They' were super quick within an hour they hauled away our full studio worth of junk! Thank you so so much! We are grateful to be rid of everything there and good riddens to that trash and place! Also a fun fact is they deal with people from that hoarders show which was super interesting to hear since we hav watched that show ourselves! Interesting to know we met some of those workers! In the first project, I wanted to remove 1500 lbs of large rocks from my property to create space for another parking spot. Henry gave me the best quote and was by far the best communicator out of all the businesses I spoke with. Henry and Antonio arrived on-time. Unfortunately, we found out that their truck could not back up to where the rocks were. Before starting the project Henry let me know that it would be more work to carry everything down to the street. We negotiated a slightly higher price that was still better than other quotes I received. Henry was very fair and there was no pressure. In the second project, I needed a fence hauled away. Again, Henry gave me a very competitive price and showed up on-time. I had taken the fence apart except for one bolt. Antonio was able to get the last bolt unstuck. They hauled the fence away with ease. My 2 experiences with Henry and Antonio have been perfect. I wish all home service businesses communicated as well as Henry does. Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. My wife and I have said several times that we don't know how we would've done it without Mission Movers. I know exactly who I'm hiring for any of my future moves. 10/10 experience! Overall my personal experience was very pleasant and the customer service I received was great. Most employees seemed friendly and helpful. I did notice a slightly awkward interaction between an older female employee and another customer browsing near the VHS/DVD and jewelry counter. The employee called out "next," which made it seem like she thought the customer was ready to check out. When the customer didn't respond right away, the employee called out louder to get her attention kinda sounded annoyed. The customer looked a little caught off guard and replied that she was just browsing before continuing to look around. It was a bit of an odd moment, but when that same employee ended up checking us out, everything went smoothly and we had no issues. Overall it was a fun thrifting trip and I'd definitely come back again. Next time I want to spend more time exploring the clothing section!

- Spent 8 hours to move a 1-bedroom apartment with 2 movers. - The movers, despite the company's claim of strictly following CDC guidelines, asked to use the bathroom throughout the day and washed their hands at the kitchen sink. They also didn't wear their masks the entire time. - I was left with 2 broken items and minor dents/scratches on 2 other items. - When I asked about a MISSING item, the mover accused me of lying that it had ever existed. The missing item was later found ON THE TRUCK! This same mover also tried to claim that I disassembled one of the BROKEN items myself, but that was impossible because the item was turned on when they arrived. - My refrigerator door is now slightly ajar from the move and doesn't shut evenly. - There was random SAND, of all things, left on my floor around the sofa and when I lifted the seat cushion, there was more sand ??? - My original quote more than doubled when it was time to pay! I definitely felt that the company isn't very transparent when it comes to realistic move times. read more

We've had many movers over the years, but these guys were the best and most professional so far. The crew showed up on move day, and the foreman quickly assessed our situation and inspired a lot of confidence as he laid out the day's plan. The crew had a good attitude, worked quickly, and all the guys were helpful. I wasn't sure everything would fit on the truck but these guys must be great at Tetris because there was even room to spare at the end. We were about 75% packed when they showed up, and they filled in the gaps. We arrived safely at our destination and they unpacked and placed all the furniture. And nothing got damaged! I have used these movers now a total of 4 times. They are always quick and efficient and there are never any hidden charges. Everything is laid out in the beginning when they confirm your move and you know exactly what to expect on what you will spend. They have moved two apartments and two professional spaces for me and I have recommended them to friends who also swear by them. The only thing I will say is that one of the movers asked to use the restroom multiple times during the last move and did not lift the seat so there was pee all over my floor and toilet seat. They arrived on time and Shamil, Arman and Belek got right to work covering and shrink-wrapping practically everything. The truck was plenty big enough to fit everything we had moving out of a two bedroom home with lots of stuff in the garage. Their were lots of stairs at the Townhome we were moving into but in no time they were done and I would highly recommend their services. The cash price of $109/hr is a bargain, as this is not easy work and I was more than happy to give each of them a very nice tip. Thank you to all the guys from 5 Star Moving company. They called with an eta and arrived just when they said they would. They wrapped my furniture and handled all items with care even up and down the stairs. Alex, Ilay and Emil moved the mountain of boxes in no time and helped arrange the furniture in its new place. I hired News Moving Company to unload my truck after a move. The quote came through fast and was…read morevery reasonable. It was supposed to include assembling furniture and have no extra fees. The movers showed up on time and were very courteous. I did not have a big move and had friends to help. I opted to hire movers specifically because I needed help with the bigger furniture pieces and assembly, something that has never been an issue with any moving company I've hired in the past. I asked for the movers to set up my bed and sofa with instructions on how I wanted it while my friends and I helped with unloading the truck. Later that evening, I was extremely disappointed to find that they had not fully assembled my sofa, which was a pull out. All of the pieces were present as well as the owner's manual. It was frustrating that they did not assemble it, but even more frustrating that they did not bring it to my attention so that I could be involved to help resolve the issue. The sofa was clearly not fully assembled (not something that might have been overlooked)-- they slid the unassembled piece so that it was hidden and left it for me to find after they were gone. I understand if they are not able to figure out how to assemble it, but if it was part of the job that they were hired for, then they should bring it to attention if not able to complete the task for whatever reason. This was annoying, BUT the movers were good otherwise. The reason why this review is ONE star is due to the follow up from the company after. I sent a message expressing my frustration and disappointment that the movers had not completed assembly or brought it to my attention, and the moving company basically said that I did not say that I needed furniture assembled, and that was my fault for not disclosing I had a sofa bed, and that they would have charged more for that. I sent them their initial quote to me, which outlined that furniture assembly was included. They never asked me for a breakdown of furniture. And why would I tell you that I needed assembly if it was in your quote? No moving company has ever charged extra for this sofa bed (I've moved with it 3 times now). And the quote was supposed to be no extra fees. I said it was still unprofessional for them to leave / hide it and not let me know, and she said they were not aware (it was CLEARLY not assembled-- they knew). Never once did they offer an apology or acknowledge that there was anything done wrong on their end, they only argued with me and put blame on me (the customer) for something no other company has ever had an issue with. All I was looking for was acknowledgement, and left with a worst taste in my mouth. There are a ton of other moving companies other there. Please keep in mind when News Moving says NO EXTRA FEES, it does not mean no extra fees (they would have charged more for the sofa bed, per the representative). No other company has ever charged more for this. And News Moving will not fully stand up to everything in their quote. No other moving company I've used has ever fussed about assembling furniture. AND, most importantly, you should go with a company who cares about the satisfaction of their customers and takes ownership of their mistakes. News Moving company does not.

