I appreciated that I didn't have to schedule an appointment and could drop in when it was convenient for me. The time spent getting the estimate was quick and I received the details of the work in my email an hour or so later. When it was time to get the repair/painting done, I was able to get it back in three days. Location is very convenient and directly across the street from the car rental I needed to pick up during this time. Fix Auto offered to drive me across the street to pick up the rental since the street I needed to cross can get busy. Very nice service and quick turnaround in getting my car back. We found a great body shop. We got t-boned and had small cosmetic damage on an older (2015) car. We got multiple quotes over $3000 for out of pocket work. Some places wanted as much as $6000! So thankful we brought it here... Matt tried to save the original moulding but it wouldn't work with the clip damage. He estimated us about $200 for the replacement moulding from the manufacturer, plus a bit of labor to install. I didn't need perfection, just wanted to fix the obvious damage. Matt was honest and professional explaining the options. The repair ended up being just over $200 and I only had to wait like 10 minutes once they got the part in and we were able to schedule. They were flexible, easy to work with, and knew their stuff. The techs and manager (forgot their names) who handled my car were a great team and I wouldn't hesitate to trust them with my car again. Fix Auto Reno blew the competition's prices away. Hopefully we never need them again but, if we do, this is the place we'd trust our family's vehicles! read more

Excellent Body Shop! They fixed my son's 2019 Chevy Camaro to like new condition! We couldn't be happier with it. I looked over every detail, nook, and cranny and couldn't find one imperfection in the paint or repairs. It took a while due to all the accidents/weather delays in the area caused by the atmospheric river but it turned out to be a blessing. Not impressed with Fix Auto Reno. I found this place due to its "good reviews" and it hasn't lived up to any of them. I had them fix my wife's car's front bumper and head light and when they were done we got the car back and then realized they never actually fixed the bumper. They repainted it but didn't fix the bracket on it so it would just rattle as we're driving. After bringing it back in they ordered the new bracket, and they said to bring it in the following week to have to replaced. We'll come that next week I called 4 times to ask if the part came in and each time Damien would say "ya I believe so, let me go check and I'll call you back." (It is also nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone because nobody answers the phone) I never got a call back. Mind you, this happened three times in a row when I called. Then when he finally called me to tell me they have the part, my wife went down during her work day to have them put it on and they turned her away and said that "they don't have the part yet." Needless to say, we both were very unhappy with the service and not to mention I have never seen a more disorganized shop in my life. One of their "Missions" is Cleanliness, and that place is far from it. read more

Don't waste your time if you have an older vehicle. I was told they would not touch my 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser because they can't find parts. All i really wanted was for them to straighten the frame which is slightly bent behind the rear wheels so my tailgate would go down and passenger side door would open. They wouldn't touch that either even though no parts are needed. I just bought 3 replacement parts and have never had a hard time finding parts for my Land Cruiser. Also, if you are wanting your repair done soon don't waste your time here as i heard them say they are booked out till November. read more

Worst shop ever. Not only did they take about 3-4 months to fix my car. They called me to come pick it up because it was "finished" so I get there not only did the car still have paint scratches from the accident I took it in for but they messed up part of my door and tint. The decal they put on my car that took them about 3 times to do already started lifting. Still had the audacity to charge almost 8K for their shitty work. Don't get me started on their car wash process too even added tire shine to the rim of the car!!!!! Do not go here Definitely recommend diamond auto body on Greg st I took a different car to them and they got it done in less than 2 weeks!!! Very bad and frustrating experience with the Fix Auto Reno. They are not professional and very bad customer service as well. Hard to believe they are still in business. Brought our car for a new rear bumper and was told upfront by Vanessa that the color may not match at the end of the job, which actually happened indeed. Our AAA insurance adjuster had informed us that a new bumper painting job should take an average of three days. However, my Nissan Rogue sat on the shop lot for SIX days without being worked on. I followed up with a phone call and that is why I know about this. On the sixth day at the shop, when the painter was finally scheduled to come in for the job, or so I was told, they realized the vent molding they had ordered for it was the wrong part so they had to re-order it and the car could not be returned to us. I picked up the car - seven days after having dropped it, with a clear mis matched color of the bumper and the rest of the car as well as without the vent molding. (See pictures attached). The case is now with the AAA garage and claim manager and the corporate office of Fix Auto in San Diego. To mention a few more irregularities with this shop, they do not write down customers' car milage when dropped at the shop. Also, in our car job they ordered and charged $96,87 dollars for the wrong vent that was never delivered or installed. This in itself amounts to fraud. read more

Fix Auto Reno is by far the best body shop I've had the pleasure to do business with!! Randi, Don, Michelle and the shop cat all go out of their way to make you comfortable. Let's face it: getting body work done is no picnic. In my case, I've had my 2016 for only 4 months and to see it needing repair was traumatic, even though only one part needed to be replaced. Don told me exactly how they would take care of it. When I got it back I was blown away at how excellent the job was--they even kept it longer so they could polish the repainted areas. Plus, they made sure the finish was flawless and blended perfectly with the undamaged sections. If I ever need body work done again I will be sure to come back!! Another thing: Don spelled out exactly how to care for the newly painted areas to make sure the paint cured properly. He also told me the bumper had been spot painted. Twice. This shop is ruining my life. I am having to sue them. Took them to court because my car has more problems than ever. I have made previous reviews before changing my name back to what it was originally. This is my update after court with them. Please save your car and time. I witnessed inside her office her telling her employees to write good reviews. I fell victim to this shop and have paid over 20k in repairing things she didn't do correctly, rental cars, tow trucks, being stranded, etc. She won't honor the warranty. The owner is rude and cussed me out when I was trying to be nice. She tried to commit fraud and I have the proof and am going through court again with them. Absolute nightmare. Took wifes auto in for fender bender repairs to front of car. They missed the broken windshield water bottle and didn't hook up the A/C Temp. Sensor. Was at Nissan Dealer for oil change and he pointed out why A/C was not working and also water bottle was leaking fluid. Had them fix A/C Temp Sensor and ordered replacement water bottle. Took my repair bill over to Fix Auto and showed them the work order from Nissan and they immediately reimbursed me for both the A/C work and the Water Bottle............no hassle, just good business. Why aren't all auto repair shops this honest?? I highly recommend Fix Auto; the accident repair was also hassle free and ahead of schedule. Came out of the movie theater to find my Miata Mazda in the parking garage with a dent in the front quarter panel. Started to blow a gasket until I found a note on the windshield. Whoa - do honest people like this still exist. He wasn't sure if his insurance was current. When my neighbor saw the dent, he raved about Fix-It. I dropped in on them to get an estimate - not quite sure what was going to happen with the insurance. Vanessa took a look immediately and gave me a written quote. It took a few weeks to sort out the insurance issue. The insurance company worked with Vanessa and made a minor revision to the estimate. Made an appointment and took it in. They had it ready sooner than they estimated. The job was so good, I couldn't tell any difference between the dented quarter panel and the area next to it. I found these guys as I wandered around Reno getting quotes so was a bit unsure about them but in the end I was very happy with the experience. I dropped off the car and they gave me a ride to the airport since I was going out of town for work for the week. They did find some other problems in addition to the initial known ones and fixed them without checking with me but they were very accommodating in working with me on the cost of that.
