Service was exceptional. Every employee had a smile on their face. Everything came out perfect and correct. Will recommend the Reese's peanut butter pancakes. Was such good experience, the waitress even noticed the coupon I had lying on the table and asked for it before the bill with no problems. Highly recommend.

We were able to get a seat right away, which was great! The dining room was incredibly large so it seemed that wait times were minimal. While we were fortunate enough to have a booth for 4-6 people, other tables in the center of the dining room were VERY close together. The couple across the aisle from us had another table so close to them that their baby's highchair was touching the other table. The food was fine, but nothing exciting or wowing. The pancakes were good as well. Our only complaint was our waitress. She was obviously busy, but was clearly not enthusiastic about being there. She offered no small talk, just straight and to the point. We felt like any ask was too big.

Flapjacks Pancake Cabin is a nice place to get breakfast in the area. The service is fine and the vibe fits the location. The food is fine, nothing crazy.

Oh my goodness this was a delightful breakfast the pancakes were light and fluffy and the service was quick and efficient. One if the best breakfast meals I've had in the Smokies and I have been coming here for decades! The servers were friendly and the log cabin decor was warm and homey. The coffee was good and they left a carafe on the table, so you could control your sugar/cream/coffee ratio. ;) We will be back!

We came in through here around 10 in the morning. We had to wait around 5-10 minutes for a seating and after that service was speedy. Our waitress was friendly, constant check in and refills. The grits were delicious, just wished were given more grits. The pancakes were okay, wish they were a tad more sweeter. The place is very clean and very consistent in cleaning tables soon as a customer is gone.

I have to admit that I was starving and forgot to take a picture of my omelette. I ordered the veggie omelette with hashbrowns for my side. I also had to order pancakes because they looked so great. The omelette was amazing and covered half of my plate , the other half was covered with hashbrowns The pancakes were also the size of the plate. Everything was delicious. They were fairly busy, but the service was still great and fast The atmosphere was like a country cabin with a giant fireplace in the middle. Definitely recommend if you're hungry for breakfast !

Ambience is good better than most places looks like an authentic rustic log cabin service is adequate. Food is awful. The pancakes have no taste. The chocolate milk is watered down the hot cocoa taste like water at the end of the meal for two adult adults and two children you're looking at $75

Service was amazing. Shout out to the staff. I was a little confused about the gift Shop because I didn't know it was located in the entrance. But the inside reminds you of well a cabin. I order the buttermilk pancakes which were fluffy, western omelet and a strawberry deagonfruit lemonade which was served in a cute Mason jar.

Had about 15-25 min wait. Food was good I had the chicken and waffle the sauce on to hot honey was great. My little one had the best pancake he loved it too. My husband ordered the pumpkin cheesecake pancakes and they were great too!

The food is always great here. It's always great to take people from out of town to get some of the best pancakes in the area.

Will not be back. Food served cold. Staff was friendly. Seated quickly. Pancakes chewy. Eggs not done. Biscuits cold. No syrup. Asked twice.

We had an amazing, sweet and happy waitress named Heather, and she was so attentive! LOVED HER! Before moving on - they give coupons for free fudge and a free little bottle of gems at the neighboring gen mine! As in free - free! Ok, now for the food - absolutely delicious and plentiful. I had a mountain berry crepe along with pecan pancakes. FOUR BIG pancakes! The bacon was perfectly crispy too - the whole meal was just spot on. I know it's just bacon and pancakes...but the people, and place made them taste like the best ever. A fun place, and affordable too.

And then I looked again, hoping that maybe something low-calorie or nutrient-dense was hiding and I just needed to look harder. Nope. But if you're looking for a sandwich that consists of chicken tenders between two glazed donuts, then this is your place. Sawyer's has other things that are not so county-fair forward. They are known for breakfast: French toast, pancakes, omelettes. If you get pancakes or waffles or the like, you should definitely ask for their house-made peanut butter syrup. It's amazing and so unlike anything that I've ever tasted. I got an omelette, which was good and had a lot of stuff in it. They will give you hot sauce upon request, which I was grateful for because I thought the omelette needed it. One thing that's really cool about Sawyer's is that they seem to take food allergies very seriously. That's always nice to see! As you're entering or exiting, make sure to admire the decor. It looks like you're in a barn, and as you exit, there's a gift shop with stuffed animals, t-shirts and other things to commemorate your visit to Sawyer's. This is a fun little place that's great for families, for sure.

I went with the Black Bear Sampler, and this thing came out in a cast-iron skillet looking like breakfast had decided to show off. Eggs, ham, bacon, sausage gravy, grits, potatoes, biscuit--the whole works. And somehow, instead of being a giant pile of average food, everything was fantastic. That's what impressed me most. Plenty of places can make one great breakfast item. When you order a sampler this big, usually something gets left behind. Not here. Every part of it earned its spot in that skillet. The portions are huge, the food is excellent, and this is exactly what I picture when I think of a real Smoky Mountain breakfast: hearty, simple, and done right. I've eaten breakfast in a lot of places over a lot of years. This one is now the measuring stick. Absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to come back.

Either way, I'm here for it. Wooden floors, antique cookpots, and a newspaper like menu. It's cozy and outdoorsy all at once. The service was friendly and the prices are reasonable. Get to it!
