Went to First Watch with some friends for lunch. Ordered the Monterrey Club and it was really good, however I noticed halfway through eating it that there was no avocado on it. I mentioned it to the server and she offered to bring some avocado on the side but by then I was close to finishing. The "salad" that came with the sandwich was basically some spinach leaves. Ok, but it seemed like they forgot to put any dressing on it. Asked for and received some ranch dressing. Never got a refill on tea until we were done with meal and ready to leave. only about 4 other tables in restaurant occupied at the time. might go back and try the breakfast but for the price ($14 with tip) a little pricey. read more

I am going to start out saying that once we got our food, it was awesome and worth a repeat performance and to try more of the menu. Bottom line - the brunch food deserves 5 stars. I came in with my wife & son, with high expectations after reading the reviews and we left with mixed reviews only due to the front of the house and bill payment processes. We put our name in and waited 30 mins to be seated which shouldn't have bothered us, except yup suffer watching the front very inefficient operation. From the time we put our names in until we had food, was exactly an hour. Once it was time to pay the bill, you have to go up to the front hostess where she is pulling triple duty - taking people's names, seating people, cashing out customers, and occasionally satisfying other waiting customers' needs (ie I need water, etc). The hostess area is not that large so there was some people tripping over people for a bit. They need to have the servers cash out the tickets to reduce the traffic. Also, long waiting lines, but tables were sitting uncleaned for way too long. So the food was great, but unnecessarily waited too long due to inefficiencies. Very different menu, but everything is delicious. Today was my second visit, but I forgot to add a review the first time I was here. On my previous visit, I let my sister do the ordering. First off, I really enjoy the coffee. It's more "Dunkin" than "Starbucks", and they provide flavored creamers. She ordered one of the a quinoa bowls for me. That was different, as I have never tried quinoa for breakfast, and it was a pleasant change! Very tasty and filling. Today I was feeling more adventurous, and ordered the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the hollandaise sauce was nice and lemony. I wish there had been a tablespoon or so more! I suppose it's healthier this way. The pancakes are 8 year old approved, and that was a plain pancake - not even one of the fancy chocolate chip, carrot cake or banana topped ones! I like how the syrup is served nice and warm, even though it took us a minute to figure out how to use the bottle (hold it vertical). The guy who seated us was very patient and accommodating, as our party of 3 turned into 5, then ultimately ended up being 6. Prices are steep for breakfast. Juices are more along the lines of power drinks, and will set you back minimum $5, which is not bad on its own, but adds up with a meal. Terrible decision. An hour & a half total time for wait & food to arrive. Myself & my girls got our food, it took another 10 minutes for my husband to get his. I was more than half way done with my plate when his arrived. The food was great, service not so much. You can get good food at another restaurant with much better service. When we went to check out, we weren't even acknowledged, just given the total of the bill. Very unfriendly lady barking out orders to someone else. Looked very agitated. We won't be back. Would give zero stars if I could! Went there on Sunday for breakfast with our 2 kids mind you there was no wait at the time. Our kids Food took 45mins for kids waffle and eggs and bacon plate. Then mine and my wife's food came about 5 mins after that. Brought the wrong sandwich to my wife so took it back and we canceled that order. First Watch has a wonderful atmosphere, a lot of good choices of healthy, though not necessarily low calorie, meals, and the staff is friendly. One, however, better not be in a hurry when eating here because it takes a while to get your food. Even our server said she was going to check on our order because she knew it had been quite a while. It was a busy day when we ate here last, so that may account for some of the slowness, but in my opinion, businesses know that certain days will be especially busy and should staff accordingly. read more

This location was horribly managed. We went Sunday morning 2/11/18. 1. App states there was no wait. We get to the restaurant and guess what? The app isn't working right for everyone so we get in a 30 minute wait. 2. There were so many empty tables and staff scrambling around. We wait for 25 minutes (fair enough) and sit at a table that we stared at for 25 minutes that nobody cleaned. 3. Waitress was nice. 4. I joined there "e-club" and had a BOGO for our meal which our reason to go there. I get to the register and they tell me they can't accept it because it isn't printed out! Who doesn't accept coupons on phones in 2018. Cops accept insurance on your phone but the breakfast restaurant won't? 5. I spoke w the manager and he said if I didn't like it I could go somewhere else which is just great and what you want to hear on a Sunday morning after spending $30 on eggs and coffee. 6. Today I walked in to First Watch and wondered why on a Saturday morning there was no wait to be seated. As soon I interacted with my server it was clear to me. I asked for a water and she walked by the table set down a water jug and walked away with out a word. As I waited for my mother to arrive I noticed the restaurant was not very busy at all. I understand if it's busy it can be hard to provide great service but she did not smile once and acted like she would rather be anywhere else. I get it girl - as someone who works at a restaurant myself, sometimes you don't want to be at work but its not very hard to put a smile on your face and pretend. Especially when people are coming into the establishment to spend their money for a pleasant experience. My mother asked for her iced tea to go and when she asked for a straw we were told no by the busser and our server when other guests clearly had straws in their drinks. Alrighty then. Definitely wont be back again. I'd rather wait 30 minutes for a table at snooze ;) read more

