It just wasn't good. Avocado toast with raw eggs was gross. No flavor to anything. Maybe I just made the wrong choice.

Absolutely excellent! My only complaint is that they aren't open past 3, because I'm totally a breakfast for dinner kind of gal, but I can totally forgive them because it's still delicious. We just moved here so I'm not sure if this is an all-the-time menu item or a Covid era menu item, but they have a yummy breakfast for 2 that comes with scrambled eggs, bacon, the best breakfast potatoes I may have eaten in my life, fresh fruit and thiccccckkkk slices of this, I think it's multigrain, toast, that is to die for! I added cheese grits because I'm a southern girl and a sucker for some good grits, and some turkey sausage links for my carnivore husband! This may actually be the first time in my life I've eaten scrambled eggs without salt... Like not because they added it, but because they were so good on their own I didn't need to?! Everything tasted so fresh, there was a thick layer of cheese on top of the cheese grits (I'm also a sucker for cheese), and the bacon and sausage was cooked perfectly! I also don't mind eating antibiotic vs. no antibiotic foods or GMOs and stuff like that personally, but you should know they only use cage free eggs, and chicken raised without antibiotics, as well as fresh squeezed all natural juices, and they use Project Sunrise coffee which from their page supports female coffee growers?! Dined at the WEST 86th location (Trader's Point) and the KEYSTONE AT CROSSING LOCATION. There is a difference in the quality of the food. The Trader's Point food is consistently NOT cooked to order (instead of over-easy eggs were over-hard); cold food, sloppy presentation, chaotic atmosphere, etc. Servers are impersonal and don't greet guests at the table respectfully. Keystone@Crossing is the best location in terms of cooking, service, and efficient & peaceful ambiance. read more

We've been to this location several times now and always had a pleasant experience. The restaurant is geared toward a healthier life style, vegetarians and vegans. Hubby tolerates the healthier menu for me but prefers the restaurants serving lots of fats and carbs. I've been riding the fence since there wasn't one particular dish I couldn't wait to have again...Until the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. I'm not a huge pancake lover but place lemon curd and strawberries on top and I'm there. Lemon Curd is a major weakness for me. First Watch is a chain restaurant located on the East end of the strip center. Trader Joe's on the opposite end, Pier One in the middle with Starbucks next door. Parking is an issue on most visits since Starbucks is next door and several other restaurant's close by but you just have to be patient. Most of the seating is spacious booths with some tables and outdoor patio seating on the sidewalk. The decor is minimal with a comfortable atmosphere. A large communal table is in the front corner across from the entrance and just pass the host/hostess counter. The servers are friendly, knowledgeable concerning the menu and provides fast, friendly service. No sharing charge, and reasonably priced for healthy meals. My husband ordered the Traditional Breakfast with 2 eggs, grilled ham steak, English muffin, seasoned potatoes and English muffin. I ordered the Tri-Athlete consisting of an egg white omelet with house roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions tomatoes, and green chilies. Served with housemade salsa, dry English muffin and fresh fruit. We both enjoyed our breakfast and would order again. The Tri-Fecta is a nice option for those wanting a little protein and carbs. Eggs, pancakes, or all multigrain pancakes, and meat of your choice. Try my favorite which is the Ricotta Pancakes topped with lemon curd and strawberries. Delicious!! Favorite things: Cold bottled water, large coffee cups, healthy options, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, friendly servers, communal table and fast service. As much as I love all things breakfast, I can't believe how long it took me to finally eat at First Watch. So so good!! I normally get so excited when I see a tasty looking healthy breakfast menu and order too much food and have to take some home. Or often the portions are so small I leave still hungry. At First Watch the portions were perfect and I ate every morsel on my plate!!! Since they have some limited outdoor seating a friend and I decided to dine in on one of the last decent weather days. I got the Farmhouse skillet hash with some changes (no cheese added spinach). Appreciated that they didn't make a big deal out of leaving the cheese off. I asked for my bacon on the side meaning strips but they gave me bacon crumbles (which are often too hard like jerky). Our uber friendly server fixed it and brought me strips as soon as I mentioned it. The artisan bread was Amazing!! I love a good green juice so instead of coffee I got the Kale tonic. You know those waiters or waitresses who go above and beyond their job and make your meal all that more special? I recently had that experience at this First Watch location, which I had been to on many occasions. I'm a big fan of First Watch - my favorite dishes are the tri athlete omelet, vegg'd out omelet, and the quinoa bowls. On this trip, I tried the avocado toast with two fried eggs. It was my first ever avocado toast experience and not my last - do yourself a favor and squeeze the lemon wedge over the avocado. Ah-mazing! I wish that the toast to avocado ratio was a little more proportional (too much avocado/not enough toast). BUT, what put a smile on my face this visit was our waiter, Corey. It was the Monday after the Super Bowl and he was chipper and chatty (without being annoying). He seemed genuinely interested in learning more about his customers beyond what they wanted to drink. Went to First Watch with a group of friends over the weekend. It was a great place for brunch. The food was phenomenal. I got the trifecta with scrambled eggs, a waffle, and bacon. It offered a higher end taste without the higher end prices which was one of the best features. Inside the restaurant was very busy but not overbearing and creating for a comfortable environment to talk and eat with friends. The parking was the only issue, there basically no spaces available and it took a minute to find one close to the restaurant. Overall I had a great experience and look forward to going back in the future. read more

