I have been to First Watch several times, but this was my first time at this location and it was truly enjoyable. A catch up between girlfriends was fun with a tasty breakfast. Waitress was helpful without being overbearing. Checking in on us. Lowkey, easy going vibes here. Nice and clean atmosphere. The power breakfast bowl was so tasty. Didn't need additional seasoning. Flavored just right. Of course I added a little hot sauce because...why not. Affordable, entire bill with tip was less than $20.

This is my go-to brekkie place!!! Always have great dishes and good variety with their seasonal menu. I always get the chicken apple sausage or million dollar bacon.... mmmmm so good! This time I ordered the carne asada tacos and the steak was super juicy and tender. The eggs were fluffy and it was nicely paired with fresh avocado, pickled onions, and crema sauce. Delish! My dad got the salmon eggs benedict and said it was delicious. I always get great service at the Mandarin location on San Jose. Love this place!

My husband knows the way to my heart is through a good brunch potato, so he set out on a mission to find a spot that would impress -- and First Watch absolutely delivered. We honestly didn't know what to expect, but everything turned out so good. We kicked things off with mimosas, and I love the way they serve them here: a split of champagne and your own glass of juice. Cute, simple, and honestly the perfect brunch starter. The Million Dollar Bacon lived up to its name -- sweet, smoky, and ridiculously addictive. I ordered the Parma Skillet Hash, which was packed with flavor, and my husband went with the Carne Asada Tacos. Of course I stole a bite (or two), and they were delicious. This spot easily earned its place as our new go-to brunch stop whenever we're in Jacksonville. Huge shoutout to our waitress Savanah, who was amazing -- friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The inside low-key gives Denny's vibes (lol), but don't let that fool you. The food? Top tier. We'll definitely be back!

Tried out the Strawberry tres leche French toast! Yum! We went on a Sunday, and it was pretty busy but our waiter was very attentive and polite. First watch is our alternative brunch spot when we don't feel like crossing the bridge for Cracker Barrel lol. Just about anything on the menu is a delicious option!

11/23/25. I must say I'm amazed lately how many people go out to eat! Here a Sunday morning 9:30-10:00 am and the place was packed! We were saying goodbye to family and decided to meet for breakfast (not sure why all those other people were there...lol). Service was good, food was good, prices on the high end but you left feeling like you ate. The maple syrup was hot for our waffles/pancakes, eggs done right..I understand why people come....

First Watch is a place where you can get Boutique-style cooking from a Chain restaurant. I particularly like this place because they have cleaner eat option. They're not afraid to mix their menu with new & infused flavors. They have fresh squeezed juices and tonics. Also, ordering coffee comes with your own karafe. Walking into the restaurant it's tables and booths. I've only gone during the week so it's not crowd. All the rave this time is Lavendar French Toast. The subtle taste of lavender sweetened by mousse was a delight & the Kale Tonic is my favorite IT's just refreshing. Also, at the Mandarin location, there are tables near outlets. I was able to do some work from home (WFH) while I was there. The wait staff were super accommodating.

Very busy location with lots of seating inside and outside. Our server was very kind and professional. The hostess up front was so nice and he made sure that we were comfortable and properly seated within a timely manner. The dishes were made to order and the drinks and juices weee amazing. I really enjoyed the large portions of food with very reasonable prices.

After a bit of shopping at Plaza, we decided to stop by First Watch for a quick bite. It's part of a chain with mostly a breakfast menu. We ordered oatmeal for my daughter, and I got an omelet, both of which were fresh and delicious. The highlight was the lemon bluberry pancake we had for dessert--so fresh and flavorful! We enjoyed our meal at First Watch, and it was a delightful stop. Free parking nearby. Clean, nice, but crowded as well as at other locations. There is plenty of free parking nearby.

This was disappointing. How do you serve an old, brown avocado spread.

The staff was very helpful and helped us choose items from the menu. The inside was busy and we sat at a booth. We were glad we made reservations as without them a seat might have been a challenge. The food was so good. The pork belly was shocking good. The rest of the food was very good and for steaks and meats we enjoyed them. This was our first Columbian steakhouse so we have no others to compare it with. We will visit them again.

They were crispy on the outside, warm on the inside, and filled with flavorful meat. The sauces paired perfectly with them and made an already great appetizer even better. For my entrée, I ordered the Bandeja Paisa, and it did not disappoint. The meats were the star of the plate. Everything was juicy, cooked perfectly, and seasoned just enough without being overpowering. The steak was surprisingly tender despite being well done, with just the right amount of fat. The sausage had a great snap, the egg was perfectly jammy, and the chicharrón was absolutely incredible--crispy, crunchy, and easily one of the best I've had. I didn't try the sweet plantains since I'm not a fan and they couldn't be substituted. The arepa was good, although nothing particularly memorable. The only parts of the meal I wasn't impressed with were the rice, which was a bit too salty for my taste, and the beans, which lacked flavor and were underwhelming. For dessert, I tried both the tiramisu and the chocolate cake. The tiramisu was just okay--it wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out, and I wouldn't order it again. The chocolate cake, however, was outstanding. It was incredibly moist, rich without being overly sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, Salento does an amazing job with their meats, and that's what I'd recommend most. While a couple of the sides and one dessert didn't quite hit the mark for me, the empanadas, Bandeja Paisa, chicharrón, and chocolate cake were all excellent. The service was amazing everyone was attentive and there to help and the ambiance was very calm and homey to me. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

I knew they were in the Mandarin area but wasn't exactly sure where but once we looked it up we realized how often we were in the area. We did come in on a Saturday Night so there was a wait to get in which was about 45 minutes for 2 but lucky Monkey's Uncle is right next-door so we grabbed some drinks there. We got our text that our table was ready and we walked over. Once seated our waitress went over the specials and I checked out the menu. They really have something for everyone and even some New Orleans classics. We of course had to get the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp since it's favorites plus it's one of their most popular dishes so it has to be good and you already know it was. The spicy butter sauce had so much flavor and the shrimp were cooked perfectly and the bread was great for sopping up every last drop of sauce. Being at Picasso's we also had to try a pizza and they have St Louis style which is have never had but I do love a thin crust so we tried the 12" The Gourmet Pizza which comes with Pancetta Bacon, Caramelized Onions, Brie, and Truffle Oil. This pizza was amazing and unlike any I have had. I will say the Brie will catch you off guard at first but this pizza is for sure worth a try. For my entree I went with the Fettuccine Alfredo and I added a Chicken Cutlet for $10. Let me tell you.... This might have been the best Fettuccine Alfredo I have ever hit it's that good. The Fettuccine Alfredo is made in house from scratch which is how it always should be done and the Alfredo is so flavorful. The Chicken Cutlet is also crispy, tender and flavorful as well. You really cannot go wrong with this combo. If you are a connoisseur of Fettuccine Alfredo Picasso's is a place you can not miss. We had an amazing dinner and the staff was so friendly and hopeful from entering to leaving. We for sure will be coming back in the near future to try some new dishes though I don't know how I'm going to be able to come back and not get that Fettuccine Alfredo.
