanted to drink (Kale or Morning Meditation), she brought me small samples of each and let me decide from there. I chose the cinnamon chocolate chip pancake, scrambled eggs, bacon and Morning Meditation as my drink. She also made sure I was good and I loved the fact that through small conversation, we both loved waffles and french toast with powdered sugar. (Hey! It's the little things for me that allows me to give 2 thumbs up for impeccable customer service and being in tune/showing interest in your customers is one of them!) Talk about an amazing choice of deliciousness! Everything was good and filling. My pancake was HUGE but the overall plate portion was perfect. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, in particular, this location to anyone. From the impeccable customer service and amazing food to the relaxing decor and total laid back/cafe style that feels like home.....you definitely won't be disappointed! We searched for a new place to try and stumbled across First Watch. It was fantastic! I ordered the farmhouse skillet hash and was blown away. All of the flavors go so well with each other. Husband got the trifecta and loved it. Daughter ordered the kids chocolate chip pancakes...tasted a little dry but she enjoyed them. Our favorite item by far was the multigrain toast and strawberry jelly. We usually don't eat toast but ate every last bite. So good! We will definitely be returning very soon. read more

Fantastic food and great service! The restaurant was very clean and neat, and I love the crab mural on the wall. We had the Million Dollar Bacon, and it was phenomenal! Great food, terrible service. I went 3 or 4 times a month because I love their food, everything I've gotten from there is great. However, you WILL wait far past the pick up time for your order. I stopped going for a while and decided to come today because....ya know...the food. Anyway, it's now 15 minutes PAST the pick up time which was established 20 minutes from ordering. So it's taken twice as long so far. Does no good to ask they just say it's not ready yet without checking. Really pathetic and a shame. I won't be back until the strength of my next craving outweighs the complete waste of my time. If owned the place I'd be upset. read more

Excellent, fast service with an online "call ahead," to reduce wait times and congregating. Social distancing is strongly enforced (waiting outdoors or in car) and the restaurant appeared very clean.
