Visited First Watch in Clearwater during my trip and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The food came out fresh, well seasoned, and genuinely satisfying. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, the potatoes had a great crispy bite, and the bacon was cooked just right. I also tried one of their juices, and it was honestly so refreshing, bright, cold, and tasted super fresh. The portions were generous without feeling heavy, and everything looked as good as it tasted. Service was smooth, and the vibe was exactly what you want from a breakfast and brunch spot. I would definitely come back next time I am in town.

Rebecca is awesome for her five star service and spot on recommendations. We wanted to switch up a cold brew coffee and she made us her special cold brew with sea salted caramel drizzle inside the glass and sweet cold foam. Holy smokes! Best cold brew we've ever experienced. Rebecca is such as a joy and we look for her to lift out morning. First Watch in Oldsmar has a nice vibe with inside and outside seating. We often use the outside area for work meetings and enjoy great food. We love this particular location. Food of course is always quality. Our current favorites are the Cranberry Citrus Frost, Hot Blueberry Pancakes and Double Bacon Parmesan Hash.

Same star review update! A few years ago I rated First Watch in Oldsmar a four star first impression and will keep it that way. I'm still digging the modern farmhouse vibe and overall esthetic, the larger than life menu, gluten free choices, and stellar iced coffee. The food is consistently top notch. So why is one star missing? Experience. First Watch offers brunch including pitchers of blackberry sangria. When any pitcher of alcohol is served to a table, it's safe to assume that party wants to stay for a bit. Recently my group went for brunch, ordered the sangria, and felt incredibly rushed. Our vibe that day: sip fresh coffee, catch up a bit, explore the giant menu, and pour the first glass of sangria. Their vibe: get us to order like the restaurant was on fire. Food was served promptly and was fantastic. No complaints there, just that our check was delivered 50 minutes after arriving. I would understand if the place was packed but it wasn't. Weekend brunch should never be rushed, it is to be thoroughly enjoyed.

Such a great first time experience at First Watch! Like, how have I never known about this place?? Anyway.... The menu is off the chain and the iced coffee was delicious! My favorite part was having such a great server and having food in front of me so quickly!!! Y'all, this is a must try location, I'm now a huge fan of this restaurant/chain and will be bringing my friends and family to join me consistently!!!!!

First Watch is one of my favorite brunch spots. The food is always delicious and they always have something new on the menu. On our most recent visit, I ordered the Parmesan Prosciutto toast, it's a seasonal item. I love the mix of textured and flavors, specially the arugula. I'm a big Arugula girl! My friend ordered the French Toast and it's one of the best ever, the brioche bread really makes a huge difference and they serve it with warm syrup, yum! We also ordered blueberry muffins grilled, trust me once you have a grilled muffin you will never want it any other way. This particular location was very very busy when we went and as a result it was a little messy and service was slower, but overall we were very happy.

Grits and an egg over medium. More than enough for me. Less than $5

This is a popular breakfast chain with great service, properly cooked eggs and low prices. My friend and I arrived at 10am on a Saturday and we only had to wait 30 minutes. The weather is so wonderful, we ate outside. I always order an egg over medium and they cooked it perfectly. Then I get a side of grits and they were smooth and buttery. In fact, I think next time I will ask for less butter. But, I have to admit, grits and butter go well together. My friend got a vegetable and smoked salmon frittata and it looked good. He reported it was delicious. He had it with fresh fruit and it was also very affordable. I think next time we will have breakfast earlier and perhaps avoid the rush. Life is good with grits!

I am clearly not a morning person as I work nights, so there's very few things in life that I will wake up early (as in before 11 am) for. First Watch is one of them. Why??? Because they are the BEST place to go for breakfast. Everything they make is with fresh, top-notch ingredients, and its non-greasy, which is another bonus. Think of any breakfast item, go ahead, any you could think of, and I guarantee that First Watch makes it better than the rest. Pancakes? First Watch's pancakes are HUGE and come in great flavors like chocolate chip, blueberry, carrot cake, and are delicious until the very last bite. They are also multigrain, which I normally hate, but theirs is hearty and adds a rather pleasing texture. Omelets? Wow, they are the best. They have a huge variety you can choose from that you won't get anywhere else. My go to fave is the Gruyere-Ham omelet, which you won't get anywhere else. Gruyere is some of my most favorite cheese, which again goes back to them only using the best ingredients. They also use thinly sliced ham in this omelet. Strangely takes me back to the Parisian cafes because apparently there's alot of ham in Paris, and like in Paris, they add a side of salad to their omelets. Who else does that??? Typically I reject the toast that comes with the breakfast, but oh man, I LIVE for their toast. Homemade multigrain (again--not really my favorite in any other situation, but First Watch does multigrain VERY well) with butter and HOMEMADE strawberry preserves. The perfect finish to an outstanding breakfast. I had to add their cheese grits for good measure, because I LOVE grits. Theirs is smooth and buttery to perfection with a rich layer of cheddar on top. I would definitely have to get this next time I go. Customer service is ALWAYS good. They greet you with a bright smile and the servers are always attentive with good people skills. They seem happy, and a happy employee has to come from a good company, I hope. Always a pleasure to eat here, and they are always worth the early morning wake up for me.

