Typical Five Guys. Nothing special, nothing rings an alarm. I've gotten food from this location several times.

All the others would get at least 3 stars, but this place is the worst. Just yesterday I went there around the dinner hour. It wasn't busy, maybe two or three tables were used. I walked right up ready to give my order and no one was at the register. Two cooks ignored me and this went on for at least a minute before I asked if they could take my order. One of them turned around and looked at me then pointed to the grill suggesting he wasn't going to help. Still no one came out to take my order so I left. I won't go back to this location. It was never that great especially for the high price they charge. I can get a great Chick-Fil-A meal for half the price. read more

I was almost scared away from coming here because of the 3.5 star average at this location, but the free customizable toppings won me over and I'm so glad they did. The patties were juicy and tender; well cooked and not tough at all. Love the grilled mushrooms and grilled onions, and the ability to fully customize your burger right down to the sauces. I also really liked the fries, too. They are fried to just the right crispness but thick enough to be soft on the inside, unlike most other burger chains. Well, if you want an enormous, greasy cheeseburger with all the fixings, this is a place to go. I went here today, and ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with Cajun Fries. The thing about 5 Guys is that the portions are huge. A small fry can easily feed 3 people. The Burgers taste great. A couple of minor gripes: It's a llittle pricey, I wish they had shakes, and they have the Coke machines that don't get the mixes right when you use them. However, they are close to work, and I like Burgers, so I'll be coming back. read more

I came into 5 guys about 20 minutes after they opened. There were only 3 other people there. I ordered a little cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard and mayo. That's it, pretty simple right? Obviously not for them. I had already left by the time i unwrapped my burger so I couldn't complain/ask for a new one. So I ate mayo with a side of beef, bun, ketchup and the littlest bit of mustard. Absolutely love this place!! We get the junior bacon cheeseburgers and one order of fries (its plenty), that is a cheap meal and comparatively to other similar style places for this food the calorie count is like 400-600 less for each person. I will gladly pick this burger place for a to go order over anything else here in Issaquah. read more

Bought in to their marketing, so gave it a try, with the extensive self promotion inside, I'd expect more pride. It was a home style burger, not a lot different than the major chains but 2 times the cost. This location was apparently missing a broom and someone to wipe down tables, not a clean one in the place... Maybe it was packed earlier. read more

I love the burgers! These burgers are super juicy and tasty. I actually got up and ordered a second hamburger before I finished my meal so that I could have another one ready when I was done with my first hamburger. The line at the cash register was a bit slow, but not so much that I would take a way a star. The fries were more then enough to satisfy me, I actually think I got to many fries. read more

great burgers. Great fries too if you want to eat in the restaurant. My big complaint is that I like to order ahead using the app. the app works great but here is what I do not understand. If you order burgers and fries online, they make your burger ahead of time, but wait until you arrive at the restaurant to make the fries. This ensures you can never get a fresh burger and fresh fries in the same order. They claim they want to make certain your fries are fresh, but what good are fresh fries if you have to eat them with a sopping wet burger that has been sweating under a heat lamp for 20 minutes? read more

Their orders are almost always wrong. Tonight we ordered a double cheeseburger ' all the way' without ketchup.. We added peppers. The result--a double cheeseburger drenched in ketchup and mayo. Nothing else. I would not be writing this if this was atypical. Although we like the food-- their inability to get a simple order correctly, causes frustration, and reduces our desire to frequent the location. read more

I would not go to this place for foreseeable future. Ordered a carry out, one burger had nothing in it which is suppose to have double patty and cheese. A straight rip off. Make sure you check your burgers if order carry out. This happened to me twice - one with carry out one without. Be careful. read more

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for some burgers and hot dogs. The place was relatively busy, but we were able to find a table easily. The four of us ordered some burgers, hot dogs and fries. I do like the fact that you can have free peanuts while you wait, as well as endless options with the drink dispenser. However, I would agree with some of the other reviewers that the portions aren't that big here. At other Five Guys locations, if you ordered french fries, they would literally give you a double order, but not at this location. read more

Tasty burgers!! The fries were less than desirable. This place is going for "The Varsity" feel with the yelling and whatnot. The atmosphere inside is pretty tight quarters and you might find it hard to find a seat. They offer free peanuts in shells that you can serve yourself which is nice, but you got to try out the fountain soda machine, its all digital and has multi-flavor options. Like when you select coke or sprite for example, it moves the next screen and has vanilla, cherry and many more I can't recall but its cool. read more

Five Guys consistently serves great burgers. I prefer mine relatively plain, with cheese and bacon, not hidden beneath layers of condiments, and these don't disappoint. (Want lots of goop on your burgers? Go to Red Robin.) The "standard" burger is a double, so unless you're very hungry either get the "little" one or skip the fries. The fries are good too, as long as you don't let them get steamed in the sack (they get soggy). The portion size is way too big for a "regular" fry, so unless you are feeding an army a single order will do fine for the whole table. The biggest downside to this location: It's not big enough. While it's wide enough, it's not nearly deep enough. The store overall should be twice the size. Also, the music was too loud, making it hard to carry on a conversation. Please, crank it down a few notches. I prefer the Bellevue location to the Issaquah one - much more spacious. read more

