Upon arrival we were told a 20 minute wait... 60 minutes later we were seated. That didn't bother us, as it was Sunday at prime brunch time... what did bother us was when we walked into the restaurant and there were SEVENTEEN empty tables (we counted). Yeah I've had some minor issues, but overall I really enjoy the food, and the service is consistently great. I think they are only going to get better with time. The main reason for my 5 star? Very disappointed with the customer service and food experience! Got on the wait list online, waited 45 minutes!! after getting a text that my table was ready I walked into the restaurant only to be told with ATTITUDE that I would have to wait another 20-45 minutes. We sit and we wait at least 20 to 30 minutes for food when the pool comes out they're saying from my plate I ordered the tacos with a side of black beans take my phone in the bowl of black beans and it's ice cold the food was disgusting eggs were overcooked! Now let us talk about this million dollar bacon that used to be a thicker cut and was really well seasoned and glaze it was terrible very thin sliced bacon no spices no seasoning not nearly what it was the very first time that we've been to this restaurant! we did not get any service we have to ask for napkins and waited another five or 10 minutes for those it was a complete flop I will never visit this restaurant again the customer service people are terrible they have really bad attitude and not to mention the one girl that kept sneaking off and sitting on a bucket checking her phone! read more

Caterpillar in my salad. If you go please pay attention to your greens. According to the manager the greens come prepackaged but I guess they aren't washed after. Didn't t have to pay for it but we didn't finish and left. The manager didn't make a big deal out of it so made it seem like nothing. read more

I visited this place the day before to check out the menu. They didn't have champagne for the mimosas so I ordered the drink with Pomegranate in it while a viewed the menu. I decided I would come back today to have the real breakfast experience. It looked pretty busy but I was advised I could sit at the bar since it was just me. I ordered coffee, mimosa (which she said they hadn't got the champagne yet) so I ordered the Morning Fresher. I also ordered the salmon toast, a side of slice avocado and the million dollar bacon. As you can see from the photos the bacon is burnt, it wasn't hot or lukewarm and it was sticky. I only ate one slice. The service was mediocre at best. As I was eating the toast I asked the bartender with the blonde pig tails for extra napkins because the only napkin I had was the one rolled in the silverware. I presume she did not hear me and then the guy next to me stopped her and asked her for extra napkins for me. She directed them towards him and then he pointed to me and I had to reach over in front of him to retrieve them. Upon continuing eating a guy bartender comes on with a full bottle of champagne and a smaller version. As he's measuring the servings she turns to the guy next to the guy sitting next to me, laughs and tells him that they were suppose to send the smaller bottle and sent the larger bottles instead. I'm not sure if he even ordered mimosas because he didn't get served any. The irony in it is that she offered samples of the drinks before actually ordering them. If I orders mimosas earlier before the champagne arrived; why not offer me a sample to see if I was still interested in ordering it when it actually came? The bar sits maybe 6-8 people and between two bartenders I'm not sure why the service was subpar for me. The ladies sitting to my left for the wheelchair accessible had ordered their food to go, leaving just the high chairs to service with the exception of any alcohol orders for me floor; which was rarely any at all. The guys next to me were not satisfied with their orders either. The bartender went as far as to tell the guy sitting next to me that the strawberry jam on his toast was actually Puckers and not actual strawberry preserves as listed on the menu. I doubt I'll be returning here any time soon due to the lack of service, customer interaction, etc. Icould've ordered my food to go and probably would have had a better experience than sitting in. Update; I attended First Watch over the weekend and had a completely DIFFERENT experience. My waitress was kind and attentive. I ordered NOTHING on the menu. Everything was individual and made to be a scramble. It was EVERYTHING I hoped it would be. I didn't rate a 5 star because I ordered the Million Dollar Bacon again and it was cold, correctly cooked (not burnt) and I was hungry so I literally ate EVERYTHING. I want to give them a 5 star but I'd really like to have their Million Dollar Bacon HOT. With the seasoning and sweetness of it; I KNOW it will be AMAZING. The customer service offered a gc for my previous experience but I needed to have another experience without influence. I will return and give the bacon another shot! read more

The food is good but the service is not. At least on the weekend they are incredibly busy and under staffed. Tables wait to be cleaned while customers wait. I have visited several First Watch restaurants and am a big fan, and am delighted that one now exists in the west side of Pearland. This restaurant is still very new with a number of trainers present; the service quality was excellent and the interior clean, fresh, spacious, and modern. I always judge First Watch on several dishes, the elevated egg sandwich, BLT Benedict, and Chickichanga as these three dishes cover most of the trickier things to go wrong - Hollandaise sauce, dippy eggs, and general assembly of the dish. We didn't try the chickichanga on this trip but the first two dishes were consistently good with virtually nothing to fault. Lemony Hollandaise sauce is lighter than many but this is great on their BLT Benedict as it works so well with the Arugula and tomato. Elevated egg sandwich was exactly that with perfectly cooked eggs and plenty of everything. We will be back - I truly hope that this location can continue this exemplary level of food and service (unlike the other Pearland location that suffered badly after the initial opening) - not least because we are within 10min walking distance and would love to have such a great place as a local breakfast joint! read more

Service was absolutely horrible. This was the second time that I've been to this location and had a bad experience. It took 20 minutes for our server to even come to the table and another 10 just to get water. I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict which is supposed to be cooked with a poached egg. My egg was boiled. It took them 15 minutes to bring back a simple meal which I ended up sending back again since everyone else at my table was done with their meals and I had already eaten my potatoes and bacon. The manager on shift was horrible! When asked how much longer my food would take, her response was "it takes 2-3 minutes to cook a poached egg". So what accounts for the other 13 minutes? She proceeded to say "and we have other tickets" like that was my problem when the KITCHEN messed up my meal. Only reason I'm giving two stars is because I know that they can do better. read more

Been wanting to try this place since they opened. Went in this morning for breakfast. They were quite busy but I "got in line" on the app so our wait time after arriving was very minimal. The restaurant is very chic and has a great concept. The service was very good. Our server did get my order wrong but it was very loud when we ordered so I understood the mistake. She had it fixed very quickly. I think they still have a few "newly opened kinks" to work out but overall the dining experience was nice. I am a regular at the east pearland and sugar land locations so I was initially excited when I saw they opened one by my house. Went on a Tuesday mid morning (non peak hours) to make sure I didn't have any hiccups. Well wrong. They need help. Very young and inexperienced staff. There may have been a total of 6 tables occupied since the place was fairly slow after the breakfast crowd. They sat my party of 3 down and it took over 10 min to get water an an iced coffee. She was nowhere to be found. I had to ask for the water since it wasn't even provided nor did she ask if we wanted water. Very awkward non friendly waitress. Barely came by to see if we needed anything. The food didn't take a super long time. Seems like the kitchen is efficient and fast but the waitresses need more training and it seemed like they hated being there. Please make sure the staff wants to work before hiring them. I will give them a month or so in hopes some of the staff quits or gets fired before I try this location again. read more

Well, the ambiance is great! Enjoyed the coffee, but the kitchen was off today. This is my first time dinning with this restaurant and probably will be my last! First impressions are everything. Waited 30 minutes to be seated and then waited another hour to have cold food come out the first time, and then after sending it back, waited another 10 minutes for it be made incorrectly. I did enjoy the multigrain "Crunch Pancake" after I removed the frozen bananas from it. I am scoring this trip as one star because the omelette and the food was less than a satisfactory experience.
