Sex whip right outside of our door

DISGUSTING and CREEPY!! It does not look like the pictures whatsoever. Got up to the room and found a leather SEX WHIP on the ground outside the door!!!!! We went into the room and saw that the lampshade had tons of black mold on it. The armchair had tons of stains from god knows what. The tub and shower had black hairs all in it like someone had just shaved in it. We ended up leaving and finding somewhere else to stay. Super bizarre and will never ever come back. Don't stay here!!!!!!

My Review on The Flamingo Waterpark Resort in Kissimmee, Fl We went on a staycation there as we had several times in the past. Back in 2014 and 2017, they had live music and hula hoop contests and dances for the kids, it was fun. You could order nachos and french fries at the bar and have drinks, but not this time. I booked this place August 23-25, 2024, but we wound up checking out on the 24th due to having a horrible experience. The room itself was nice. Wooden floors, fridge, microwave and a nice jacuzzi we weren't expecting. It overlooked the water park that was closed when we got there because we didn't get there til 6pm due to traffic. The tiki bar outside and the bar inside were both closed so we couldn't even order a drink if we wanted to. The next day the waterpark and lazy river were both opened but the lazy river tubes were just the size for a child not an adult so it was really uncomfortable sitting in them you barely fit and the lazy river was a big swimming pool because it did not move. There was no current it was beyond lazy. You had to move yourself if you wanted to go anywhere. The tiki bar was supposed to open at noon but didn't actually open until 1:30 ish. We ordered a whiskey ginger ale the bartender rang it up a receipt printed out but she didn't give it to us. She turned around instead and wrote how much it was on a piece of paper. It was $15 so we handed her a $20 bill we get our change back. We leave her a $2 tip and we had to ask for a receipt and when she finally gave it to us, we noticed there was a 15% gratuity already added after we tipped her the $2 because we didn't get an original receipt to pay in the first place. It's cash only at the bars. They do the same thing in the restaurant inside the hotel and it's very deceitful and dishonest. They don't want you to know that they add the 15% gratuity so they don't give you a bill to pay. There's no signs anywhere posted on property that gratuity would be automatically added. They just tell you how much it is and then you leave a tip thinking that's, the norm but now they're getting the tip plus the 15% gratuity and they don't give a receipt unless you ask. It's an awful way to do business to cheat your customers and it gives the hotel a very bad taste in my mouth. The only food that you can order from there is Puerto Rican. I love Puerto Rican Cuisine don't get me wrong but sometimes after a hot day, swimming and sitting in the sun, you just want a big juicy burger and french fries. Thank God for Door Dash! The breakfast in the hotel was ok. Big portions for the affordable prices. My daughter ordered burnt pancakes and I had eggs with toast no butter or jelly comes with it just toast. When you ask for it they don't have jelly and they bring you melted margarine that tastes like chemical. They don't have orange juice or apple juice for the kids only passionfruit which was pretty good I must say. There is no ice machines on the floors you go into the little store they have in the lobby and you're allowed one small bag of ice per day. For it being a weekend it wasn't crowded at all but from my experience and from reading all the bad reviews, now I know why.

When booking here I think the biggest thing to keep in mind is that you are mainly paying for the water park which I honestly loved and had a great time celebrating with my family for my nephew's birthday. The rooms were clean and nicely stocked up but some things were off. 1. Our hotel phone didn't work! Not saying it's a big deal but kinda wtf 2. Big crack on peep holes 3. My parents and me and my brother had our own rooms side by side and completely different rooms it was crazy 4. There was this weird 2hr period where they turned off the water park and didn't let anyone enter cause they said it was "raining" but it was beautifully sunny 5. Blanket is a literally sheet will not keep you warm also blanket and sheet did feel a little damp 6. No bottom grip on door just a little open space at the bottom But the water park is totally worth it and kids will love it !

Very impressed and satisfied by this hotel, the staff, the rooms and service. The rating online does this place no Justice. Should be upgraded soon I hope. I want to give a very heartfelt thank you to all the staff including the room service folks but more to the front desk staff who were so accommodating. These are Lesley, Abby, Lorena & Letty. If I left someone out it wasn't intentional, I just didn't get your name, but to all of you at this location, God bless you all land thank you so much for making me feel welcomed and appreciated. I'll be back soon, probably in a day or 2 since it seems I'm staying in Orlando a few more days. Till next time, stay blessed.

