I got the falafel, gyro platter and Saganaki. The falafel was light and crispy, on the smaller side though but still delicious. The star of the show was the saganaki. Rich, butterfly, light, and delicious. I wish it had some lemon slices.

I keep getting the same thing Falafel wrap( this time, i added the garlic sauce that comes on top of the greek fries) Fire feta ( hands down the beat, way bet tree r than opa! ) Greek fries ( the feta, garlic sauce and seasoning i mean you can drink that combo its so good) Baklava cheesecake - 5 stars

The saganaki came out sizzling and full of flavor, and the rest of the dishes had that fresh, homemade feel. The lively atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable.

Gyro platter with fried zucchini, so yum! Loved the rice too

Delicious food and great service. You can BYOB to round off a nice meal. The Flaming Cheese is rich and creamy. The patio is nice but on a noisy street.

First time here, came in for a late lunch. Place was empty, but slowly people came in and most were take out orders. Our food came last even though we were there before the other two tables. The gyro was delicious and the Greek potatoes were a first for us...healthier option than fries. The only thing missing was some hot sauce/chili. I will definitely come back, I am surprised I hadn't found or tried this place before! But I guess the name doesn't help it's identity as a Greek spot.

Such a small mom and pop restaurant with a big heart. Start with a FLAMING Cheese Saganaki! Literally delicious! The pita is fresh and the cheese is creamy! (See pic) The best part of this place is they treat everyone so well! The customer service is fantastic. It helps that the food is delish, too. A special (dinner meal) comes with FOUR sides. F.O.U.R. not 2. So you will be full. Trust the process. Not sure if I got all the pics, but we had shrimp skewers, baked tilapia, and salmon (our party of 3. My only recommendation is for the green beans to be fresh... with the seasoning and way it is prepared, canned or frozen beans wither easily. I'm It's a little off the beaten path but easy to get to and a pleasure to enjoy!

My husband and I hosted our rehersal dinner on the top floor of The Mayor's House on a Sunday…read moreevening in April, with a final guest count of 75--and it was truly perfect. We initially discovered the restaurant back in January when we dined there and immediately fell in love with the food, service, and atmosphere. That same night, we inquired about hosting a larger event (around 80 guests) and secured our April date with a deposit. From the very beginning, working with Jenna, the manager, was seamless. We communicated though text, which made planning easy and stress-free. Jenna curated a limited menu for our guests featuring popular dishes she personally recommended--chicken, beef, lamb, and vegetarian options--which made ordering simple while still offering great variety. She was also incredibly flexible with seating arrangements and accommodated exactly how I wanted guests placed. One detail I especially appreciated was her willingness to honor special requests--she arranged for a tres leches cake from a local bakery for dessert, which was a huge hit. On the day of the event, Jenna met me an hour early so I could set up extra decorations like flowers, a banner, and place cards. That extra time made a big difference and helped everything feel personal and organized. As guests arrived, we had them go directly to their assigned seats--which I highly recommend for a group this size, as it fills up quickly. The staff immediately began service with starters (hummus, salad, and bread), and they were quick to take both food and drink orders. Everything came out promptly, and the service throughout the evening was incredibly attentive and responsive. Every single guest had something positive to say about their meal and dessert, which says a lot when hosting a group this large. After dinner, the staff cleared tables efficiently, and we were able to enjoy the balcony space--an absolute highlight. It provided the perfect backdrop for photos with family, overlooking the Dallas skyline. At the end of the night, Jenna checked in with us to debrief, mentioning that the assigned seating helped her team provide faster, smoother service--which we definitely noticed. Not only did we have an amazing event, but we also felt like we built a genuine connection with her. She struck the perfect balance of being both professional and personable.

It was my first time having the lahmacun and to say it's a Mediterranean pizza is really an injustice. It looks like one but there's no cheese, and the dough is actually thinner and not as crispy but it's absolutely scrumptious. It's topped with a tiny salad of tomato, onions, parsley and perhaps sumac, but I had to add a bit of salt to that. The service was great and a bit uneven as it got busier, but they were friendly and helpful. I did make a reservation, which is recommended.

The Ezme was delicious and very fresh but takeout did not include table bread that you usually use to dip in the Ezme. The way it was provided, the only way to eat it is with a spoon, I guess, like a cold soup. The lamb shish was not as tender, and the bread was tough and chewy. Very hard to chew. Ordering lamb shish in the restaurant was a completely different and much more delicious experience; especially when the bread is fresh and hot. The cheese pide was delicious. The cheese was flavorful, and the bread was flavorful and tender. I would order it again. Dessert was the best thing we ordered. The Apple baklava is just amazing and I can't recommend it enough. Although I seemed to remember when I had this at the restaurant, it came with a scoop of ice cream, which is not probably feasible for to go. I guess the bottom line is I will look forward to when I return to Selda restaurant, but it's unlikely I will order takeout again given this experience.
