The Carne Asada hash on their summer menu was fantastic! The steak was very tender, and I loved that they actually made the potatoes crispy and cooked the shallots well. Yum! And they always have the nicest servers

The place was clean and nice the vibe was okay too and the service was good when they brought the food out the pancakes they was bigger then I thought and the food was good the only down side is the million dollar bacon was smaller then I thought and didn't taste like a million dollar bacon like that advertised.

We came today to celebrate Husband's birthday a month late. We were seated promptly since it wasn't busy. Our wait staff was pleasant and fast. Don't know her name as she did not introduce herself. I was thrilled to see no up charge on the gluten free toast. I try to limit the amount of gluten I have and this was perfect. Our food came fairly quickly. This was the first time I've been disappointed with my meal. I hate wasting food, so I made do with the room temperature bacon and eggs. The toast was not hot. The only thing streaming were the grits. Husband asked for his breakfast to be microwaved since nothing was warm. But our wait staff took his to remake it. They have no microwave. When it came back, he said it was hot and delicious. Next time, and we will return, I'm sending mine back if all of my meal is not cooked correctly.

    The Works Omelette

Everything here always tastes so fresh! The service is always spot on! Clean & pleasant atmosphere! We stopped in today for a late breakfast. Nicole was our server and she was quick, efficient, and friendly. Hubs had The Works omelette which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Eggs Benedict BLT style with a side of potatoes. Their Eggs Benedict are served on a slice of ciabatta bread rather than the traditional English muffin. The eggs were poached perfectly, the sauce was lemony, & the potatoes were nice and crispy. Everything and everyone was great!

Predatory worker compensation structure - Be aware…read more We recently dined here and noticed the tabletop signs explaining a mandatory 20% "commission" added to every single bill. When speaking with our server, she informed us that management classifies the waitstaff as 1099 independent contractors, meaning they receive a $0 hourly base rate from the restaurant and rely entirely on this mandatory guest fee for their paycheck.I have a physical copy of the check showing this automatic fee. While the sign claims this "supports our team," classifying standard restaurant servers as 1099 workers instead of W-2 employees is a massive red flag that contradicts federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines. Independent contractors set their own hours and operations; servers do not. Furthermore, a restaurant cannot legally leave a server's direct hourly base wage at zero by relying entirely on automatic service fees.We love supporting local staff, but we want our money going to businesses that respect basic labor laws and compensate their employees legally. Hopefully, public pressure will force management to fix their payroll structure. The server said the restaurant was on the verge of bankruptcy and had to make changes. Sadly they chose to break the law. On that note the service was lovely, the food very tasty. I asked to sub corn for flour tortias and she was able. We don't directly live in the area, and its been a while since we've been here. Its always good, with good portions and not a chain. Its so unfortunate.

This place is absolutely adorable…read more I think this street is the perfect place to hit up a couple restaurants for a progressive dinner. A lot of the restaurants are closed for lunch though, which is how we ended up here. It's a lot larger than it looks. There's a really cute covered outdoors area in the back with a stage for performances. There were only a few diners there for lunch on a Friday so it was easy to grab a spot. I got a skinny strawberry margarita, it made me happy to see a skinny version of a flavored margarita on the menu. It has a sugar rim and was delicious. It's on the sweet side and I'd definitely get it again. I requested it without soda water. For my main I got the salmon bowl. I wouldn't get this again, but it's because the base is mainly fried wontons. I thought it would be a scattering of fried wontons but nope, it was a hefty portion. I didn't eat most of the fried wontons because I'm trying to be healthy. It's a delicious dish, just not for me. Service was great, but we were an easy table because we were chatting the entire time. I enjoyed our meal here, so we will definitely be back!

When we walked in we were immediately greeted and one of the young ladies asked us if it was our first time in. She then proceeded to explain the menu and let us know what they were out of. The owner was also walking around greeting customers and he spoke to us. After we placed our take out order, one of them offered to bring the food to our which was nice. We ordered the dark meat chicken dinner with mac and cheese and baked beans plus a few extra sides: french fries, collard greens, and potato salad. We also ordered the original banana pudding and strawberry crunch banana pudding. The chicken was delicious and the sauce was fantastic. I wish we could've bought a bottle of it to take home with us. The sides did not miss either. My favorite side was the baked beans and my husband loved the fries. I LOVE my baked beans with ground beef in them. The banana pudding was so so good and it was devoured immediately. Wish we would've bought two more lol. Note: The collard greens have smoked turkey in them not pork, so I appreciated that. Absolutely wonderful meal to close out our trip to the beach. Highly recommend stopping by, and I can't wait to visit Tarpon Springs again just to eat here.
