This cafe is large and can seat a lot of people. However, I wasn't impressed by the food once brought. It all tasted okay. The nice thing is their drip coffee selection. You get a mug and fill your cup with whatever you want to try. Service was sub-par even though including us there was 3 groups seated. The waitress did not check on us, fill up waters, and passed by us multiple times.

Pretty decent breakfast spot! My friend and I stopped by one morning and were seated immediately. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seating and inviting ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the loaded breakfast bowl with sausage and chorizo and my friend had the breakfast rellenos. Portions were big and both were yummy. They have a lot of specials: kids eat free on certain days and times, unlimited coffee bar, happy hour, etc. Will be back soon.

In a word, delicious! Cafe Brazil has been a DFW mainstay forever and this location was hopping on a Sunday. They're not one of the 24 hour locations but still open pretty late for the burbs. My Build Your Own Crepe (with roasted poblano pepper, onions, jack cheese and bacon) was yummy and filling and came with some tasty toast! I can never turn down sweet potato fries if they are on a menu, and those were also great. My brother just got a Snickerbar latte but said he liked the drizzle of chocolate and caramel. Our waiter was busy but still remembered to check on us. Come early and enjoy their broad menu!

It takes a lot for me to give a 1 star review but cafe Brazil earned it. Where do I even begin? I came here with my beautiful pregnant wife and toddler. It took over an hour to get our food. If there are two people in the world to not make wait an hour for food it is a pregnant woman and toddler... Not only that, during that hour we were not checked in on once, communicated with about the wait, offered anything, nor even had our waters refilled. I mean come on. I understand you can be having kitchen troubles but you have to at least come by and say something. Instead we were just avoided completely and left to wait, never sure what was happening. At one point during this time I was up walking around with my toddler and the manager was walking the other way. As we approached a narrow gap between tables he actually sped up to try and beat me to getting through it and would have hit me if I didn't quickly dodge to the side. I don't know maybe you shouldn't be almost crashing into people and kids just because you feel rushed. Another group came in after a long wait eventually got their food to go and left. We overheard they ran out of potatoes from our waitress telling someone else so that's the only way we got an update. Once we got our food it was fine. The texas feast could definitely use more potatoes and bacon to feel more like a feast, but taste was okay. Still never got a water refill even after getting food, check, etc. Prices have gone up lately making it not really feel worth the cost, especially with the experience we had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside cafe Brazil used to be more fun as well with better decor. Felt a bit bland and lacking this time around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Have been coming here for 10+ years but I think it's time to move on.

It would have been nice to be acknowledged by the many staff members who were there when we walked in but that's all fine. But to not be acknowledged for a good 3-4 minutes while there were two tables with customers in the entire place, and then not be seated for another couple of minutes while some of the workers were twiddling their thumbs behind the bar was a little painful to be honest. Half of our table's order was good and the other half was bad. I will cut to the chase and say don't get their loaded breakfast bowl. It had an ocean of oil sitting at the bottom of the bowl. Every time I took a bite I felt like I was eating spoonfuls of oil from a warmed up pan. The dish also had tons of old and dry green onion as garnish and it just didn't work for me. I did end up sending this back but service was so slow that I didn't get to replace it. Ended up just having a protein shake I brought from home. The chicken crepes were good, though. The crepes had a nice texture, it wasn't falling apart. The chicken and veggies were cooked well and the spicy sauce on top had a tiny little kick that was just perfect. It also came with potatoes and toast on the side which were also good. The most important thing that brought us back here was the coffee bar with unlimited refills and THAT was worth it. They had seven flavors total - two of those were decaf and one was a dark roast. It is October and they brought out their holiday blend coffee which I highly recommend. Some other flavors they had were Brazil select, bourbon pecan (reg and decaf), snickerdoodle, holiday blend (also in a decaf), and Kilimanjaro dark. We sat outside and the tables were pretty old and gross looking but I guess that happens sometimes. The waitress was not really around and we were never even told about the seasonal menu that was posted on a board inside. That was disappointing to find out later as we checked out but I guess it will bring us back to try it next time. Generally I still recommend this place because although the food may be hit or miss, their coffee bar is really fun and worth it. Not to mention the quirky feel of the place and plentiful amounts of parking. *Don't forget to ask for a to-go cup and grab yourself that one last cup of coffee of your choice for the road!

