Cute little breakfast place. Service was good and food was amazing. They only serve coffee, juice, water, or milk! That was interesting to us but not a big deal.

Had a wonderful breakfast experience today at flapjack Pete's!!! The service from our waitress was absolutely phenomenal she was attentive and friendly & succeeded all of our needs. I had the colossal breakfast which had pancakes (or french toast - you get to choose), 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, and hash browns. It was very good and I loved the syrup that they had it was very sweet and also cinnamon butter was provided and it was delicious. My only small complaint is I didn't really like my over easy eggs they were oily and a little bubbly on the plate. My friends also ordered sausage links and they said they were very tough and chewy. Also, they do NOT give STRAWS!!!! I found this very weird. I hate drinking from restaurant glasses. Very seasonably priced as well!

It was lovely and SO tasty. My waitress was Albanian (as am I) and we bonded over that. When I couldn't decide if I wanted strawberries or not she gave them to me anyways at no charge (cause I'm Albanian, we gotta have our strawberries). Only thing that would've made this better is if I hadn't gone with my ex. Sigh. Ya live and ya learn

Ate here this morning, a Monday in July, and were seated immediately. The ambiance and decor is very cute, it feels like an authentic cabin restaurant with wood furniture and taxidermy fish mounted on the walls. The menu isn't too big which wasn't a problem for us, it had all the basics. I ordered the French toast with fresh strawberries and sausage links. Four slices of French toast came in the order which I thought was generous, usually it's about two slices only. My meal was good, the French toast was dry so the strawberries and whipped cream that I asked for definitely made it taste much better. The sausage links were tough so I only ate one. I'd probably order bacon next time as the sausages were more like a soft jerky to me because of their toughness. I also had apple juice which was very tasty. My friends had the meat lovers omelette and the colossal breakfast which they both liked. They also got a side of sausage and agreed it was tough. Our check came to just over 100$ for four people which wasn't bad. My side of strawberries was 4$ which did feel a little expensive, the side of sausage was the same amount for two small links. So I'd say some things here are a bit over priced but that's typical of restaurants these days. Overall, we had a nice experience, I'd come back but try the pancakes this time instead. Our server was super nice and attentive!

The ambiance is amazing, sitting on the deck with a lake view. The service, while very friendly is very, very, very slow!!!! Do not be in a hurry. Forever to get waited on, Forever to get coffee, forever to get water. We were not sure we were going to get food. When we did get the food, it was delicious! But it was over an hour. Not that many tables. I think if they could get the food out faster they could make more money by turning table quicker. That being said, nice experience, just relax, when the food comes it's good.

We came for a Sunday breakfast since it was very close to our hotel. There were very few people here at 9 am. We assume they may have been ready to close up for the season since it is October. We were seated promptly. We decided on drinks, flap jacks and a waffle. We got our OJ and tea...and a second pitcher of hot water and teabag. I didn't need it but thought it was considerate. We didn't wait long for our food. And It looked good! My waffle was delicious with the maple butter. The home fries were good, but could've used some seasoning. My husband order blueberry flapjacks, but they were out of blueberries. He got strawberries. And a huge pile of them! Unfortunately, there was a moldy strawberry in the bunch. I was ready to give 4 stars for delicious food, until that. He had to carefully check his food to make sure there weren't more. Luckily there werent and the flapjacks were good. We get the check and it's nearly $40! For breakfast? Drinks were over $7 and each meal was $14. A bit too expensive for ok service and moldy strawberries. I hope peak season is better.

