Located in the Pacific Heights neighborhood, Florio is a charming French Italian restaurant with intimate, romantic atmosphere that's great for dinner date. I tried the special dinner dish that was offered that evening which was handcrafted bucatini with salted cod and it was delicious. Florio also offers modern cocktail drinks. Our server was very patient and accommodating and flexible to our request to slightly modify the classic Manhattan drink and the portion of the pasta. Overall, Florio is a fantastic choice for a romantic date night or a casual dinner with friends. With its diverse menu, impeccable service & warm yet inviting atmosphere, Florio is a must try restaurant in San Francisco.

Loved the papardelle pasta and the watermelon salad was pretty tasty too! This place is perfect for a weeknight dinner and the service was great!

I came here for a birthday dinner and it was my first time at this place. It's located on Fillmore street so there's several retail stores, other restaurants, and coffee shops nearby. Parking can be tough in this area. The restaurant sat us in a private room in the back. It's a table for 6-7. There was a heavy dark red curtain that enclosed the room. Our waiter was wonderful. I ended up ordering the Eggplant Parmesan. Unfortunately, I thought it was ok. I've had better elsewhere. The eggplant was cooked a little too much. I had trouble cutting it into little pieces because the skin was a little tough and the eggplant was drier than I would've liked; however, It was tasty still and I finished it. I thought it was a little pricey but everything is these days. I would come back again and maybe try the halibut or the spinach ravioli. Those were my other options. Some of my friends got that and they said it was delicious. I will probably order that next time I come back. It was pretty packed so if you can make a reservation, I would highly recommend that.

Very delicious food with limited outdoor seating, ample indoor seating. The osso buco was delicious as was the chicken. The pasta is freshly made and very tender and delicious. The stuffed squash blossoms were so tasty I didn't manage to get a picture before we ate them!

I don't understand why the reviews are so low. We had an amazing time there. Great spot, the food was very good, the service was fast and friendly. The barman John is beyond friendly. You should definitely try it out. I had steak frites and the chocolate desert. Home made. Super good

Classic San Francisco atmosphere with good Italian food, nice cocktails, & great service. No walk-in seating available at 6:15 on a Tuesday so we ate at the bar. John was an outstanding bartender. Personable, knowledgeable, and just like a true professional, he anticipated all our needs. He pours a great Gibson. The bar itself is beautiful polished wood with a tall well lit back bar and hooks for your coat or purse. Some of the food we ordered was fantastic. The highlights were the brocollini and the hanger steak. Would definitely recommend these both highly. Cacio y Pepe is one of my favorite pastas, and ever since eating it in Rome, I've tried to find it's equal in the states. Nearly every time I've ordered it I've been disappointed, and Florio's was no exception. The flavors of the cheese were perfectly sharp and bold, the pasta quality was very good, but it just didn't have the creamy sauce that this dish is supposed to have. That being said, I still ate every bite. :) We also met a few really friendly regulars at the bar. It feels like a great neighborhood spot for the locals. I wish it were in walking distance to my neighborhood.

Lasagna. Ricotta and parm on top only.

Very cool small bar and restaurant. Busy but not too busy. Eclectic menu. I had the asparagus "salad" and lasagna. Basically the asparagus was a vegetable sidedish. Crunchy...salad-like. But great flavor. I added a side of balsamic. Lasagna was so "gourmet". Small. Great presentation. Tasted yummy tho. 5 layers of homemade pasta, but meaty. It's not very cheesy. Ricotta and parm was a light layer on top. Being from NY, I was craving a big cheesy piece of 'zag! Not happening. Apple crisp for dessert with Gelato. Apple sauce with stale oatmeal crumb topping. Disappointing. Salad, lasagna and dessert $53.

Had dinner here last night before heading to see Los Lobos @ The Fillmore; ate at the bar. Bartender worked solo and was busy but his service was excellent. Had the Fuji apple salad with Gorgonzola and walnuts- delish and had the hanger steak with bearnaise sauce and pommes frites. I normally order steak medium but this time my SO asked for it medium well. Glad he did because it came medium rare. (Still good, just a little rare). Apple crisp dessert was sooooo good. The restaurant is small but it is lovely. Definitely recommend this neighborhood spot.

So while I can't speak to in person service or decor the delivery is on point. My peachy salad was just ok. The chicken was cold and not crunchy, and the cornbread crumbles were not crunchy at all, like kind of in between stale and crunchy... weird combo. Peaches and pickled onions were awesome though. The dressings that it came with which were a bbq sauce and some type of special ranch also were a weird combo, glad it was on the side vs in the salad itself otherwise I'm not sure I would have eaten it. Crispy cauliflower was good but definitely not crispy at all! Probably got softer on delivery but definitely not something that should be advertised as crispy when it's not... The saving item was my carrot ginger agua fresca- this was amazing! Loved it, that gets a 5/5. Food is 3/5.