Attentive staff. Fresh food. Kids eat free tonight. Music coming from the kitchen is pretty loud and louder than what is playing in the dining area. In check.

Classic Breakfast eggs over easy, 3 strips bacon and pancrepes with raspberry cream sauce. Also a "Snickers Bar" flavored latte.

I've been coming to Cafe Brazil for years. The menu stays per much the same, but they always add seasonal choices with breakfast, lunch and drink offerings. They have delicious bottomless coffee and even odder a to-go cup of coffee. There's lite Mexican music playing in the background. The staff is always friendly and professional. This is a great place for brunch, lunch, dinner or just to kick back and relax for awhile. Kids eat free Sunday-Thursday 5:00-10:00 pm with purchase of adult entry.

This is not the Cafe Brazil from the days of old. If this review was just about the coffee, then the coffee is consistently great. It was a treat to have a holiday blend on the bar (totally out of season but I like the spice undertones). I was extremely disappointed about the dine in meal. I ordered the classic breakfast with an order of hash brown casserole. The breakfast was brought to the table, I asked about the casserole (twice). They are working on it. I waited 15 minutes for the hash browns to come to the table. My other food was cold. I had to take the remainder to-go. I expressed by dissatisfaction of the delay to the server and another person in charge. An apology was made without excuse (no excuse needed). I held up my end of the deal with paying the entire ticket with a healthy cash tip. I will not be back. It was a small oversight to some. I stand on that there are a dozen other breakfast diners in the area. I chose this place and will not make the mistake again due to this experience.

Cafe Brazil was born in Dallas around 30 years ago. Starting with a single location, they quickly made a mark as passionate food purveyors. They now have 6 plus restaurants in the area with an amazing consistency. Serving Breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can close your eyes pick an item and be sure you will like it. An interesting mashup of ingredients and cooking styles served in an eclectic laid back atmosphere. If you haven't sample Cafe Brazil, get over there ASAP! Definite go! I recommend the Brazilian Breakfast or the Gordo Crepes

Skip the food here just order the mimosas. Service wasn't great. We sent back the huevos rancheros & weren't even asked what was wrong with them or asked if we'd like to order something else. I don't mind paying for another meal but now we have to make an additional stop on the way home. They were flavorless & trasted like shredded chicken with egg. No seasoning - just no. I didn't get to try their coffee blends today but historically they've always been good- in college I would always visit the Denton location. They are taking social distancing into account - that's good. The menus are pretty. The presentation of the food is pretty. It comes out quick. But i wouldn't recommend it for consumption. Where's the seasoning? Or smiling waitress at that? Everyone else helped us throughout our dining EXCEPT our waitress, Madison. It was really off putting we felt pushed off because all the other tables were being helped by the same waitress their whole meal. What did we do wrong? That's how it made us feel. Also they only offer plum jam - no other options. Disappointed. Also notice how the customer service person Allison only responds to the positive reviews...that's not a good look. Xo.

A heavy meal of disappointment. Ordered and requested a meal with no walnuts and sister took one bite of the Fruit Pancrepes and got an allergic reaction. They took a long time to cook, they were understaffed saturday during lunch around 1pm. took ~20 mins to get our food. Chicken bacon and waffles were $14 so we wanted to start with a big meal. * chicken: flavorful yet dry * bacon: Salty * Waffles: pretty good texture *eggs: decent Fruit Pancrepes $9.99 were a huge disappointment while I was eating it, it was dry, too eggy; fruit was kinda just there some fresh some starting to age, there was a large amount of fruits tho. I would rather go to Ihop knowing their stuffs gonna be even slightly better.

