First time we came out to this place it was good. During the week for lunch. Saturday morning for breakfast not so good. We waiting 45 min to be seating which is normal. But after being seated it took 10min before I had to tell them HELLO. WE ARE HERE WAITING. Lots of growing pains here. Had to send a couple orders back because it wasn't Cooked properly, was cold as well as they forgot to include some things in the order. Reposting because someone tried to have it removed. They have reached out to me about trying the restaurant again and I will update once I do. But please moderators, do not remove a post I meant to make. We have been here twice. I love the food, and the menu is superb with gluten free and veggie options. However, the goodness ends there. The Pearland location is new and clearly still has some customer service kinks to work out. We got in line online with the app and when we arrived the app said that there were 0 people in front of us. We checked in and then 4 tables were seated before us. When asked about the wait at that point, we were told there were still 3 parties ahead of us. What is the point of your app? It took 20 minutes for me to get coffee from the time we were seated. TWENTY MINUTES. After a 30 minute wait to sit down it was pretty egregious. Also, the management needs to be made aware that busboys routinely do not bus tables. We watched a staff member spend no kidding, 10 minutes shifting stuff around on a dirty table moving like sloth. It was so humorous that we started laughing about it. He picked up a few dishes, walked very slowly to the kitchen and then stood there talking to someone for another 5 full minutes. Meanwhile the table he had been working on was still FULL of the remaining dirty dishes. It would have been comical if there weren't like 20 parties waiting to be seated. Our waitress pretty much ignored us once we got our food and we had to go to the check out counter to ask for our bill. I would have complained to a manager but my husband doesn't like making a scene. To be fair they did have a "We're hiring" sign up and they may have been understaffed. But with some people standing around and others so busy that they stop caring, the workload was clearly in need of balancing. We will go back because there is potential and the food, no kidding is GREAT-- but we will give management some time to get themselves together. read more

Great brunch place here in pearland. This is something we needed other than Chick-fil-A, taco cabana and Panera. Everything is freshly cut and cooked, very tasty. I would give First Watch 5 stars but it seems every time my family and I visit the service is slow and there is a lack of customer service with the wait staff. They are nice when you finically get to meet your server, but then they seem to disappear for 20-30 minutes before you can place your drink orders. By then you already know what your going to order for food so you go ahead and place your food order just Incase you loose the server again. Farm to table fresh food takes a little longer than fast food so be prepared to wait. read more

My first visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were seated right away. Extensive menu. My kids enjoyed their food. I ordered the triathlete. Not very flavorful but was healthy. The food is ok, not great and over priced. The service was terrible. I never got a drink refill after asking twice. About half of the tables in the restaurant sat empty and unbussed while there was a lengthy wait and three hosts standing around doing nothing. We waited almost an hour after ordering to get our food. And as mentioned earlier, I finished my drink about 30 minutes before our food arrived. I asked the food runner that delivered our food for a refill and never got it. Our server came by to check how things were tasting 20 minutes later (when we were almost done) and I asked for a drink refill again and never got it. We could hear someone in the kitchen yelling. There didn't appear to be anyone in charge on the floor, I can only guess the manager was the one yelling in the kitchen. WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more

This First Watch location is amazing! I've been here twice and tried their shrimp and grits, lemon ricotta pancakes, Floridian French toast, the farmhouse skillet and their golden glow drink. The only positive about our experience at First Watch in Pearland (on Broadway) was our server. He did a good job and the negatives had nothing to do with him. The food was not bad. It varied from person to person in our party and ranged from ok to pretty good on the meals. The donut holes and sauces were scrumptious and so was the fresh squeezed OJ. Now for the thing that made this whole experience worth only a 1 . We arrived at 11:45 and saved our place in line. There were not that many people there and only two groups ahead of us in line. We finally got a table at 12:45. The food did not arrive until 2:05!!! We all ordered basic things off the menu except one person in our party with dietary concerns. It was irritating to go to a place that seems to be conscientious about health and for them to refuse to be flexible about something as simple as using olive oil in the pan, rather than butter. (Dairy allergy). The problem was obvious. Management did not have enough kitchen help. They allowed way too many online orders, evidenced by the number of people that came in getting to-go boxes. There is no excuse for filling order after order online and ignoring those that are eating in the restaurant. I had breakfast at First Watch on Saturday 5/25/19 and it was amazing! The blueberry pancakes have fresh blueberries and the eggs are fluffy. The wheat toast was also fabulous!
