We came here for dinner last night. I always get the same thing cause you can't go wrong. Love the buffalo chicken wrap with fries! My MIL got the fish and chips and she loved it.

I went to the Flemington Diner for a nice breakfast. Which they did not disappoint! I got some silver dollar pancakes and the flemington milkshake which were both delicious. Our host was extremely attentive and accommodating for my seeing eye puppy in training. They gave me a booth for her to settle under and made sure we were comfortable. The shop was mostly clean but has lots of crumbs pushed into the side of the wall, which my puppy brought to my attention. Otherwise I had a lovely visit at my home town diner and will be coming again.

Interior was beautiful and service was great. Food was really good and reasonably priced. All food ,bread and ice cream is made in house. Ordered seafood platter which was very fresh. Comes with salad, vegetables , potato and fresh hot bread. 31.00. I have been to alot of diners . This by far is one of the best ones I have been to. Everthing about this place is top notch.

Me and my fiancée went here after visiting my friend for the holiday weekend. It was close by so we figured we'd give it a go. We walked in, we were greeted by the staff and seated right away. We had breakfast here, and the food was very good. Me and my fiancée both enjoyed our omelettes we had. Our waitress checked in on us in a timely manner. Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit. If you're passing through Flemington, and need a place to eat. Scope this place out.

Chicken salad platter and virginia ham club sandwich were fresh and good but nothing special. Decaf coffee is burned and bitter. Service was friendly.

Loved the ambiance as soon as we got in here. Light music, greeted quickly at the door and seated with drinks before even asking! Up from there, I love the variety in their menu. I meant to take a pic of the food but I was too hungry!!

From the greeting, to the service and the menu options we were pleasantly surprised. For us this was a high value choice. The food was superb, the Spanakopita with it's layers of pastry and fresh spinach was wonderful. The roasted eggplant in the Mesakka was easily my wife's favorite item. For us it is a two hour trip to Flemington but we are looking for a reason to bring family and return to the area just to share this experience. A side note, the server, Summer, did a fantastic job making us feel welcome and part of the family. To top everything off we finished our meal with "Cakes in a Can". The owner's wife, Yara, apparently spends hours each day making these attractive and tasty treats. I had the Raspberry and Pistacio. They are right to be very proud of her efforts. I recommend this experience, if you are ever near FLemington and want to enjoy Egyptian and Greek cusine this is the place to go. Thank you for the experience, from Joyce and Bill.

The coffee was so strong and nice, and came in the cutest cups and saucers that looked like purses. And there are cake parfaits (photo below) in a variety of flavors. I had pistachio and chocolate, my sister had the strawberry shortcake - everything was fresh and flavorful. They can accomodate larger groups but it is best to call ahead as it is a popular place. The staff was also very nice!

There were definitely some hits and misses with this visit…read more The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious, although there were two sizes listed and I wasn't asked which size I wanted--I was simply charged for the larger one. The service was quick, and there is both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a nice option. However, the order wasn't checked before it was brought out, so it arrived incomplete. The home fries were bland and came with raw peppers, which I wasn't expecting- should have been sautéed so the texture matched the potatoes. The French dip was unfortunately overcooked and dry, with a ton of onions that weren't mentioned on the menu (HUGE ISSUE bc he's allergic to onions!) We also requested horseradish sauce on the side, but it never came out. The cranberry-orange turkey salad was tasty, but the portion was on the small side. I substituted the turkey for the Southern crispy chicken, which came with an additional charge, and honestly, it wasn't worth the upcharge. Overall, there were some good elements, especially the fresh orange juice and salad, but several details could have been better. Quick service and a nice seating setup, but the food and attention to the order left something to be desired.

Summertime is a great…read moreseason to explore places far and away especially rest for great food. ‍ As I was searching for farms and produce stands, I noticed this business and since I love pancakes here, there and everywhere, I planned a day away that included farm stands, backroad NJ scenic driving and fruity pancakes. Due to circumstances beyond my control, we arrived at noon on Thursday, breakfast ended at 11am and so we pivoted to lunch items that included a Boars Head cheesesteak, chips and pickle plus a really tasty cheeseburger . As we were leaving, my husband decided on a large chocolate peanut butter milkshake which he deemed awesome. (Thanks Todd for stepping in and making one) We stopped at our pre planned list of farm stands and headed home. Very next day, Friday, up at dawn to get a few chores out of the way so we could head out to Gronsky's for the day #2 breakfast deadline! I prefer sitting at the counter and watching their magician, Tyler, assemble the food for orders, crack open the eggs, drop the pancake batter in the proper corner and keep all meats aligned for the plates. He's the king of that kitchen and each one of those servers is the queen doing the hustle, bustle, slide to the left, back up and move forward like square dancers on the move. From the Taylor ham, provolone and fried egg sandwich on that FRESH Kaiser roll to the omelette with those delicious home fries and my PEACH PANCAKE . . . . all of it was their special take on breakfast served their way. Almost 50 years, folks! Prices are absolutely reasonable for how the food is prepared and presented, quality ingredients cooked according to diners' specifications. What more can you ask for? It was very busy when we got there, but they had three employees working between the walk-up window and the inside counter, so the line kept moving. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, which made it easy for our group to find places to sit and enjoy our ice cream. Even with the crowd, the staff did a good job keeping up with the orders and everything moved along efficiently. If you're looking for a classic spot to grab some ice cream on a warm evening, Gronsky's is definitely worth a stop.