    Banana Crunch Whole Grain Pancakes...yummy!

Great Breakfast & Brunch spot in the area. Nice bright, clean, comfortable interior as you walk in. Wide array of breakfast and lunch choices, featuring fresh, made-from-scratch dishes. For my breakfast, I ordered the Healthy Turkey Omelet...Egg white omelet with turkey, house-roasted onions, tomatoes, spinach and Feta. Served with whole grain artisan toast and all-natural house preserves. Really enjoyed the Banana Crunch Whole Grain Pancakes too. Nice fluffy centers, light crisp outside. Everything tasted fresh and wholesome.

Food quality is amazing. Farmhouse fresh made with a Florida twist. Flavor of food was amazing. They put effort in their service and in presentation of their food. Price was amazing too! For a family of three, we paid only $36! Plus the service was super quick and they were very attentive to our order I got the elevated eggs sandwich. Amazing! The amount of avocado and bacon. And the potatoes have a little heat to them. Husband got the chickchanga and he loved it! Very flavorful and amazing presentation. Our daughter got a chocolate chip pancake with bacon. The size was massive and she ate the whole thing!

To call this French is an insult to France! I was born and…read moreraised in France, getting my bakery goods in the mornings from bakery down the street. The ambience was nice and so was service, but that's where the good things end. This was a disaster and shameful that it's called French. Serving croissants and eclairs and putting French names to menu items does not make something French. We ordered a turkey omelette with eggs on top, an eclair, a chocolate croissant, a croissant with ham and cheese and tomato and lettuce, and a cream filled beignet. Let's start with the bakery goods. All bakery goods should be made fresh that same morning. The croissants, and pastries all should be flaky and taste fresh. These were hard as if they were all yesterday's leftovers. The filling on the beignet was obviously a Jell-O pudding mix, and definitely not homemade. The eclair for some reason had some kind of supposed chantilly cream and raspberry instead of the traditional filling, and both of those fillings were also all store-bought. The eclair was also stale and tasted like it had been in the fridge since yesterday. The omelette was an absolute joke. If you look at the picture I posted, my index finger was actually taller than the entire omelette which is supposed to be filled with ham and cheese as you can see from the post photo. The ham and cheese were also packaged meat and cheese as you can tell since they all were sliced exactly in the same way and same size and tasted processed, and the cheese wasn't even melted completely. The omelette was just incredibly dry and bland. The croissant suffered from the same disease. It was hard, not flaky, and tasted stale as if it had been made yesterday, and all of the meat and cheese was obviously packaged meat and cheese which tasted processed. This tastes nothing like anything you would find at any French bakery in France. In France. Everything is made the same day, and the moment it starts going stale and stops being flaky, is thrown away. This is an absolute insult to French bakeries. Even if you compare it to other American bakeries and breakfast places, nothing tasted good and for that price, it should. Definitely avoid this place. I know I will.

In fact, the staff couldn't be nicer, and they were quite patient as I spent some time ogling the bakery case making my decisions. My selections were all sweets today. Blueberry croissant - a first for me and utterly delicious (couldn't wait to get home and had to have a bite in my car!). An almond and chocolate croissant - the gold standards. I topped off my order with the classically French tarte au pomme and a fresh berry tart with cream filling. Just divine, each and every one! Jerome's does not disappoint!

We chose to sit on the patio and waited for nearly 30 minutes without a single employee checking on our table. The line inside was all the way to the door, so at first we assumed someone would eventually come by, take our order, or at least acknowledge us. Instead, we watched multiple tables on both sides of us receive service while our table was completely ignored. Eventually, we ordered through the QR code on the menu. What wasn't clear is that QR code orders are apparently treated exactly like takeout orders. When our first item was ready, it was handed to us in a plastic container inside a bag. We explained that we were dining in, not taking food to go. I specifically asked a staff member named Graham if the remaining 3 dishes could simply be served on regular plates. He told me "that wasn't possible and that QR code orders automatically come in to-go containers". That explanation made very little sense considering we were sitting at a table in the restaurant. A few minutes later, one of my friends flagged down another server, who had no issue arranging for the food to be served on actual plates. That inconsistency was honestly mind-blowing. To make things even stranger, one coffee arrived in a ceramic mug while the rest came in disposable to-go cups. Nothing about the service felt organized or logical. As for the food, it was fine. Not bad, but nothing particularly memorable or worth making a special trip for. Given that I drove about an hour and paid tolls to visit, I definitely won't be making that drive again. I understand places get busy, but basic service still matters. If you're asking customers to tip when ordering through a QR code, serving dine-in food on actual plates instead of plastic takeout containers doesn't seem like an unreasonable expectation. There are simply too many other coffee shops with better service for me to return. 3 stars because the atmosphere was decent and the food was okay, but the service was disappointing from start to finish.