Favorite brunch spot around town. My girlfriend and I go every couple of weeks and are never disappointed. It may be off putting to some that No alcohol or mimosas exists here but the food makes up for it in how fresh and delicious it is! I only knock off one star because it's usually busy however you can put your name in the waitlist ahead of time and save yourself a wait! Service can be slow during the peak busy hours but it's okay cause the food never comes out cold! Plus regardless of pace the staff maintain a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. I should say that I preferred Egg and I food and service. My first visit to FW was right after the change. The food was not too good. My husband had biscuit and gravy and could not eat it, too salty and biscuit was hard. I had an eggs Benedict dish and it was just ok. It was served with a tiny salad which was ok but not for breakfast. The service was lacking but that could be a learning curve. Im giving this place 4 stars because I want to love it that much (should have given it a 3 but it was mostly just due to service). The first impression was "mehhhhh" Food was good and fresh, decor was great, it was clean...but I could tell the tables had been wiped down with a soured towel and that smell is just off putting! My family tells me my nose is way to sensitive so ok, we will let that pass. We waited way to long for the food. We got the lunch "2 for you" great price!! Small salad and 1/2 sandwich. I loved my salad and sandwich. My son who is not into this type of food actually liked his, my friend loved the salad but did not like the sandwich (it was the one with Havarti cheese). It was the service at our table that was the worst. The waitresses kept coughing over her shoulder but there were tables behind her. She didn't come back for long periods of time and only refilled the water when asked. I'm going to give it another shot, and let the wait staff get in a grove then try again. Food is decent. Service is poor. Terrible execution. Waited 45 minutes for a to go order. It was not THAT busy, but the wait staff and hostess were clearly flailing and stressed and couldn't seem to keep it together. It was unprofessional. The hostess station is also where you pay, which seems to be an inefficiency and made the small wait space upfront seem even more hectic. I saw several groups turned away because the kitchen was backed up. Overall the food wasn't worth the excessive wait. They clearly don't know how to handle a rush yet. Maybe wait a while and hope they work out the kinks. They gave me a gift card when I left as a consolation ... which is better than nothing, but means I'd be forced to go back, which I'm not inspired to do at the moment. read more

They served me regular French toast when I asked for the Floridian French toast, they charge our entire table for coffee when only one of us ordered coffee, and they were short on avocado so they thought it would be cool if they saved it for other orders instead of putting it on my friends skillet (the menu said with avocado so you should put avocado on the plate). read more

We were so excited to try First Watch today. I ordered the Million Dollar Bacon, which was fantastic. For my entree I ordered the short rib eggs Benedict. When it came to the table I was beyond excited. The first bite was perfect. Then, I took another fork full, and a huge moth was mixed in the sauce. I immediately called over the waitress, who giggled and said, "Oh that's gross" and asked if I would like a new one. I tried the new one, but was too unsettled from the first experience to eat it. I was shocked when the bill came back at full price. When I questioned the waitress about it, she seemed surprised that we expected some form of discount. I requested to see the manager, who hadn't even been told about the situation by our waitress. She immediately comped the meal and gave us a coupon for a free meal. I was just so disappointed in the unsanitary conditions, as well as the poor handling of it afterwards. We will not be returning or recommending to others. read more

After 1 hr of waiting for or food we had to call someone else to go check for our food. We also noticed there was more people that had been waiting and never were checked up on. This used to be the location of the Egg & I. I'm so used to walking into the place that when I was seated I realized this was a new restaurant. The menu was similar to the Egg & I so I ordered the waffle, sausage and egg combo. The service was outstanding and the coffee was great. The lady that took my order had to let me know about the 20 different types of juices they have, but I just wanted coffee. The food came out quickly on a large rectangle plate that totally overwhelmed the food. The one sausage link was placed beside the runny scrambled eggs. The waffle was like cardboard and even with syrup, which is hard to get out of the syrup jar, didn't help the taste. From the other reviews, I guess this place is fashionable, but not my cup of tea. When I go out for breakfast, I like a man size meal, not three items strategically placed on an oversized plate for presentation purposes. And FYI, the Egg and I acknowledged our military with a discount - this place doesn't. I'll be looking for a new place for breakfast. read more
