Love THIS first watch in particular. The food is always prepared well and the service is great. Tbh I'm pretty "basic" as some would say and "The Trifecta" is my fav thing on the menu. Only giving this two stars because the food is always delicious. Went in today with my mom and the server was horrible. She could barely answer any questions we had and my mom is on a very strict diet and didn't even care to ask management or kitchen staff about our questions. Just kept saying "I think" we went with an easy option just to be safe. The food was taking a little long and I asked her how much longer it might be and she responded with "people have waited around 40 minutes so you can wait longer" she mentioned that the kitchen staff had an emergency she even asked if we wanted to leave and no longer wait and didn't apologize once. I don't mind if there's an issue but at least inform your table so we are not wondering. She dropped off the food finally after about 45 minutes of waiting and was very rude. This was a very nice place to have a weekday brunch with friends. It was quite full at the 11:30 a.m. hour. I loved it from the moment we walked in. We were warmly greeted by the manager and advised they had only been open for a week. We were immediately seated. My sister and I explained it was our first time visiting a First Watch restaurant. The waitress/hostess greeted us and gave us several suggestions and favorites since it was our first visit. My other friend recommended the lemon curd pancakes because she had gone to one of the other locations. You absolutely must have the "Morning Meditation" juice!!! I loved the ambience rather rustic, but relaxing. The management and servers were wonderful and did a fantastic job! The food was absolutely delicious. The pancakes were very light and fluffy (more than enough for 2 people to share) with creamy lemon curd and fresh strawberries!! Everything was fresh. I had the Bacado with home fries!! I ordered the avocado toast served with eggs. Two slices of whole wheat bread with enormous amount of avocado with perfect pouched eggs . We also ordered the whole grain pancakes with blueberries I was a little disappointed with the pancakes. I was hoping it would be more grainy it was for just like like regular pancake. I've been going to this location regularly but the last couple of times I've been here. The service has been pretty bad. I arrived around 11am today and although there was a waiting list, I was seated fairly quickly (in about 10 minutes). The problem came after I placed my order. I waited patiently but the time just dragged on. No further acknowledgement from my waitress. The final straw was when after over 20-25 minutes of waiting, I watched as people who had been seated after me were being served their meals. Again, I was unable to locate my waitress, so I called the manager over, who was also working the tables. I expressed my frustration to him over the wait time and that patrons who came in after me were already being served. He left and told my waitress who only then came over to acknowledge me and apologize for the delay. I wouldn't have complained but the same thing happened to me at this location the week prior, but before I could complain, my meal finally came out, so I left it alone. I currently am a manager in the customer service industry and have managed staffs of over 30 people. I have always emphasized to my employees the importance of acknowledging an unhappy customer. I tell them the worst thing you can do is hide from an upset customer. It only makes it worse. I live in close proximity to three First Watch locations. So I always thought a First Watch was a walk-in clinic for some reason (it's definitely not). Turns out, it's like a modern Cracker Barrel without the ridiculous store but with way better food. The Plantation one just opened up and seating was limited due all the rage of a new restaurant option, but the digital waitlist is literally texted to you and you can see exactly where you stand (or sit if you find a bench). So if "Jones, party of 3" doesn't show up when called-- no need for a search party, you're probably next. This little detail of organized seating is a huge plus, as Cracker Barrel always lets some less-starving family get a table before me even though I know I signed in first. Woah, maybe that's why they call it "First Watch"? Anyways, service was okay throughout, as she seemed really busy (which she was). Had to wait 5 minutes for an orange juice I ordered after the fact (which is my fault because I originally ordered just coffee). Worth it though because they're super pulpy with their fresh OJ. Lot of people don't like pulp, but that's literally absurd. Whoever was making the OJ that day could have used a strainer, but he was probably a "YOLO" type of guy which is great for fresh beverages. If only bartenders poured the same way... Anyways, apparently they are only open for breakfast and lunch, but 90% of the menu is breakfast/brunch items. I can't stop wondering now what my waitress does for the other half of her day. Probably hangs out with the OJ guy and dominates the town, at least I would. I ordered the "chikichanga" which was a chicken breakfast burrito and it was insane. Literally, as I was eating it I felt people were watching me due to the sounds I was making (close to When Harry Met Sally type stuff). But whatever, you only live once right? (ask the OJ guy). Can't wait to go back now that I know it's not a medical clinic and they won't give me shots. Speaking of shots, would've given them 5 stars if they served alcohol with their brunch menu. I've been to this location twice before reviewing because I genuinely wanted to love it. The interior is great and I love the ambiance. The service was just OK each time. My friend and I had to call the server over and remind her about getting us water and then again for a refill. Additionally, the food is extremely mediocre. Everything sounds so appetizing on the menu and when it arrives it's just not good. In my opinion, the food is extremely lacking in flavor. Additionally, during my second visit I ordered pancakes and when I was about half way through I noticed there was a small piece of paper cooked in the middle of my pancake... I'm assuming it was a wrapper or small paper that just accidentally fell into the batter but still gross! I definitely won't be coming back here and you should also do yourself a favor and pick a different breakfast/brunch place. There are tons of delicious options in the area! read more

Great food. Their banana pancakes were so big and delicious in flavour, my husband loved it. Portions were bug enough for us to each share the plate, whether the omelet or the heaping avocado toast.