I've been coming to Lake George for numerous years and I have to say this place has gone downhill service and food just nothing special anymore just mediocre Ordered the eggs over easy with corned beef hash I also said that I would like to try their smoked bacon The waitress ended up just giving me two eggs on a plate with bacon I definitely said my order very clearly so it was a little irritating to wait a very long time to get the wrong order. Also the meal doesn't come with toast.... the corned beef hash was from a can. The place really advertises smoked meat like they're from Quebec but all they offer is a smoked ham and smoked bacon which is awesome just disappointing. My son ordered French toast that are stuffed and basically it was some really gross warm Jam in between too thick chewy French toast. The service the hostess was beyond Rude the first thing that she said to us when we walked in was not Hi how are you it was I don't know if you guys really want to wait 30 minutes to eat here. Lol We walked in and we knew that there would be a wait.. and all honesty it was definitely not worth the wait. Like I said our waitress was overly friendly to try to make up the fact that she just wasn't a great waitress I ordered one thing and then added on bacon for the table to try and all she probably was two eggs with bacon.. Lol When we go up to Lake George I will definitely not be coming back.

Flapjack is great for pancakes and they have amazing maple syrup! Food is okay. Inside is very nice. Long wait usually to get a table.

Colossal breakfast if just ok, sausage was cold and tasted like cooked from frozen. The pancake and French toast are okay but mc do has fresher ingredients if I compare the taste. But ambience is nice and service is excellent.

Deeply disappointed. This was always a "go to spot " in Lake George. Food was "ok" the service was as slow as the "Maple syrup ".

We were pleasantly surprised with both the high food quality and friendly, efficient service. Seated outside at a comfortable table we shared an excellent crab cake with our cocktails. The 'Lake George Punch', was very nice. Our server, Jack, was on his game & could give lessons on on unobtrusive high quality table service with a smile and some pleasant conversation. The pulled chicken tacos and crab stuffed haddock were both excellent! Flavor, texture, doneness all top notch. We were caught up in the details of sauces, rice, and wonderful harcort verts (can't just call them a side of green beans). Unexpected in a hotel restaurant in a touristy area. All in all, with the July evening breeze blowing off the lake, a slice of lake view, and the bustling fellow visitors putting on a show just for us.... It was a very nice experience.

My wife ordered the 6 ounce $45.00 Filet mignon, medium, with well done sauteed onions and mashed potatoes. Steak was served with bleeding raw center and all but raw onions. She requested it be cooked better. Plate was removed and then returned with just the potatoes and requested she wait for re-cooked food. Really? Now she's sitting there with a plate of squashed mashed potatoes and some of the uncooked onions. However, she was still willing to wait. But then I started to cut into my $42,00, "12 ounce" Rib Eye, medium steak. Was also bleeding. I could tolerate that but not the fact that is was NOT anywhere NEAR 12 ounces (about the same size as my wife's 6 ounce steak) and the first mouth full consisted of fat, and strings of gristle. Along with the second and third mouth full. In the meantime my wife STILL hadn't received her dinner back. I told Caleb the dinner was unacceptable and we were leaving. I spoke to the manager who apologized but didn't offer any other solution but that they were re-cooking my wife's steak. No compromise or reduced bill. I told the manager to be grateful that I would still pay for the dinner so as not to cause a problem, escalate the situation and upset my wife and ruin our vacation, as I tend to be nasty in such incidents. I still left Caleb a generous tip. Worst meal I've had in years. Wish I could rate it no stars. They should be VERY grateful ! My most helpful tip is DON'T GO THERE IF YOU WANT A GOOD STEAK

The security presence feels a bit oppressive and inconsistent, often seeming to pick and choose who they approach. Every year we report that the pool deck becomes extremely slippery, yet despite repeated complaints, nothing has been done. This year, I actually witnessed someone fall because of the slippery surface, which was very concerning. Unfortunately, bringing concerns to management hasn't been a positive experience. The manager doesn't seem willing to listen, has difficulty de-escalating situations, and is often not very respectful toward the staff. It's disappointing because good management can make a big difference, especially when it comes to guest safety and employee morale. Overall, it's an okay resort if you don't need assistance or have any concerns. But if you expect your feedback to be heard or safety issues to be taken seriously, you may be disappointed.
