Personally don't like sushi but I still try it, this place had some rolls I would've liked much better without seaweed

First we had to wait 2 HOURS for 5 sushi rolls and a ceviche plate. (AT 1hr & 30 min) Got our order, made sure it was the right food. Nope! Went back in told them. They hadn't even started our order. 1 hour wait turned into 2+ for 5 Rolls and ceviche. Told us "we'll prepare your order right now." Means they could have finished this order wayyy before. Also heard them talk saying they got other people before us. I've seen maybe about 3-4 people get their food before us. (AT 1hr & 40min) later we got our food , went home . Checked the food , they got another thing wrong. (AT 2hrs) So I came back again and wait the 2 hrs. understand understaffed but that's absurd. 2 hours for our food. i give this place 2 star not because of there food but there customer service . over the years i've noticed they have been hiring random lady's with no experience. I ordered 3 sushi's . and the total was $42 and so i handed her $60 she said i don't have change so it will be $43 like if that was my issue ? and so she goes to get change assuming she was handing me the "right change " but ended up handing me $15 with no receipt . this whole time i've already calculated what my change was which was $18 and was UPSET AT ME for ? for asking for my right change .? The cashier tried to purposely scam me out of my own money. My total was 18.41, I paid with a $50. She gave me the coin change first, then gave me $1 & closed her till. I told her "I gave you a 50" & she just kinda laughed it off like 'oh I got caught"! She opens her till & grabs a 20 & a 10 that were just laying on top of the till & handed it to me. She clearly knew what my correct change was, because it was right there ready to go in the till, but she wanted to see if I would notice. The food is delicious. I would come more often but the service is terrible at times. Not at all times. Makes for a bad experience, especially spending as much as I spent today $90. Also the restaurant kinda smells bad when you walk in. The staff does not speak English which is fine with me. I knew that coming in. The lady here today was so rude to me. She thought I didn't speak Spanish and she laughed at me with other customers because she thought I didn't understand her. She was not understanding what I was trying to order and the customers that speak better Spanish than me were explaining what I wanted. Then when I she finally figured out she was wrong she became aggressive, starring at me like she wanted to fight me. I don't look Mexican, I'm very light with very light, almost blonde hair. She was beyond polite and friendly with the other girls that looked straight up Mexican. Definitely only Mexican people welcomed here. The wait was so long and the food was proportioned a lot less than what I've gotten for the same orders in the past. This is different from what I usually go for, saw the rolls in their menu that are different than what you think a roll would be. Typically with with fish like a sushi, but these rolls are more like with cooked protein (shrimp, beef, imitation crab) I ordered the dragon roll which had your imitation crab, shrimp, and avocado but I didn't quite enjoy it as much as I would like to. It had way too much rice and small portions of ingredients in the middle. It lacked flavor as a whole. The saving grace to make it taste better was the teriyaki sauce and spicy Mayo sauce they give you to dip the roll in. For $10.99 the size of the roll is good but for what it's made of, felt like a $7 roll. I also got the Cicero Campechana (seafood cocktail) and that was a hit! 9/10 super delicious. It was a big and generous amount cocktail. Super refreshing and definitely on the spicy end. I felt like I was breathing fire after. So if you like spicy, this is for you! It had shrimp, octopus, and j believe albacore as well. Super filling. The tomato and cucumber pieces were diced nicely. The juice in the cocktail was perfect, nice and acidic and just the right amount of season. I would totally order this menu item again. read more

TERRIBLE service. My parents tried asking questions about the menu (they asked if a roll was fried) to which the cashier responded with a duh attitude. Then, when my mom asked for 2 flavors for the tray they ordered to which the cashier snapped saying "you can only choose one!" The rude cashier looked like a 50 year old woman. Mexican music playing and the inside is clean. The worker was nice. We split the order. We each got a jalapeño and it was fresh and tasty! The Dragon roll was was great! Spicy goodness! My first time here. I got shrimp cocktail. Size is great. Looks delicious. I believe they use some king of Maggie sauce it gives a salty different flavor. It taste good but Just not as good. The worst marisco place I have ever been too. I purchased a torre de mariscó and it was terrible. The camarón Curtido was so old. Look at the color of the cucumbers in the picture; old! Was desperate for sushi and this was the closest to me with delivery. Food was awful! Got the mango roll and habanero roll. Too much rice and the taste was so off. Definitely just go the extra miles to get real sushi. Some side ginger instead of carrots would've been nice though. read more

Did not taste like sushi at all. They use regular rice and you can taste the unhealthiness of this. More like a Mexican fast food version of sushi. Was not appetizing at all. Food is ok at best. Sushi is not real sushi, but the Mexican version of it. Fried, but you know that going in so if thats your thing its fine. Nothing to rave about though. My parents like the Molcajete tostada which is pretty good to me. Service - absolutely terrible. Whoever asnwers the phone is usually rude, not just one person but multiple both male and female. Someone hates their job. Extremely poor people-skills. Every request for information seems to take up all their effort. My parents are regulars and they have n been almost ridiculed for not knowing what the specials are when they call. Other times they tell them that they are too busy and they're cleaning (40 min before closing). Once they kept texting my mom to pick up her food when she was on the way (per their scheduled pickup time). The parking lot is small and smells horrible because of the rotting seafood. If I had to change one thing it would be the staff but I get the feeling that it's family-owned and they employ their otherwise unemployable family that for some reason cant keep a job. I've driven by many times but never thought to stop. It does satisfy sushi cravings. When I'd like to place sushi to-go I'd order from here.

Food was great. Good presentation and portions were adequate. Loved it. My new favorite spot.

First visit got the shrimp cocktail. Plenty of it for the price. Very good with lots of shrimp. Will be going back to try more.