Steak was barely flavorful, quite cold even though it was "cooked on the spot". The caramelized onions were cold and nothing out of this world - if anything because they were chilled, they lost a bit of their flavoring. The croutons were nonexistent, I almost had to go back and ask if they could add some until I found 3-4 at the very bottom of my bowl. A lot of greens which was good, good serving there. I got a side of focaccia and that was delicious (do wish they offered to toast it a bit, it'd be that much more yummy!). As for my other visits, same applies - unfortunately it's just an overpriced salad I know I can make better at home. Not to mention 1 of my visits was a pickup order and they completely forgot my dressing on the side. All in all, I am very let down by this place. Dare I say I love and prefer it to be Sweet Green. Bummer, I really was happy to have this in the area.

If you're craving something refreshing, light, and fruity, the Sonoma is a must. The pears take it to the next level and give it that perfect sweet, crisp bite that makes every forkful feel extra refreshing. It's the kind of bowl you order when you want to feel bright and satisfied. Now if you're in the mood for something warm, crunchy, and nutty, the Bangkok Bowl is your girl. The texture, the richness, the cozy vibes -- chef's kiss. It's hearty without being heavy and hits all the comfort-food notes. And can we talk about portions?! These bowls are NO joke. I swear I made a huge dent in mine, looked down thinking I was almost done... only to realize I basically still had a whole second meal left. Instant take-home win. On top of all that, the staff is super friendly, the space is clean, bright, and welcoming, and the whole experience just feels good from start to finish. I came for the seasonal menu but I'll definitely be back for everything else too. If you're debating what to order: Sonoma for fresh + fruity, Bangkok for warm + crunchy -- you truly can't go wrong!

When I called to place a pickup order, I was asked for my full credit card number and expiration date before I'd even finished ordering. I went along with it, but when they then asked for my CVV code too, I got uncomfortable and stopped. No legitimate phone ordering system needs your CVV read aloud over the phone; that's the kind of information you only enter yourself on a secure, encrypted checkout page. Asking for it verbally is a red flag for how they're handling (or storing) customer payment data. On top of that, the location was too busy for me to just park and order in person instead. I really wanted to try the food, but I'm not comfortable giving out full card details over the phone to a stranger, and I don't think other customers should be asked to either. The restaurant itself made a great first impression. It was clean, organized, and even had a nice little area set up for social media photos. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the presentation. I ordered the Mediterranean Bowl with Greek chicken. The chicken was dry, and it was obvious the seasoning had been sprinkled on after it was cooked instead of being cooked into the meat. I also ordered the Brussels sprouts and fried cauliflower. The Brussels sprouts looked perfectly crispy, which is exactly how they should have been, but they were soft and soggy instead. To make matters worse, the sauce was packed inside the same container, so the steam made them even soggier while also heating the small plastic sauce container inside. The fried cauliflower was equally disappointing. It looked crispy because of its golden brown color, but there wasn't a bit of crunch. Instead, it was oddly firm, almost al dente, making it feel more undercooked than fried. I also tried the garlic chicken soup, expecting something similar to Avgolemono. Instead, it was a thin, watered down broth with the same dry chicken pieces from the Mediterranean Bowl tossed in. The pita bread served with it was honestly the worst part of the meal and the only thing I threw away. Nothing was completely inedible, but for more than $60 worth of takeout, I expected food that matched the clean, inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. Sadly, this experience fell well short of that, and it's not a place I'll be returning to.

I came with a group of 7, and they were able to seat us pretty quickly. We ordered: A whole rotisserie chicken, the RTR Rice Bowl, the Chicken soup, the fried chicken sandwich, the seared broccoli, the rotisserie fat rice, and the shredded cabbage & almond. Best Dishes: The Rotisserie chicken and the Shredded cabbage & almond. The rotisserie chicken skin is really crispy and delicious, we were all fighting over who gets to eat the skin. The chicken is so juicy, it's really the best rotisserie chicken I've had. We understand why this place is so well regarded. The shredded cabbage is definitely the best side and we should've gotten another order, as we quickly finished ours and were basically licking the bowl clean. Worst: The rotisserie fat rice and the chicken soup. The rice was basically untouched and none of us wanted to eat it. It's ok, just falls short compared to the other sides. The soup was also ok, it's just a huge bowl and it felt like a waste stuffing ourselves with that when there were other better dishes. The rice bowl was pretty good, and is really good value.
