So I am a reg at this restaurant so today I decided to get it delivered through Door dash. Along with my $50 meal, I ordered an Iced coffee. Well once I got the order, I looked at the bag and it was marked off "no beverage" I asked the driver (nice lady) and she said over and over again that she asked was it a drink and was told no. So I called first watch and they first said "oh the driver didn't grab it" I explained that they had marked the bag as not having a beverage. she said "well you can just come and get it" huh?? I got it delivered for a reason, then she finally says" well we can just refund you, thank you and hung up". Idk if people forgot how customer service works over the past 2 years with COVID or if employers are just hiring bodies because its common sense to check a receipt for a drink or if you do make a mistake(cause they happen) then to be totally transparent(not blaming the driver and apologetic and this young lady was not. I came here for the first time with my children and mother in law last week. We were greeted and promptly seated in the back near other tables that were full. We sat there and waited for someone to come greet our table for 20 minutes. Every single server in the restaurant walked by our table and no one ever stopped. I don't know if we were seated in a section without a server or the server was confused, but no one ever came to our table, which was so strange because every table around us was full. I went back up to the host/greeter and asked if there had been a mistake about where he seated us because no one had come to our table. He apologized and instead of getting someone to serve us, he did it himself. It took him a while to get our order together and put into the kitchen, but I appreciate him doing this for us since it was clear no one else was going to serve us. I like their menu options some are a little pricey, I assume because their menu items are healthy. I've been here twice. Both times the wait was very very long. I normally try not to complain about wait times because that means my food is coming out hot and ready. Today just leaving there they said they were backed up I left out and came back in and the food was ready. I'm back home and I bite into my eggs and French toast and it's cold! I'm thinking my food had to been already ready because how do I have to come home and heat my food up. I live 5mins away btw. That's so upsetting. Downloaded this app and made an account just because of how bad this place is. Worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. We put our names in online, showed up, and still waited for 30 minutes to be seated when all the table needed was to be wiped down. Proceeded to wait an hour and two minutes for our food to come out. They apologized to us 7 times, explaining that a $600 take out order had been placed and was screwing everything up. Never going back read more

Had an awesome experience in St. Louis at a First Watch so I was super excited to see it here in Maryland. We used the "get in Line" feature on the app however it seemed that those that just came in got seated right after us. Not sure how helpful it was. Seemed many table needed to be bused. We were pleased with our food. I had the special, the vanilla chai pancakes and my husband the chickichanga. Our water glasses were dirty and it took a long time to get them replaced and to even get a carafe of water. Our server was nice but a bit inattentive. Overall, it was good. This location and their staff were just wonderful. Everyone went out of their way for us. This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. The restaurant is bright with lots of windows. The waitstaff were extremely friendly and wanted to please. There was a large selection of items on the menu, especially geared to healthy eating. We had the BLT Benedict and an omelet. Both were very tasty. The meals came with a salad. If you want the potatoes you need to request them or you get the salad by default. The large juices really are very large! Looking forward to our next visit! read more

