Went to florinas today because starting today they are open on Sundays. We weren't sure what we were going to order because everything is so good. Unlike most places when I order in advance for pick up, here I just go in and see what they have available first. Today we tried a bbq chicken slices which was really good. Sweet bbq sauce and chicken on their amazing dough. I asked about the chicken Caesar salad slice I had a few times back and two employees, one named Joseph, offered to make me a chicken Caesar salad personal pie. It was really nice of them and I also ordered a thin crust cheese (margherita) pie to go. The pies were done as soon as I was done eating the bbq chicken slice so it was perfect timing. This is now the third time I've been here and each time I've had a variety of slices, met really nice employees, and left full and happy. By far the best pizza place in dutchess county. Stop in and try all the slices. read more

Ordered a large pie to go. Spicy sausage and mushroom. $20 for a whole pie. It was a little light on the toppings as well as cheese. I ordered and waited just about 10 minutes for the wood fired pie to go. I will probably will look for another option next time. This is my go to pizza joint in my area. I absolutely love them. I order from them a lot off of DoorDash and am never disappointed. The pizza is so good. I usually order a personal pizza for myself and it normally comes with 4 slices but sometimes it comes with 6 and I appreciate that because I'm paying for the personal pie but it comes with more. The wings are so good and I actually prefer that the hot sauce is on the side because I can dip my wings in that and the blue cheese myself and it's not as messy. THIS! This right here is what I have been expecting from a New York pizza joint. Wow, I cannot say enough. Amazing people. They were all extremely nice AND the pizza was absolutely fantastic. THIS is the best pizza I have had since moving here in September and most certainly ranks in the top 1 or 2 EVER. I will DEF be bringing my wife here in the next few days. THIS was a quick lunch stop during work and it was agreed by all that it was top notch. I had a pan type pizza (don't know the name) and a chicken bacon ranch. We tried Florina's by ordering 3 large pizzas for the family. My credit card was charged 30 per cent more then prices on the menu, three pizzas for $87.00. When I asked the owner about this, the answer was: "This is how we do it here." Ask the price before placing an order! Better yet, stay away. Their pizzas were unappetizing soggy messes. Do not order pizza from here! I ordered pizza on door dash and Florina's completely messed up the order. When I called to see what they can do to fix it they said it was door dashes fault. Instead of showing customer service they put blame on others. Horrible experience and no help at all. Will not be going back again. read more

We stopped for the most basic of takeout: a large cheese pizza and caprese salad. The pizza was tasty and exactly what you would expect for a NY style. The caprese was large and fresh (4 slices of thick fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, kalamatas, etc) bedded on a pile of garnish iceburg. Often I have considered becoming a Pizzaterian... you know, someone who only eats pizza. The problem has always been that there needs to be more variety. Problem solved with Florina's Thin Crust Square pizzas. So far, the Shrimp a la Vodka is the family favorite with the Calamari Fra Diavolo and Margherita not too far behind. We plan to work our way thru all they offer because so far... so freaking good! Life is so much better with a place like Florina's in it. Tried their plain pie when Lil Jozeffs was closed for vacation n was hopefull but found it disappointing. Pie was salty and smelled heavily of garlic which I like However there was no garlic flavor to match the aroma. I realized then that they were using garlic salt and not fresh garlic. In all fairness if I had asked for fresh garlic on my pie I am sure they would Hve accommodated me Fresh garlic however gives it a sweet not salty flavor. Did not return there again because I don't like a salty pie especially due to garlic salt . It definitely takes away from the overall quality and dining experience They get a lot of drive up business so it appears that some folks like their offerings , I'm from NYC and am used to much better quality pies. This place is a hidden gem, I never get a bad meal there. The wood fired pizzas are great and the pizza maker is a really nice guy. If you live close to Fishkill then it's worth the trip. Even if you have to drive a half hour then I'd say it's still worth the trip. After reading the reviews for Florina's including some local critic reviews, I decided to give it a try with my father. It's a small pizzeria with minimal seating, however that does not take away from how absolutely blown away I was by the pizza. My father and I decided to sit in and enjoy a pie. After deciding on the Buffalo Chicken Wood Fired pie, we were treated to a small bite of cheese covered bread with seasoned oil for dipping. Fantastic little bite before our pie. The pizza came out very quick(within 10-15 minutes) and let me tell you it looked as good as it tasted. Fresh mozzarella, loads of buffalo sauced chicken, and a nice crispy crust made for an excellent pie. Super filling as well, not often do I walk into a pizzeria, order a full pie and leave with half the pie in tow! Will definitely come back soon! read more

All I have to say is WOW! We ordered take out and it was the best take out I've ever had. We ordered two things that are usually not ordered via take out: spaghetti and meatballs and chicken Marsala.
