Ok. I gave it a try as I'm Californian and these are still rare there while In-n-Out is everywhere. And I hate to burst y'alls bubble - this doesn't even come close to In-n-Out. Was everything obviously fresh? Yes. Cooked well? The burger, yes. The fries? I tried the Cajun fries and while I liked the spices, most were limp and many were soggy! That's a fail in my book. There was also something very key missing from the burger - seasoning! There was almost none. And the cheese tasted a little off to me. Sorry, folks. I went to the Five Guys in McPherson and ordered a bacon cheese burger with everything except no mayo and added jalapeños, but when I got my burger it had mayo and no jalapeños, despite my receipt having my order written correctly. I was in a rush so I didn't have time to ask for my correct order. I really like Five Guys and have had great experiences with the ones in Courthouse and L'Enfant. This place used to be alright but now they allow their employees to sag while handling food. I'm disgusted. I just came from Five Guys and the guy handling the food has his entire butt outside of his pants. If you're in the mood for Five Guys, hold out for a different location. I've never seen a lazier, more miserable Five Guys staff in my life. I was under the impression that the Five Guys brand was about friendly, quick customer service, but I guess not. This location is filthy and the service was quite slow in spite of it not being busy. I didn't see any sweeping or tables wiped down in all the time I was there and staff did the bare minimum. My food took forever and my Cajun fries order was ignored. Worst experience ever. I hope this message reach owner of this place. It's time to change your manager. As a costumer I was pretty upset when manager asked us to leave, because they was closing. Manager and rest of the staff surrounded us and pushed me and my friends to eat faster and at the end they just kicked us out. ( Because it was one minute after 4:00 a.m ). RACIST towards Spanish speakers. DO NOT COME HERE. Beware of the Paul Blart security guard or "Special Needs Police". Super aggressive for no reason. Customer service is trash just like the quality of food. Cashiers are rude as hell like you're the reason they've never gotten laid. So basically get ready to have your night ruined! I paid for my meal and when my food did not arrive I presented my receipt to the manager and he immediately called security and accused me of stealing food. All because I told them I didn't receive my meal. I even paid for my second meal and the manager called security because he said "Spanish people steal all the time you need to watch him." They give you the most generous serving of fries anywhere! And they are hadncut fresh fries which makes them even better. The burgers come with 2 patties and you can get unlimited toppings at no extra charge. Only qualm is that they don't ask you how you would like the burger cooked...but besides that, the burgers are very juicy and the Cajun fries are amazing! read more

Of the Fancy Burger Places, Five Guys was one of the first, and remains one of the best... lots of space, good value for the money, and the touch screen coke machine is great. If you aren't going during business hours, it isn't that crowded... we went at 6pm on a Thursday, and had pretty much no wait. Decided to try five guys as a last resort because of the snow many places decided to close and this was near my office. Ordered a burger surprised it is over $10.00 for what I thought was a single (ended up being a double) They definitely assume you have ordered here before and customer service is at an extreme minimum. The lady told me I was number 35 (although I probably misheard her and I threw away my receipt.) After a couple of minutes they called orders 43, 44, and 45. Once 43 and 44 grabbed their food I was the only person who had ordered and had not received their food so I told the lady I thought she said 45 but I began looking at the ticket to see if it was mine. She quickly pulled the bag away as if I was stealing it and told me to repeat my order if I would like to receive it. The quick pulling away action and the abrupt rudeness did not sit well with me and I nearly asked for my money back at that moment. After I calmed down for a second I told her what I had and she said yeah that's it and Walked away so I could take the food that I payed for. Shouldn't be so difficult to order and receive food here. Got the burger. Not terrible, tastes like GFS ingredients (or tastes like a burger at home) definitely not worth $10 without a side. Definitely will not be back, and I highly suggest avoiding this location they are made for volume and nothing else. McDonalds will treat you better (for cheaper) Bobbys Burger Palace, Z burger, or Shake Shack is 10x better for same price. Otherwise positives are location and store cleanliness I give a 6 or 7 out of 10. Again, stay away from here. read more

I have been to many Five Guys locations in the country. This one has very lackluster service. You stand in the line and you don't feel like you are welcome because the staff are always chatting among themselves, joking and laughing about something without even looking at you. This happens every time. It is very unprofessionally run even though the burgers are okay. It is hard to mess up the food anyways. The guys need to be trained on customer service. read more

I wanted to give it five stars.... The food was fantastic, as usual for a Five Guys. This location is in a very convenient spot in downtown Washington DC. Clean, love the decor. However, the server behind the counter was very impatient taking the order. There was no one in line, so I took about 20 seconds to decide my toppings and she gave me attitude! had my first 5 guys experience the other day and it was not what i expected. i thought it was meant to be a white castle like burger place, cheap and nasty. boy was i wrong. loved the choose your own toppings set up, managed to make a delicious burger. strawberry milkshake was next level, so good in fact i grabbed a chocolate one on the way home from a movie (the drop staring tom hardy 8/10). cost about 15$ w fries as well but well worth it for a decent feed read more
