The "Gobernador," grilled shrimp, with cheese and house made pico, on fresh corn tortillas. The beeer battered fish taco with cabbage, house pico, sour cream and secret sauce. The pork belly taco, with onions, cilantro, avocado sauce and pickled onions, that really helped balance out that deliciously unctuous porky pig. AMAZING!!!! Then, they have a whole separate Birria menu!!! So of course, being a fat kid, I had to try the Birria Quesadilla. It was loaded with delicious, slow cooked, beef Birria and melty, gooey, stretchy Oaxaca cheese. You could taste all the spice notes, the cinnamon, cloves, thyme and Mexican Oregano all singing in harmony with the Pasilla, Guajillo and Arbol chilies. Then that consommé... that delicious preserved broth oozing with Birria goodness. Puts it right on par with the best roast beef and French dip you've ever had. Created by the owner himself, this sauce is literally fire. Spicy, but not overly, and so, so flavorful! If he doesn't start bottling them and selling them, he's doing himself and the taco community a disservice. Anywho...