DFW is massive. My friend was 30 mins late, but I wasn't trippin. I used that time to charge my phone and get a little work done. We didn't have a resy, but were seated right away. First of all, this place is massive. We both started with the espresso martini before realizing they had a happy hour menu. Our second drink was from the hh menu even though we had no business having a second cocktail. To start, we shared the fried green tomatoes. For whatever reason, we both ended up getting the western burger. Food was great. There was so much of it that I was only able to finish half and ended up taking the rest home. Great service as well. The place was crowded by the time we left. We only planned to stay for 45 minutes, but ended up staying for nearly 2 hours. Big thanks to the bartender. I went back to the airport a little tipsy after 2 drinks.

Clearly a popular spot. We shared an appetizer, a steak, sides, and a dessert between us 3. - Fried Tomatoes (appetizer): not bad! Light, not greasy at all, and that savory sauce on top was yummy: - Wagyu Tomahawk: the star of the show. Loved the peppered crust which was full of flavor. Not a true "Japanese wagyu" texture, but still an excellent steak overall. - Sides (mashed potatoes, fries, broccolini, cornbread): All pretty good across the board. I liked the cornbread the most and wished there was more of it. Usually a side of cornbread is much more substantial and comes with honey butter. - Steak sauce: we ask for a side of this. Whatever they had was unique and great. Fruity and tangy, a great complement to the tomahawk. - Pecan Pie: look at the photo! A huge, tall slice. No notes. Loved the dense ice cream on top. Perfect way to end the meal. Overall: no critiques, just an all-around great dinner. Definitely recommend the tomahawk and pie.

We went in on a Sunday afternoon so it was not too busy at the time. My girlfriend and I like to be seated at a "low top" because she has back issues with climbing up into higher seating. We don't mind waiting for that as inside "low tops" are limited. The hostess was very nice, as they always are. She took us to the middle of the venue to seat us and then walked away while we were waiting on our server. I stood up to walk around the table so that I could sit next to her instead of across from her. She stood up to move over and pulled out the chair next to her so she could sit back down. At that moment the new general manager walked up, and without offering any explaination, took the chair out of my girlfriend's hand and said, "We need this table for another party." He walked away and left us standing there without offering us another solution, and apology or calling the hostess over to seat us elsewhere. We were left standing there dumbfounded and looking around unsure of what to do. We started walking back toward the front of the venue as we spotted another open "low top" near there. At that same time the female hostess saw what had happened to us, and she started to walk toward us. Meanwhile, another male server - acting as host - seated some people at the new table we were about to get to with the hostess. We got mad and said, "it feels like someone is playing a game on us!" The hostess apologized as she could see we were aggitated. It was not her fault, and we do not blame her. We blame the rudeness of the general manager. We left to go eat somewhere else. This is not the first incident with this general manager, though. A few days prior, we were eating in there and had a good vantage point of one of the side kitchen entries off to the left of the bar toward the ffront half of the venue. A bus boy sloshed water all over the floor while moving wet dishes in a container back into the kitchen. He didn't have a chance to clean it up because he was buy walking back and forth doing other things. No big deal. The general manager walks up and proceeds to yell at another female server about the water who had absolutely nothing to do with the spill After she walks away, he did not take any real care to clean the spot up himself. He comes back after a minute to clean it up but not with a mop or anything. He takes two towels off the bar and mushes it around on the floor with his foot. He , then, proceeds to kick the wet towels under the bar before walking away. Talk about a safety and hygene issue. This kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. He does not treat his venue or his staff very nicely. We wantedd to get up and tell the other female server that we were sorry for her. This venue would be great if they would fire this rude and sloppy general manager. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite venues to go to all the time. The experience is starting to feel cheapened and sullied now.