Ok, let me just start by saying, I love First Watch. I love ordering take out, I loved visiting pre-pandemic, their food, their staff, LOVE. I came here for brunch with a friend and I was a little surprised that none of the patrons had masks on. Now, this is my first pandemic indoor dining so, IDK if rules have changed, but I thought customers were suppose to wear masks unless they are eating or drinking. Needles to say, I was a little on edge. They do practice social distancing with seating arrangements, so that's a plus. All of the staff were wearing masks and the food was fantastic as ever. I've totally missed the Power Breakfast Quinoa bowl (it's good as take out, but WAY better just served). Will I be back? For take out, 100%. Dining in?? Well, maybe.. I hate giving bad reviews based on service alone, but I hope the managers of this First Watch location get my memo. First Watch is one of my favorite brunch spots in Indy. The food is delicious, there is always an interesting daily special (like matcha latte pancakes) and they have a lot of great healthy options (like an ancient grains bowl). But, the location on the northwest side needs to figure out a better process for how they run the floor. My friend and I showed up on Sunday for brunch around noon -- which is certainly the busiest time for brunching. The wait for a table was going to be about 45 minutes, but the host informed us that they had a communal table that was first come, first serve. So when a spot opened up at the communal table, we hopped in. It took a bit for a server to approach us at the table, and by that time another couple had sat down opposite us at the communal table. There was no silverware on the table or glasses, presumably this was due to it being so busy but if the staff were all working together, they should've noticed. The server only brought one coffee cup with her as she approached the table. When she asked would would like the first pour and I said I would, she pours the cup and pushes it across the table to the man who sat down AFTER us. A little off putting, but I was still willing to give her a second chance. When I asked her what her name was (because being a former server myself, I prefer to be referred by name instead of "miss", "ma'am", or "hey you"), she informed me that they don't give out their names usually because every server at FW works the floor together. Ok....that's fine...but this didn't help her case later when she came back to take our order andCompletely skipped over me and my dining companion, going straight again to the couple that arrived at our table after us. We had our menus folded down on the side and we're clearly ready to put in an order for food. I am not sure why she skipped over us, not once, but twice! She placed the couple's food order and then proceeded to bring their food to the table -- we still had not even placed our food order. After I had to flag down another server, we finally got our order in. The food itself was fantastic though... fluffy pancakes infused with matcha and dressed with a beautiful fruit compote. Had a lovely breakfast bowl too with farro and perfectly poached eggs. My friend ordered a sandwich "to go", but they forgot about this as well. We had to ask the host when we were paying fornor checks if he had seen a takeout order waiting in the kitchen. I like the Fashion Mall location for First Watch much better. The service is better and it's not so crowded. I think the northwest side location needs to train their servers better on how to work the floor "together". read more

Honestly, less than stellar. My food was cold and for this place to be nearly empty it took them 2 tries to Get my food to me correctly. Definitely will not be back. Then while my food gets even colder the manager walks like molasses to get hot syrup after having asked 2 other waiters. I ask for the meal to be taken off and he says, " Yeah, well sorry about that". Pissed is an understatement, no one walks into restaurants seeking to have their meal comped. When I arrived to the entrance, the first time, one of the staff opened the door to let me in, what a pleasant surprise. The wrap was good. The veggies taste fresh. My daughter and I wanted to try this place and we were not disappointed. I had the smashed avocado toast and eggs, and my daughter got pancakes with fruit compote and potatoes. Started off as a 3 star review until I got the bill. The wait staff are good. Food presentation is good. The food might have been good if it had actually been served hot. I ordered an omelet, seasoned fries, a waffle and coffee. The coffee was very good but just warm. The rest was Luke warm to cold. As soon as I got my waffle, I spread the butter on it. It never melted. Because it was cold. This is usually what I order at Dennys or IHOP and really, eggs are eggs. They taste no different from a cheap restaurant to a fancy restaurant. I normally pay about $15 at those places before tip. This bill was $35 before tip! Not worth it on any level. read more

I love that we have a new place on the Northwest side to get fresh, and delicious food for breakfast! Things got off to an excellent start when our server asked right away if we wanted coffee. Yes please!! She brought out the pot, poured a generous cup and left an insulated carafe on the table. Nice! No waiting for servers to come around to refill tiny 5 oz cups. Speaking of the coffee - it was excellent! Great flavor and not too weak or too strong! The menu is great; I was heading out to lunch later, and so wanted something a little lighter and went with the tri-athlete breakfast. The vegetable, egg white omelette was delicious! I loved the roasted mushrooms, and the house made salsa was great! The fresh fruit was wonderful; everything was sweet and perfect. The English muffin was very good as well, and came with a strawberry spread which was also quite good. The other omelettes, power bowls and pancakes looked excellent as well; I must return on a day when I won't be eating a big meal 4 hours later. Service was excellent; our server was friendly and even caught that the original English muffin that was going to be part of my breakfast was a little burnt and sent it back before I even saw it (she said this to explain why the muffin was coming out a bit after my omelette and fruit). He said the biscuits were dense and the gravy was good, but wished there was a little more gravy to finish the biscuits with. The omelette was delicious, but I would have liked it to be spicy. Asked the waitress what the hold up was and she advised the kitchen was backed up. She then came back and told us that our order had went out to the wrong table and they would comp our meals ,for a party of 4 and it would be expedited. As we watched a dozen more tables being served while we still waited we asked the hostess to speak to the manager. She came back telling us that they were all too busy to come speak to us.