We have been here many times. The service is terrible and the kitchen is slow. Today 2 of us had meals and one person had to wait 10 minutes while we ate and then it came out wrong. I ordered the eggs benedict. one of the two eggs was underdone and broken. the real crime is the hollandaise sauce. it was watery, thin, and flavorless. I told the waiter i wasn't satisfied with the meal when i paid. he asked what specifically was wrong. I told him. He said that hollandaise sauce is brought in ready made, not made fresh on the premises. I was shocked. what kind of restaurant can't whisk together egg yolks and softened butter to make a hollandaise sauce? Makes wonder if the pancake mixes and other products are being shipped in already mixed and prepped to just be heated up on the grill. Had high hopes, but left disappointed after two trips of fairly bland food. The second trip was worse than the first. My daughter and I ordered an appetizer and an entree each. Our appetizer and her entree came out together. My entree followed a few minutes later. I ordered eggs Benedict, and the eggs were cooked all the way through. I alerted the waitress who removed the dish and offered to have it remade. While waiting, I munched on what was left of my daughter's potatoes. Another server came by and picked up the plate (putting her thumb in the potatoes) while asking "You done with this?" Ummm, I am now! She was very apologetic, we all make mistakes so I get it. But I was over it. She brought back a fresh order of potatoes, which I declined. I received my fresh order of Eggs Benedict a few minutes later, and could taste the resentment of the cook in the *almost* raw eggs. It was busy and seemed as if the servers had too many tables to tend to. I didn't need much as i asked for everything upfront. The food took a long time to come out and came out lukewarm. I went to First Watch with my company of about 50 people at 10am on a Thursday and we were all impressed with how well the staff handled our large group. Our servers were attentive and the kitchen got all our dishes out super quick given how busy it was. Jon the GM took time to make sure everything was great and it was! Their fresh squeezed OJ actually tasted fresh squeezed, their coffee was smooth, the million dollar bacon was melt in your mouth delicious and the carnitas breakfast burrito was fantastic and hearty. Will definitely be back, as there so many other items that looled so good and made it really hard to decide what to order. read more

Visited this location Saturday around 10 checked on line showed no wait got there and was a 30 minute wait . No problem we gave our number and went to Lowes to shop while waiting . Never got a call back or text saying we were ready walked back over and got our table . We waited 20 minutes before a server even came to us and the one that did wasn't even ours . The 2 others that we got didn't know who's table it actually was never did get their names .I know it was busy , but it got worse for us . Waited another 20min for drinks both servers brought drinks at this point. 10 min later food came ( Food was the best part all was very delicious) . We never had any server come back to see if the food was good if we needed anything. Not even to check on refills . I had to actually stand up to get a check that's when they came back . So at this point I was beyond annoyed with this place . Hubby and I said it's a shame service was so horrible because we would probably make this a regular spot to eat . We had a great breakfast at First Watch this morning! I'm so excited to have another good breakfast option nearby besides Denny's. I ordered the Farmhouse hash, which had tomatoes, onions, bacon, potatoes, with over easy eggs on top....Yum, it was so good! My bf had the chickichanga, which was like a breakfast chimichanga with chicken. We loved both dishes. Also love that we get a full pot of coffee on the table. Overall, a great experience. I've been anxious to try this place out since browsing through the menu when I stopped by ( didn't dine in then). Nice bright airy place which makes you feel comfortable. Monday morning was a good time or so I thought since most people were working. After about 10 mins the waitress came to my table and took my order. She was friendly and came back promptly with my tea. Had to ask for water. The power wrap was delicious! I really couldn't eat the second 1/2 so I just opened it up and ate the contents. This wrap came with a side of fresh fruit. They didn't skimp on that either! Now for the service.. I saw my server briefly after I received my food then no more after that. After waiting for over 10 minutes with my finished meal sitting in front of me and there were 2 waitresses who didn't acknowledge or ask to remove the dishes. I went to the restroom and when i came out they were gone. However I think they thought I had left too! My waitress apologized stating that this wasn't her area. Now let me start this by saying I very much enjoyed the food, and I do recommend going here if you want a good breakfast. The negativity in this review is hoped to help the restaurant flow better, not to push people away. I came here with my dad today for breakfast around 11:30 and there was a 20 minute wait that turned into 40 because a miscommunication with the host lead them to think our party of 2 was for 22. Once we did get seated we sat for close to 25 minutes until we asked someone to get our server for us. I overheard two other servers talking about changing sections mid shift so that I assumed was the cause for delay. Once our server, Kaitlyn (sp?) got to us though things went smoothly. She was kind and good humored, as well as properly attentive. Her service and the food made up for the logistics errors definitely, but we still ended up an hour and change behind schedule. Hopefully this helps with ironing out the kinks in opening the place and I hope ya'll do well, I'll be back definitely. read more
