    a bowl of french fries
    Katrinia F.

The food here is delicious. The burgers are juicy and full of flavor. The fries are not your traditional fries but I love them. They are a bit pricey, but nonetheless, they are delicious. They have hotdogs as well. The staff here is always friendly and the restaurant is super clean every time I visit. I will warn you though there is a bit of a wait time. But once you get your food, you won't really care.

I ordered a burger plate with an extra pattie and it was pathetic. For the 18$ it cost me it should have had a much nicer presentation. And for that amount I thought fries were included but they weren't. Below you can see how much you get for your money. I definitely got ripped off. I would not recommend

Cherry Vanilla Coke, "Regular" fries, and a "Little Cheeseburger" - delicious! Oh, and Malt vinegar on the side for the fries

Although I do believe Five Guys is overpriced, I do enjoy their burgers and fries. I really love picking from the many toppings offered, especially the grilled jalapeños, and the fries are made from real potatoes and come out hot and usually with just the right amount of crispness. The staff at this location are always friendly and greet you when you come in. Oh, and can't beat free peanuts!

I don't go to Five Guys often because I hate myself afterwards. The burgers are excellent and the fries remind me of carnival fries. While you wait, you can munch on some roasted peanuts. Today, I had a "junior" cheeseburger with mayo, ketchup, lettuce, tomato and onion. This "junior" is a quarter pound burger, so it is not actually a "junior". Just smaller than their 1/2 pound burger. I was craving a juicy burger and this one hit the spot. My wife had a plain kosher hotdog. It was split down the middle and cooked on the frying grill. She said it was really good, but could not finish. We shared a "medium" fries. I use the word "medium" loosely because the bag was filled with fries. They are fresh cut from Idaho potatoes (they tell you what city and farm the potatoes come from). What's great about the fries, they have malt vinegar!!! Add some ketchup and oh boy do you have one tasty fry!!! I can't come here often because I am sure it is not healthy for you. But man is it good!!!

Great food ! But kinda pricey . Ordered two meals with shakes . To be honest kinda tastes like rally's burger. The shakes was loose and runny . They got my order wrong I asked for grilled onions came with none on my burger.

Food was great, but the young lady that delivered my curbside order looked like she didn't want to be there and as a result forgot my drink.

Doing a burger comparison today and wanted to compare smashburger and Freddie's…read more.. Order the Classic Smash with the scorching hot fries... The burger was great, juicy, and nicely flavored. All the ingredients were fresh and the quality of the burger was on top compared to other fat good burgers. I love the fries here because they are the skinny fries which ensures that are crispy.. tried the Scorching hot this time and to honest was not too impressed.. it was an oily sauce that didn't have much flavor and was between mild and medium on the heat scale.. The best spicy fries that Smashburger had was the ones they had in Houston texas a few years ago.. the fries were coated with a dry salty seasoning which really made the fries pop out, when compared to the oily ones they have now.... Back to my burger match.. Smashburger clearly wins when it comes to the burger itself.... Compared to the plain dry burger I had at Freddy's. Highly recommend if you are looking for a juicy burger and you want something a little better than the standard fast food places like Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King, etc ...

Food is normal smash burger you know what you're getting staff was rude as hell. I then saw the new special brisket bacon double and said hey how's the brisket here. The response I don't know what do you want to eat. Then once I placed my order she sat at a chair next to me and just scrolled through her phone??? Just a super weird experience 2/10 customer service would go to any of the other locations but here again.

My daughter really enjoyed her grilled cheese. The chicken fingers were more of the bread crumb breading compared to batter so it came off as she tried to break the chicken in half. I had the French dip. It was very good. My husband had the buffalo chicken wrap. He enjoyed it as well. We got the mozzarella sticks as appetizers and they were good. Not sure if they were worth the price but my daughter enjoyed them. I was a little disappointed because the pictures all showed beer battered fries and they came with crinkle fries. If we would have known that we wouldn't have paid for the up charge to get fries.

It's in the same group of buildings such as Michael's (around the corner). My visit here was on October 27, 2025. The outside view of the business is simple, but effective. They have a specials chalkboard next to the entrance. Parking wasn't an issue on this visit, but I'm sure it can fill up at busier times. My mom and I were both in the area as she wanted to go to the Michael's store here. When we came inside, it wasn't busy, as it was around 3:30 pm when we got here. We were greeted by the one who would be our server for this visit. He gave us menus to look at and asked us for our drink orders. I generally stick with water with lemon, which I did here. We were there during the time where it was still the lunch menu (though for us, it was more like dinner for us that day). When he came back with the drinks, he asked if we were ready to order, but we weren't just yet. He also asked if we had any questions about the menu and options and gave us more time to mull over the menu. When he came back, we weren't completely ready, but asked a question about the specials of the day. After that, we knew what we would get and placed our food order. My mom ordered the Meatloaf Lunch Special with mashed potatoes and spinach. I went with the Meatball Sub Lunch Special with mashed potatoes, though I don't normally do potatoes that often. After about ten minutes or so, the food came to the table. The food looked really good, and it was hot too. The bread for the Meatball Sub was very soft and easy to eat. The meatballs were huge and made for a worthy meal. The mashed potatoes with gravy was really good and fulfilling too. My mom loved the meatloaf, and their meatloaf doesn't have ketchup on it like some other places do. She loved the meatloaf, spinach, and mashed potatoes too. After we were done, he asked if we wanted any desserts. We both declined as I normally don't do them anymore. Overall, we both had an excellent experience here. The food and service were on point. The food I had that day did spike my blood sugars, but I expected that with bread and mashed potatoes. I don't make a habit of that though. They are a great local business. There are lots of food options to choose from. If you are looking for a place to eat while in this part of Chesapeake, this place is worth coming to.
