The pan roast tasted good, I liked the spices, very flavorful. It was however a little too spicy for my partner. The staff let us know that this batch was a little spicier than most batches. I thought the spice level was fine though. I think they kept a lot of the interior from the restaurant that came before them. A little sad that they're gone now though.

Cap't Loui not only is the best seafood…read moreboil restaurant around but also one of the best restaurants PERIOD. 5 star restaurant that includes 5 star food (shrimp, crawdads, garlic noodles, garlic bread, Cajun fries), 5 star cleanliness, and the most outstanding 5 star service you will ever receive. My wife and I consistently come to Cap't Loui for our beloved Friday date nights at least once a month. We are ALWAYS so impressed with the yummy food (we always get 2lbs shrimp/2lbs crawfish combo in Medium Cap't Loui sauce with garlic noodles, garlic bread, and Cajun fries). Wifey and I are stuffed after this but will cleanse our palate with complimentary popsicles in the freezer by the entrance. So yes, the seafood boil and food is absolutely phenomenal. But even MORE impressive is the generationally excellent customer service, in particular from Aung and Edward. I really like the seafood quality here, but sauce-wise, I prefer Cajun Bistro for the garlic butter sauce. Cap't Loui does not offer that sauce, but it was still delicious overall. Service is timely and our food came fast, so thats a big plus. Only complaint I have here is that I wish there was more sauce in the bowl.