By far my favorite burger joint. The portions are huge! My husband can usually eat a lot but the burgers with two patties is a little too much for him. I don't know why other reviews say they 'skimp' on the fries. Oh no. No they don't. A small fry here is like a large fry at McDonald's. America has ruined portion sizes and people easily complain about it not being enough! It's enough! Just go with it! I also like the fact that they have a Coke machine that has endless flavors! Whoop! That's a plus! If you're in a hurry, you may not want to come here. It's always 5+ minute wait depending on how busy it is. It's not 'fast' food. read more

This is the second time we've been to this Five Guys and it's hard to believe, but this is probably the worst Five Guys in the Puget Sound area. I don't know how they do it, but they do it poorly. The burgers were burnt around the edges, I mean crispy burnt and so were the fries, totally overcooked. The last time as well as this one, the place was a mess. The floor was covered in peanut shells, and there was debris on the tables form other customers. I like Five Guys and the one in Renton and the one at Four Corners are both great and always clean and the food has never been bad, but this Five Guys is batting a 1000 at being bad. read more

Good. Fast. Food. We had a baby with us and there was a long line. One of the girls out sweeping the floors immediately came up to us, complimented our little guy, and asked if she could get a table and high chair ready for us. We REALLY appreciated her help. After we got our food, she came by again and asked if she could get us anything. We were blown away with how helpful and friendly she was. (Girl with pink streaks in her hair). I will say that the seating arrangements in this place are pretty ridiculous. It's hard to move around, and there is no place to wait for your food if you're getting it to-go. I would suggest a bar along the wall and windows with stools. Also, the pop machines are a huge traffic-flow hindrance and would be better if they were moved across the room, away from the counters. People just don't get them, and the flavors are gross and syrupy. They create lines and backups where there isn't any space for it in the first place. Don't go out of your way for this burger. It seemed they were precooked, the bun was cold and the meat was dry and flavorless. There were signs all over saying that they had the best fries...I don't think so. They were undercooked. :( On the plus side, the service was good. Terrible experience here today. I put in a to-go order online. My total order was $46. I walked into the restaurant within 5 minutes of placing the order. I checked in at the counter and they said it would be ready shortly. Within a few minutes, they gave me a chocolate shake that was part of my order. After 10-12 minutes, I noticed that they were giving out orders to customers who came in after me. By this time, the shake they had given to me almost 10 minutes earlier, was completely melted. I went up to the counter and asked the status of my order. She pulled a bag off the shelf and I immediately said "how long has that been sitting there? I've been standing here 15 minutes?" She took my bag and said she'd give me new fries. I then asked again, how old is the rest of the order (because I had a long drive home). She ignored me and proceeded to give me new fries. I asked her again about why they let my order sit there and she went to get the manager. He listened to my complaint, but didn't respond. I grabbed my bag and left (abruptly- I was mad). The manager followed me out the door and said he was going to give me a gift card, and I told him not to bother as I won't be coming back. It was overall a terrible experience. I'm not sure why they waited until I was out the door to try to make things right. I felt completely ignored when I was inquiring with the woman who handled my items. I'd give this five stars but I personally like Red Mill better. The fries are FANTASTIC and you only need to order one serving for a table of four! Lots of wasted fries unfortunately. The burgers are huge - I usually get the smaller single patty bc the regular size is just too much. Pluses are: peanuts in the shell for the kids while you wait (DO NOT go here if you have a peanut allergy!), and freestyle coke machine. read more

The burgers are always pretty solid, they stay consistent. The thing about this location in Issaquah is that it can sometimes get pretty noisy in the place, there's big open seating which is nice. Other than that its your pretty standard burger place, they do a good job. I don't find the food to greasy or fattening and enjoy the majority on the menu. Really no items to be overly concerned about. I give it a three star because its not great but its not bad at all. Also I like the location, 12th ave Cafe is right next door and their place is great as well. Good eats all around town! read more

This is my first time going to a Five Guys Burgers and my last time. There seems to be a lot of hype around this chain and I can imagine why. It is a franchisee's dream, they must be raking in the profit! No wonder the promote the heck out of themselves... "Being number One Burger" in Washington Man Magazine according to the sign on their wall... couldn't even find that magazine on Google. I bought 3 burgers and a large fry for my kids (5 and 7) and I, with no drinks and it came to about $25. This isn't gourmet food, the buns are the same cheap buns that every other cheap burger joint uses, american cheese, the patties are thin so they cook them fast, and the fries are just cheap russets that are cut there. While the burger patties are probably better than Burger King, at least I can walk at of BK under $20 including drinks for me and my two boys. Bottom line is the value just isn't there. read more
