A really neat breakfast brunch place that serves some tasty healthy options. The banana crunch pancake made with multigrain or whole wheat was very good. You can't even taste the whole wheat like at other places. Crispy on the outside & fluffy & soft on the inside. The million dollar bacon is a winner! If you're not a fan of sweet, then this might not be for you. We loved it though. The Floridian French toast came with a ton of fruits. And if you don't ask for maple syrup, it does not come with it. That's how healthy this place is. The green juice was my favorite. Service was friendly. You can go to yelp & go on their waiting list at busy times, it will cut your waiting time. Service here is friendly. Waiting time can be a bit long on weekends. The only thing missing for me is an espresso machine where they can serve lattes & cappuccinos. He didn't speak much to me and it felt as if I was a burden. If someone comes in and dines alone you should still give them stellar service and this is coming from a bartender/server. Their skillets are the best and that what I go for every time. The pricing is about on par to all the other brunch places. This place is really good! Came here at 8:30 am on a Friday and it was jammed packed! Was seated fairly quickly! Waited about 20 mins before we saw anyone....and he only gave us coffee....he was too busy to take our order and said he'd be back....so we waited some more....and after 25 more minutes we finally were able to get our order in Luckily, we told the waiter we now had 45 left before we had to go and he rushed our breakfast and brought it out immediately! Tried to come here Sunday afternoon. Thought the "waitlist" feature was going to help us not wait a long time. When I checked in for the waitlist it said wait was 20-30 minutes, and there were 7 groups ahead of us (just a party of 2). Just before I arrived the app said it was only 4 groups ahead of us. Went up to a host and explained I was on the list through Yelp and needed to check in - two minutes before the waitlist expected a confirmation. He then said it was going to be 20-30 minutes so it didn't feel like the Waitlist feature did anything. EVERYTHING was delicious. My avo was slightly (and I do mean SLIGHTLY) over salted but it was still delicious and I would definitely order it again. Very disappointed this morning! My husband & I came to firstwatch in Plano where I placed a side order of bacon then $4.69 then asked for the bacon to be swapped with potatoes $2.99 instead being that the bacon hadn't been eaten. Our server (Steve) went to the back for a few moments then came back with the bacon stating they will nit be able to swap out the bacon for potatoes, we would have to pay for an additional order of potatoes BUT we can keep the bacon if we still wany it. At that point I kindly asked to speak with a manager. Expressed my disappointment with how they handled the situation. Poor way to handle some of rhe kindest customers they will probably see. read more

Family ate lunch here today about noon. Pleasantly greeted when entered the restaurant doors and advised of a short wait. We received a text within a few minutes that our table was ready. Seated at a nice table which wasn't overly crowded together. We mainly ordered breakfast items -waffles, pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs and the like. One child announced halfway through their chocolate chip pancake that this was the best chocolate chip pancake they had eaten! I had the grilled Roast Beef and Havarti sandwich (very tasty) and a bowl of tomato soup. Service was great throughout and server made several suggestions of items and ensured the kids needs were addressed as well. As this is waaaaaay outside of our normal dining area in DFW, likely will not be back - unless we are headed to/from something up Hwy 75 again. But would highly recommend it, based on our experiences today. Since I changed my diet to mostly vegetarian it can be difficult to find healthier options without alienating the other party. This place most definitely settles the score. The waitress I forget her name but she's expecting and was just genuinely attentive, sweet, & informative so 5 stars for service. I couldn't decide between breakfast or lunch so...I got both lol. I ordered the veggie burger and quinoa lemon pancakes OMG they both were absolutely amazing! My veggies were fresh and burger seasoned to perfection. I originally got the pancakes to go but...sadly only 1 of the 3 made it to my car lol. And just when you think I'm exaggerating about the quality; they have a juice bar! The kale tonic is soo delicious. Overall I throughly enjoyed my meal. The portions are sufficient and prices are what you expect for the quality. Our bill was about $40 a little steep but I did get 2 entrees lol. Overall I'm excited to visit again soon. read more

Genuinely friendly and courteous, not like those pretentious restaurants where there's a hint of condescension behind the forced smiles. At First Watch, I felt as though they cared about us. 100% of the staff with whom we came in contact cared about making our visit a good one. And it was! But, in the grand scheme of things, what we go to a restaurant for is the food. And it was terrific! As I began ordering a la carte items, the server pointed out a combination that fulfilled my desires and added a little extra. And it was a great recommendation. I had basted eggs, bacon, and French toast. My husband had the Chickichinga which looked amazing. A crepe like egg with chicken, veggies, sauce and cheese. It came with potatoes that weren't like your everyday breakfast taters. They were well seasoned. He also had the pumpkin pancakes, which as the server said, needed no syrup. Breakfast on Saturday was our first visit. Yes, it's a chain, but has a nice local feel. Service was great and the concept and recipes are solid and interesting. Lots of fresh ingredients and innovative offerings. We both had omelets which are the type where the basic eggs are cooked and folded over the stuffing rather than mixed before cooking or added while cooking the eggs. Only real complaint: That's all OK and the eggs were fine, but in both cases the stuffing was lukewarm. Not awful, but could be better. I hope they were not pre-prepped and stored at that temperature. We'll go back, but will be very specific with the management. read more