The ONLY reason I'm giving this "hotel" two stars is because of the waterpark. It's perfect for small children. Other than that this has got to be the worst hotel. They advertise as "affordable" but then your hit with outrageous fees and they do not include the water park so you have to pay an additional fee. I've been here a few times in the past where we just rented a room to take the kids to the water park but after this stay it will be the last. I came in during the hurricane and upon check-in the woman was extremely rude and abrasive. I had my three children with me. They went over the policy and said, "no smoking, no pets." And my daughter said, "We have kittens!" All she heard was pets and is always excited to tell people about her kittens we got recently. The woman then told me we would not be able to stay with animals (I just saw someone walking a dog out front). I assured her our pets weren't in with us and proceeded to check-in. I requested a room where I could view my car and preferably lower floor. She barked at me, "We don't take special requests." And proceeded to put me in a room on the inside when there were numerous open on the outside of the building where I could view my vehicle and it wouldn't be such a hassle getting my 1 year old, 4 year old, and seven year old along with our stuff inside. I got in the room and it was filthy. The sheets stained, the remote broken, dead bugs, etc. They never answer their phones and good luck getting your deposit back! They take it and then tell you that it takes up to ten business days to get it back and then after ten business days IF you can get ahold of them they tell you something must've happened in their system and they're issuing it. Then you'll likely have to continue calling and next thing you know it's been over a month. I would have not stayed here during the hurricane but had no choice. The other "affordable" hotels were booked. They definitely raised the prices in lieu of hurricane Ian as well. It's really sad to see this because the hotel has a lot of great potential if it were cared for properly.

This review is for the Flamingo Express Hotel located within the Flamingo Waterpark Resort. Booked for 4 nights in June 2022. It was $294.19 for a Standard Double Room with 2 Double Beds, including the 13.5% tax. There was also a $100 deposit charged via credit card. + Microwave + Refrigerator + Complimentary parking available on property + Decent size + Multiple outlets near the bedside - Run down - Old carpet - No safe as advertised on Booking.com - Hotel room phone not in service (I don't think it's even plugged in, but the outlet is located behind the tv) - Difficult to contact Front Desk via the hotel's main phone number - A small bag of ice is free. However, if you need more ice (example: for a cooler) there is a $1.85 charge. There is no ice machine and you must go to the Front Desk for ice. - No elevator - Rough bedspread Per the Front Desk, it costs $160 for 4 people for a one day admission to the water park. Proof of vaccination or negative Covid test is not required upon check-in.

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVERR This is the most ghetto place I've ever been to never ever in your life come here it's dirty. The room stinks like poop and the TV is smaller than my future. The volume is turned on and the volume still seems like it's zero. There was poop floating in the pool. The water was foggy, the arcade was broken. TV doesn't work. Do not do not come here it's like going to the worst place in Puerto Rico hell. The waterpark slides paint is chipping and the waterslides are absolutely disgusting. One of the waterslides has a hole in them. How can you have a hole in your waterslide? No one come here ever in your life. This is the worst I've ever been to if I could put zero stars I would, but I can't do that, never come here NEVER And the sign is corroded. They shouldn't be called a resort. This is literally a motel dupe. it's literally a motel in Puerto Rico hell.

My family and I did a waterpark at hotel week. We were truly disappointed in the Flamingo Waterpark Resort. It was the 3rd waterpark hotel we visited and I have to say the lobby is the ONLY appealing part of the visit. We drove around to our room and while surveying the room, what did we find? a roach. YES a German roach. I immediately called the front desk and was transferred to the manager who insisted we take another room. I was so dissatisfied with the first room I was even more disappointed in the 2nd. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund. They agreed to give me back the money including the resort fee. I made up for the night by going back to Coco Keys Resort where we had an amazing first night. This resort needs a lot of work. Please don't do it if you're traveling with family, friend or solo.

When I looked up the reviews as I always do for any place that I stay I was worried !!! But honestly the front desk was super nice! Her name was maria, she helped me with all my needs. I got my room early and when we got there we started at the pool until our room was ready. The room wasn't amazing! But it wasn't horrible either. It was clean. Just a little old fashioned but for the price it is good! Also the arcade was great my son enjoyed himself a lot. They also had a bounce house and an activity section too. Great experience. Great price I will be returning

Just checked in an have to say the receptionist was very good and friendly. Very knowledgeable and professional. However, that's the extent of a good feeling here. They rooms need a deep cleaning. No less that 4m5 hairs left in the bathroom and a pubic hair on the wall. Yes, gross. The ice bucket does not have a liner. The bottom is cracked with a hole. There was a KOller ex on the floor. Seriously how could they leave that broken ice bucket? The bed lamp has cracks in the shade and is a big dust bowl. The air conditioning works amazing which was already on and the room cooled when we got in. This place would be nice if it was scrubbed from top to bottom and sanitized especially the bathrooms and floors.

Shower curtain was all torn on the top and would not fully close while in the shower so water got all over the floor.

