My mother was in town from out of town area, I wake up late and she doesn't. She wakes up really really early. She always has she's and early riser. She's worked in health care for the last 25 years and was an early riser prior anyway. Yo anyway this place was lit. But also so mom was in town and she wanted like hella options. She also kept wanting a gyro the whole time she was is in N Y C. But also on this particular day she didn't wanna hit the legit type beat gyro spot she wanted some else maybe, OPTIONS. So I was planning on taking my mother - and my special friend as well. To "Tina's diner Bushwick New York" but guess what. We got our WAY TOO late. And even tho Tina's was taken over by the dudes who ran ya yas (also low key/high key a solid ass gyro spot) they have added tacos to the menu but kept those same old school azz hours after Tina's retired and moved to Florida (she's deserved it, what a lady) (also remember the rumors?????) anyways... um where was I. Yeah we were trying to go to Tina's which is an institution as many know and it's also closer to my home (in Bushwick near the Jefferson and or Morgan stop) but you know they kept those old school hour 6am to 3pm so we missed them. SO I decided to take my mother and this particular special lady to tastys instead. Tastys I know, arguably (actually probably not arguabley) but better food than Tina's but you know Tina's got the vibes. That old wood paneling and 10 11 dollar whatever basic meat you know wha I mean? I always get the basic meat plus like 4 drinks, milk, large OJ, coffee black (just like my metal) and soda water, and regular water I need the whole pitcher. Anyways we were not at Tina's diner on this particular day we rocked with the tastys. Which is a little further from me but also has more selection, quality ingredients, and old school vibes. Black and white tile flooring, red fancy chairs, you know like tha scene from pulp fiction before emu Thurman ODs or whatever? You know what I'm talking about but the lights are all on and there's a bunch of windows and it's day time and it's beautiful! They have nice plants in there. Anyways, I got a turkey club - it's was PROPER, my special friend got a chicken Caesar salad club (minus the chicken cuz she's vegetarian/ but I asked her to get the chicken on the side / why lose food and waste money you know? I'll eat the chicken you know wha I'm saying? ) and my mother- she went with the gyro after all (reg gyro comes with parchment gyro pretty tasty but hella veggies) my turkey club was PROPER. I also got a delicious VANILLA milk shake COM AT ME. anyways 5 stars will be back . ALSO the beautiful server man gifted us a FREE piece of cake. He said meals come with free desert (idk if that's true but the cake was definitely at least. Day old )) it was supposed to be a tiramisu but I'm not so sure. So good I give it Yummerz out of 100. Plus on top of that the server was handsome. He had glasses.

Didn't take too long for a table, maybe 15 minutes. It's popular for those who know. We got seated in the back. Out waiter was nice but new so there was a couple miscommunications but it was all good. He was in training. Judging by the people around us, they knew what they wanted. They came over and gave us pickles for the table. My sister was not a fan, so I did not partake. The father/son duo next to us got entrees but shared pancakes and the son got a milkshake. I think next time, I need to take their lead. I got a fish filet sandwich and my sister for a tuna salad sandwich with fries. I had potato salad but her fries were better. My sandwich was yummy on a brioche role and avocado slices. I loved it. I really can't wait to return. I told everyone I know about this place! May it last for many more decades ahead! The owner, Patty, and our two servers, Kim and Patty went above and beyond to make it a special day. Here's a Google review you can use for Florence Prime Diner: --- I recently visited Florence Prime Diner, and I was blown away by my experience! The Nutella waffle was absolutely amazing--rich, decadent, and perfectly cooked. Their special steak and egg dish took it to another level; it was simply delicious! But the highlight for me was the Montecristo sandwich--hands down the best I've ever had. The flavors were spot on, and the presentation was fantastic. I highly recommend this diner for anyone looking for a great meal. Can't wait to go read more