They have gone beyond and above my wildest expectations. I stored my things with them for three years and when I went to move my stuff it looked as if everything had come right out of my house. Everything was packed to perfection and completely protected. Sam, the owner, is very professional so nice. His storage units are meticulously clean and beautiful. In particular, I was in contact with Elesios, Adolfo and one other gentlemen whom I forget the name unfortunately. Elesios was professional in handling the day, providing me with a courtesy call 15 mins and 5 mins of arrival. He assisted with directing and smooth packing and loading of my items, offering what ever materials available to protect my belongings. Though my move to the new location was literally next door, the distance needed to unload from the truck to my new location was not as straight forward as I had hoped. Despite this Elesios and his crew navigated the best efficient path to unload in as little time as possible. I would highly recommend this company and would likely reuse their services should I ever move again.

She had the most upmost professionalism provided us. Excellent customer service and the quote could not be beat. We receive VIP Treatment. Victoria was very understanding of the timeframe that kept changing. She went the extra mile exceeded our expectations. We receive an appointment time with one of the team members video chat he provided us with excellent customer service. We went over all the different items that we plan on taking with us. We were Well, prepared, packed and organize. When the movers arrived on April There were five team members, one for men, Fernando, and his team. Everyone was kind polite, nice super helpful. They took very well care of us. I felt like this is how customer service should be with every company. They even want the extra mile. **Extremely Disappointed -- Wouldn't Recommend**…read more I used Orda Moving on June 27th and unfortunately had a terrible experience, despite being a returning customer. I had booked the move two weeks in advance and confirmed everything with Jake K., including start time, wardrobe boxes, and specific details like leaving clothes in my dresser. The morning of the move, the crew was over FIVE HOURS LATE -- I had to follow up twice just to get updates. At first, I was told they'd be there at 11 a.m., then 12:30-1 p.m., and they finally arrived at 2:45 p.m. I was later told this was because there were no trucks available, which makes me question how a moving company accepts a confirmed job without basic resources. The two movers who arrived were very young, clearly inexperienced, and completely unprofessional. There was a major language barrier, they didn't understand or follow basic requests, and I had to repeatedly remind them about things that were already in my original request -- like unmounting TVs and bringing in wardrobe boxes. When they did bring the boxes, they came without the hanging bars, and I was told the warehouse "ran out of materials." So I had to individually rehang all my clothes *while paying by the hour.* The movers also: * Took an hour-long break to go eat (after saying it would be 15-20 minutes) * Used my personal chargers -- one even dug into a packed box to find one * Taped boxes sloppily and stacked fragile items poorly * Asked inappropriate questions about personal belongings * Left scuff marks on my walls and floors * Tried to charge extra for my dresser, even though I had cleared that with Jake ahead of time * Seemed surprised/frustrated that my new place had stairs -- even though it was in my original move request To top it off, they didn't provide a breakdown of charges or have me sign anything before or after the move, which they had done on my previous moves. They initially tried to charge me $881 for 6+ hours of inefficient, unprofessional service, even though I had scheduled a 9 a.m. move to avoid traffic and parking issues -- which we ended up dealing with anyway, at 7 p.m. on a Friday. I had to argue for a discount and was told I was getting $131 off, but even that felt like a slap in the face. Someone from operations that I eventually got on the phone told me I had picked a "busy time of the month and week" -- as if they hadn't accepted my booking and confirmed it weeks prior. This experience was frustrating, exhausting, and totally unprofessional. I've used Orda before with better results, but this time was unacceptable. Poor communication, poor planning, and completely underqualified movers. I won't be using them again -- and I'd caution anyone else considering them to think twice.
