This is the 3rd time in 6 months I've endured horrible service. The food was worse. Sad thing is: they know it, but don't bother to improve. The 1st time - I ordered a Bloody Mary the waiter came, poured half the carafe -then waltzed away with the rest. 2nd time: waiters & waitresses walked around me for an hour like I was totally invisible. 3rd time (this am); I swear "chef" just scraped other people's leftover, stale eggs onto my plate, then slapped a cold slice of cheese, on top, barely melted. And what restaurant doesn't have American cheese?! The toast was completely cold, grits lumpy & swimming, literally SWIMMING in melted butter. It was so gross. It's been years since I've been here and they renovated this place. Looks like the one on Muddy Branch location. I kind of miss the old ambiance. Since my fav breakfast spot, Woodside Deli, closed this will be my new spot to eat some breakfast. The food here is consistently good and was very satisfied with my food. Good kids menu as my little one enjoyed her bacon and egg. For their breakfast potatoes, ask them to be extra crispy. Long wait, for our food to come. Once it came, I was utterly disappointed with the presentation. My friend was disappointed with her meal as well. I love biscuits n gravy, however mine were dry. Usually there are somewhat flaky and soft. As for the gravy, almost cold. The potatoes were overcooked. Only edible item was my side of bacon. The service was bad. I understand restaurants can get busy, especially weekends. Our server, not once checked on us. Even though she was at the next table, ushering away plates. After today, this is my last time. My friend and I wanted to grab some brunch and stopped by here on a weekday late morning. We had a wonderful server who augmented the otherwise lackluster food experience. She cared enough to give me the fruits I wanted in my fruit cup and my coffee made decaf separately. That made a big difference in my impression of the place. Upon entering we see a clean and rustic interior that give off a homey and relaxing atmosphere. My main entree was the Tri-fecta with a side of fresh seasoned potatoes and a glass of orange juice. The bacon was crispy and the eggs were seasoned perfectly. The waffles were good with the syrup & jelly and the side of potatoes combine with ketchup is a match like no other. I would like to give a shout out to my server Erick because he is very nice and made sure all our needs were met. I also how when they bring out the check to pay that everything is already split between each person who ordered, making it is easy to pay separately. Much much better than the last time I visited! I loved the million dollar bacon and cinnamon roll. The staff were friendly and the check in waitlist system was easy to use. Cinnamon rolls: REALLY sweet. Not for the faint of heart, but I loved it! It also heats up well the next f day. Million dollar bacon: also really sweet Butternut squash soup: was a little too squashy and felt like it was missing something. I added some nutmeg to it when I took it home for leftovers and that helped. Chicken salad melt: I enjoyed a break to the sweet things here. Wonderful first visit to first watch!! Very easy to find and parking garage B is very close to the venue. The range of different items on the menu was incredible. I never felt like the breakfast food had a fast food or a diner, taste. It felt like I was eating fine dining breakfast. I was incredibly impressed with the number of very unique beverages on the menu even though my food allergy prevents me from having most of them because they contained lemon and lime but that shouldn't stop you from having them and enjoying them. I enjoyed a wonderful, blueberry pancake and the works omelette. We also ordered turkey sausage gravy that was definitely amazing (a little late on the turkey, but amazingly tasty item on their expensive menu. I enjoyed how fresh all of the items were and I definitely had enough to take home and enjoy a second round. The portions are wonderful the bottom less coffee is some thing you have to take it advantage of with the flavored creamers, and the plenty of sugar options on the table. Shout out to Connie for the wonderful service and for making sure my food allergies were all checked and my meal was safe to eat. They took forever to make the food and our delivery time kept changing. Finally, we get our order and one of the dishes is completely incorrect (they must've given us someone else's food). I can't eat meat due to health reasons and the dish was a meat hash type thing so couldn't eat any of it. Had to just eat a yogurt at home for breakfast after waiting an hour and a half. Full disclosure: we came on a busy Sunday morning. We put our names in for the wait list and the hostess said 45 minutes to an hour. Because we had a bunch of little kids, we started walking to a nearby playground when after 15 mins we got an alert that said that we were up next for seating. Very surprised, we turned around and started heading back. I then got an alert that said our table was ready and if we didn't claim it within 2 minutes then we would lose our place. 2 mins! I texted back to say we were on our way. We of course didn't make it back in time and explained to the hostess who just shrugged and said we had given up our place in line and they would have to put us back on the wait list. This seems like a very inefficient system. We had to go back outside with the kids and wait some more until I got another text. We then had to wait in line for several minutes just to get up to the hostess, and luckily didn't lose our place this time. Once we were finally seated, we had a very nice server (Leon). We got drinks and ordered within a reasonable amount of time, but there was a wait for the food. We understood since it was busy. But then only half of our plates came out of the kitchen for a full 5 minutes, so we had some very whiny kids without food. Our server apologized, and it seems like the kitchen doesn't complete full table orders prior to bringing the food to the table. Once we got our food, we were happy campers but it definitely did take some stress to get there. The waffles were great, but the eggs and bacon ordinary. The waffles came with blueberry compote and didn't need syrup and were light and fluffy. Coffee was solid and I like that they put a pitcher of it at your table. I tried the Banana Granola Pancake which is now my favorite pancake. The Monterey Club was great as well. I personally do not like mayo so they were able to remove it. The wait was about 20 mins or so. As soon as we sat down our server was very attentive. Our food came out relatively fast. This location had a lot of sitting so the waiting was not to long. Here are some detailed reviews of what I tried: Elevated Egg Sandwich (5/5) Our waitress recommended the elevated egg sandwich and I loved it so much. Huge serving with potatoes, super runny and delicious yolk. The brioche bun is so soft and warm and the avocado creaminess with the crisp bacon really just brings the whole sandwich together. It was heaven. A.M. Superfoods Bowl (5/5) The chia pudding is so delicious. I was a bit nervous because looks wise the chia seeds are very intimidating. But it was so amazing! It was lightly sweet and had a very delicate flavor of coconut. The texture was soft and so light. Definitely recommend. Iced Coffee (5/5) I have a sweet tooth so my review may be a bit biased. You can make a reservation through their website if you're on a time crunch. The servers are extremely friendly from the second you enter. I usually order the French toast because it's something I'm too lazy to make at home. The small details here matter such as the slightly warmed syrup bottle they hand you once your food arrives. My coworker order the veggie burger and said it was one of the best he has had. I also got a side of roasted potatoes because who doesn't like roasted potatoes? Even the ketchup here is homegrown. I've never brought anyone here that didn't LOVE it. To top it off, they validate your parking for the first two hours.
