    Food after my 5K. 08.03.2025
    Trisha W.

You know what is great after a 5K? First Watch. My Elevated Egg Sandwich hit the spot?! 10.11.2025

    Floridian French Toast
    Mark V.

We came early in the morning, and I went straight for the Floridian French toast. I have not had it before, but as I've gotten used to it lives up to First Watch's reputation--legit. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you're easing into the day. Now, I'll admit I've gotten a little bougie with my coffee lately, so I skipped it this time. I just prefer my home brew--no shade to theirs. One thing worth mentioning: it was cold inside. I think it was the lack of bodies that made the space feel extra chilly, and honestly, it made it harder to fully enjoy the meal. So if you're heading there early, bring a jacket... or a blanket, I'm just saying.

such a cute brunch spot!!! large menu with a lot of choices. i got the farmhouse hash which was so yummy! i also got a side of pico which paired very well. the kale tonic was really good too. a lot of really great choices as everything was great! thank you!

Usually one of our favorite brunch spots, however, last visit was a tad underwhelming. We were in a large group, and the consensus was it was "fine", but no one was truly impressed. Some remarks were: burger patty too small, breakfast tacos had tons of ingredients but not very flavorful, 1 plate and 1 glass were not clean.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants! I stopped in recently and tried their new juice and it was incredibly refreshing! I also love how they change up the menu with seasonal options; it keeps every visit exciting and fresh. The food is always beautifully presented, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and consistently delicious...definitely one of those places you can always count on for a good experience! They have multiple locations and every one I've been to has been good!

    Farmhouse Skillet Hash

The food is always fresh and cooked just the way I asked. My favorite part about the Farmhouse Hash is their roasted tomatoes from Turkey. Our waitress was very sweet. In fact when I asked her about the tomatoes she made the extra effort for me and found out what First Watch uses. I like the ambience as the restaurant can seat many people without making you feel like you're sardined in. This is a breakfast favorite of mine! My only suggestion would be to start a rewards program.

I came here for breakfast and had a good experience overall. The receptionist was friendly and respectful, and the service while ordering was also kind, professional, and attentive. The food was good; however, the home fries were a bit overcooked -- a few pieces were burnt and too crispy to eat. Other than that, the place is very nice and well-organized.

Food is great but they're extremely short staffed and it makes me kinda mad bc I tried working here by applying online and speaking to different managers Whatever Service sucks

I've been coming here for years and it's always been one of our classic breakfast spots in Tampa, especially when I'm craving pancakes. The service is quick and food is reliable. Today I tried the AM Superfoods Bowl and we split a pancake stack.

    Special with burnt ends.

Nice restaurant. Awesome food. I usually go to the one on Fowler, but we decided to check out this location. The only thing is that the tables seem a little cramped. The waitress was nice but seemed a little forgetful. We got a coffee pot with fresh coffee, but no cups. When the waitress came with cups, she started to pour our coffee. I looked and the glass was barely filled half way. There was no half and half in the creamer bowl. I asked for that when I realized and was sitting waiting. Hence 4 stars instead of 5.

This is my second time coming to this place and I have nothing but positive things to say. Love having brunch on the weekends with friends or girlfriend. Service is quick and food is delicious will be coming here more for aure

This is one of our go-to breakfast/brunch spots in the Tampa area. The food is always amazing, we've never ordered something and not enjoyed it...and we've tried a good variation of things from the menu over time. I always love their hash or skillet options, especially when there's a holiday menu out - don't skip on this! The service is always friendly and on point, we consistently feel well taken care of when we dine at First Watch. It's a popular spot and more often than not you'll see people crowded at the door or waiting for a seat, but the wait has never been excruciating enough for us to leave, the staff seems pretty on top of it. The restaurant always looks pretty tidy for how busy it is as well, it gets a bit louder as the restaurant fills up and people are coming and going, but we can always hear our party at our table without disruption, so I'd say it's solid all the way around.

    The kitchen is busy.

Exceptionally fresh food, with unique options, and a great friendly staff. The food is always as good, if not better, than it looks!

However - this place is killer. I've tried several lattes and the cold brew, and they are phenomenal. I've brought people coffee from here, and each person has agreed that it's some of the best we've had in Tampa recently. The ambiance is interesting - it's in a kitchen store. But it works! The team is so great, and the shop currently has some of my fave baristas from formerly open shops. They're awesome! I highly recommend stopping in.

Inside this winding housing development, you'll find a small shopping plaza-gasoline on one end, dry cleaners on the other... and in between those bookends, a string of small businesses. And behind the door with all the flowers around it: Perfect Press Coffee. It's a hopping and popping kind of place. I've been there twice in the last year-and it's busy. It's a fun mix of neighborhood moms with strollers-people stopping on the way to or from work-and a few remote work workers-who thrive in the happy buzz of a booming business. To the right when you walk in: coffee, tea and sweet and/or savory small bites. There's bench seating along the wall, several small tables and two little couches in the middle. The decor is cute, cozy, modern and slightly caffeinated. It's not a huge place but it's super popular. There are tables out front on the sidewalk, too. It's busy, but the skilled baristas keep things moving. On this most recent trip, I tried the ube matcha-my first. I liked it! There were lots of tempting pastries, etc-but I had a lunch date coming up, so I stuck to just the beverage. If you decide to stop in, bonus: this business shares space with a fun kitchen store that has everything from gourmet salts and oils-fun towels and mugs-and all sorts of other items. I should have bought the cola flavored candy bar. Next time! Yes, the parking lot is a little hectic-but be patient, it comes and goes in waves-you'll get a spot. Oh! And really nice restrooms. This is worth a stop and shop. I'll be back for round three.

The staff... both the guy with the tablet who took my order while I was in the drive-thru line-and the gal at the window-were so warm, friendly, chill and helpful. I'd go back just to bask in their positivity! But kindness isn't the only thing on the menu. There's coffee, tea, plant-based energy drinks, Italian sodas... and dozens (I think 75) of flavors you can add to them. In a fist visit, I usually start with chai tea latte... but today I asked for suggestions and ended up with a hot hibiscus tea with added pear flavoring. It was so floral and different! Hello new year! This knocked "the usual" on its head. I'm not sure that it will end up being my favorite offering here, but yeah... here's to shaking things up! I also tried the rainbow bagel-which was pretty and tasty. I liked the chew. Next time I'll try the strawberry cream cheese with it. There are filled croissants, too... but I forgot to ask about the flavors-and you can get mini donuts, too. White Duck was founded by a couple of Seattle transplants, who wanted to bring the "two windows in a shed" model of Pacific Northwest coffee shops to the Bay Area. And that's exactly what this is-a drive thru-no indoor seating-and I didn't see any outdoor tables, either. This is grab and go. But there's parking behind the building, if you want to sit and savor a bit. The shop is way up on North Dale Mabry-near Van Dyke-on the east side, right next to a Wendy's. It wasn't busy when I first got there but there at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning, but it soon picked up. I can see why... it's so convenient and the staff is so nice. They really stand out. I can't wait to stop in again and try more! I read on the website that the owners lost a child to cancer and part of the proceeds from each purchase goes to research. Well now I just have to try all those 75 flavors! See you soon, White Duck!
