Country table, setting with sweeteners, hot sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper and flavored coffee creamers

Food is healthy and fresh; served quickly and with a friendly smile! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience? Down-Home country-good... Just like the southern cooking in George & Alabama.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Deelicious!

French toast combo

Came here this morning with my partner and wanted to give it a try. We came and were sat quickly. The waitress was really nice, took our order, and checked up on us frequently. I ordered the French toast combo with bacon and added hashbrowns and a cup of gravy on the side. The bacon was crispy, French toast was nice and fluffy, and the hash browns were delicious with gravy on top! I was impressed by the portion size as well. My partner ordered country fried steak combo with his biscuits and grave SOS style. He really enjoyed it and recommends those who love this style of gravy to come try it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]FYI this place gets packed! We came around 8:45ish when there wasn't many people around but when we left it was around 9:30 and it was packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place gives of homey vibes, I highly recommend it![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I finally tried it after years of passing by, ended up going in on a slow workday by myself, and I'm glad I did. The artichoke hearts were honestly one of the highlights, really well done. The beer selection is also unique and worth exploring if you're into trying something outside the usual. Service stood out too. I had a newer waitress who was still in training, and she handled everything really well. Attentive, polite, and didn't miss a step, which says a lot. The place itself is clean and has a classy feel without trying too hard. It's not somewhere I'd go all the time, but that's kind of the point. It feels more like a spot for special occasions or when you want something a little more unique and elevated than the usual rotation. Solid experience overall. 4 stars.

Fig and lavender infused (LI) goat cheese pizza was excellent. LI mixed drinks were very good, but the LI beer was a bit of a let down. Sour type beer is fine but lacked any lavender smell or taste. Maybe expecting too much. Advice- Use the washrooms in/by the old hotel lobby, avoid the ones on the side of building with the large Pennants saying 'restrooms.'...they are old hotel rooms with storage boxes all over. Note main food vendors by the music stage area but there are boutique vendors at one side of venue by the hotel, with the LI teas, coffees, ice cream etc. Most sell the same stuff ( teas, jams, olive oils, creams, lotions, nic-nacs, etc). Will go back again.

I'm sure a lot has been said already about HIGHLAND SPRINGS' FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS so I'll try not to bore you with a long and lengthy "this is what you can find here". I will try to give some tips though. - Come early. Yes, even before the lights turn on. This is beneficial for avoiding traffic, getting good parking spots, shorter food lines, shorter bathroom lines. - Get your food first. So you can walk off the calories. Also, because most people eat after an activity when they get hungry... and then the line will be super long. - Get whatever lavender they have. Hot cocoa, Latte... - Reserve a s'mores pit. When it's cold, it's the best. - Take pictures of everything everywhere. We consumed the following and they were GREAT! - Smoked Brisket Poutine - Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl - Lavender Latte - Lavender Hot Chocolate

We were visiting from out of town and wanted to be sure we had the correct hours of operation and instructions to pre-order a couple of their pies. Mandy was great and when we arrived on our pick-up day and time, the pies were ready to go for us, packaged with care and attention for our drive ahead (thanks to Linda as well!). While there, we wandered the grounds and thouroughly enjoyed everything. I always love and appreciate seeing colonial period architecture. Definitely check out Riley's Farm and all their wonderful reenactment and activities for the kiddos, too. Such a great place to visit.

Such a lovely themed restaurant!…read more We had the shepherds pie, corn chowder in a bread bowl, and the Oak Glen strawberry cider. Everything was genuinely so good! Even the complimentary bread was baked fresh and a unique taste- in a good way! The shepherds pie was perfectly seasoning, with the meat flavor carrying through the dish even when I only sampled the mashed potato part. The corn chowder was honestly one of the best soups I've had in my life, it was comforting and filling yet still light, with plenty of veggies (corn, potatoes) throughout- I think it was meant to include celery but maybe they ran out today? But I'm happy mine didn't come with celery haha! The waitress recommended the Oak Glen brand as it was the most popular, and gave us options between the seasonal, the "lighter flavor", and strawberry- we were very happy with the strawberry flavor!! The staff were friendly and so cute staying in character. They greeted & seated us as soon as we stepped in. Brought us waters and a complimentary bread bowl with an abundance of butter (some restaurants barely give any). And our order was delivered within 10-15 minutes They have live music playing throughout. The antique candle lights add to the vibes and aesthetic!

This is located in a small shopping center tucked around a corner. You can dine in or take your meal to go. We dined in, and this nice, casual spot has elements of Italy all over. For appetizers, we ordered the Fried Pickles and Sautéed Whole Mushrooms. My mother ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and I ordered their Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken, minus the broccoli. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided great service. The appetizers arrived, and we shared both. The fried pickle spears were delicious! Covered in a nice batter that didn't disintegrate upon eating. The sautéed mushrooms were seasoned to perfection, and I enjoyed every bite. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was larger than expected. My mother enjoyed every bite, and she had plenty left over to eat later. My dish arrived, and I knew that I was going to need a to-go box as well. The helping was generous, and the dish was a delight to eat. The soft strips of chicken were tender, the pasta was just right, and the seasonings were on point. The table next to us inquired as to what I had ordered. One of them ordered the same dish that I had- it looked that good! She agreed that it was delicious! The Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken was a winning dish for sure. We had plenty left over to enjoy later. Everything tasted just as good warmed up later that evening.