The park itself is fun, clean, and once the rain stopped the lines were much shorter. I was also happy to see that the hot water in the showers was finally working again. The last few times we visited there was no hot water, so that was a nice improvement. One area that really needs attention is the bee problem. They were everywhere. My daughter was stung, although I do want to give a huge thank you to the First Aid team. After I removed the stinger, they quickly brought numbing medication and ice, which helped tremendously, and she was able to enjoy the rest of our day. Aquatica should seriously consider investing in professional bee management, including traps or other safe methods to draw bees away from heavily populated guest areas. My biggest concern, however, was employee professionalism. Around 7:44 p.m., outside the Aquatica exit near the employee entrance, I observed what appeared to be an employee rolling what looked like a marijuana joint in plain view. If security cameras cover that area, management should review the footage. In addition, several employees at the food registers seemed more interested in asking girls for their phone numbers than helping the customers who were standing there trying to order food. The park is clearly staffed primarily by teenagers and young adults, which is understandable, but customer service expectations and professionalism need to be reinforced. Overall, we still had a fun day, especially after the weather improved, and the attractions continue to make Aquatica worth visiting. I just hope management addresses the employee conduct issues and the bee problem because both take away from what is otherwise a great water park. Oh also, if you normally use the green life vests, they did do away with those. That's the adult large. They only have XS, medium and xxL. I will add, the coffee at scoops ice cream area was very good. I got an vanilla latte

There, I encountered a peculiar spirit who led me directly to the wave pool. A tremendous wave crashed over me, releasing the spirit from my body--and, in a touching gesture of supernatural gratitude, he purchased me a cup of Dippin' Dots. In all seriousness, Typhoon Lagoon is one of my favorite water parks. The wave pool is fantastic, and Castaway Creek--the lazy river--is wonderfully relaxing. There are plenty of rides for thrill-seekers, while the entire park is beautifully themed around the aftermath of a tropical storm. Even the walking paths are thoughtfully designed, with little water sprayers keeping the pavement damp so your feet don't feel as though they're marching across the surface of the sun. There are plenty of dining and drinking options throughout the park, and the atmosphere is cheerful, immersive, and unmistakably Disney. The after-hours event is also a tremendous amount of fun, especially with the park illuminated at night. The room smelled awful, the window didn't open, and even after switching rooms the smell remained. The hotel is old, uncomfortable, and poorly maintained. Overall, a very disappointing stay. Our check-in experience at this hotel was a complete fiasco. We arrived in the evening only to discover that our reservation had been cancelled because we were two hours late. This happened despite the fact that we had called and sent messages in advance to confirm our arrival and specifically asked them not to cancel the booking. Nevertheless, the reservation was cancelled, and we were forced to make a new one after already waiting in line. At the front desk, the staff insisted it was our fault for not notifying them, even though we had clearly done so. Unfortunately, the real disappointment began when we entered the room. The smell was extremely unpleasant, and since the window did not open, it was impossible to ventilate the space. We requested a different room, and while the second room was slightly better, it still had an unpleasant odor. The pool area was also difficult to tolerate due to a very strong chlorine smell. Overall, the hotel feels very outdated and poorly maintained, making it hard to relax. Even the bar was closed throughout our stay. Overall, a very disappointing experience

Upon getting unpacked, two major issues were unresolved and were not satisfied at our departure. They kept saying they would fix the air conditioning (for the upstairs, and the heater for the pool). This made the stay for those sleeping upstairs very, very uncomfortable. And we not able to enjoy the pool. Other minor issues, we took pictures of and also alerted the staff. The house was nice, but... I can not in good conscience recommend staying here. The customer service was totally unacceptable. And...they billing was a nightmare for my cousin. Once returning home and getting her invoice, she and I spend hours on the phone with her credit card company disputing error charges!

There's a sandy area if you prefer as well as a wading pool (all heated) and there's a little game deck where you can play lifesize Jenga and connect four! The cabanas are reasonably priced and you can book them by the day or by the week. Thanks so much Melissa for helping me with the booking process! The Cabanas come with a bucket of waters and poolside service that will deliver lunch and drinks at the times you'd like! Very nice bartender Cecilia! She was an amazing bartender and made our drinks to order! Well done!

My family had a blast, and my daughter conquered the ropes course like a tiny adventure warrior. Also, can we talk about the food? I went in expecting "theme-park survival snacks" and instead got stuff that was actually... good? Fun activities AND good food feels like cheating, but I'm not complaining.

My daughter is obsessed with the water park -- it's her favorite part, and honestly, it's hard to beat on a hot Florida day. The setup is amazing, super clean, and well-organized, and the staff always makes sure everyone feels safe while still having tons of fun. Beyond the waterpark, they do such a great job hosting special events -- there's always something new and exciting happening. I definitely recommend checking their event calendar often because they plan the most creative, family-friendly activities throughout the year. It's also such a flexible and beautiful space -- whether you're spending the day on the water, grabbing snacks, or relaxing while the kids play, it's the perfect place to enjoy time together as a family. If you're in the Lake Nona area, Nona Adventure Park is a must. Great energy, great people, and endless fun for all ages!
