I got a lemon meringue slice and it was incredible! So delicious! The meringue was perfect as well as the lemon filling. The cold pressed juice was yummy and I will definitely return. Friendly staff

Flour's newest location in the up and coming Boston Seaport has all the trappings of the older sister joints across the city, with the added benefit of the "hidden" locale nestled inside of the Boston Design Center. While this cafe hasn't quite hit the stride of the lightning fast and friendly service of my favorite Back Bay Flour, the food is consistent and the cafe itself is spacious and rarely crowded, even during lunch hour. While you might think you'll have to battle scads of hipsters to get your fill of their great menu, due to the number of permanent "food boxes" that line the Design Center's perimeter, you actually don't have to wait all that long! The menu features the usual Flour suspects, with a few seasonal twists thrown in for good measure. I visited on the first day that they debuted their Fall 2019 menu, and even though I didn't indulge, it sure looked yummy! The Smoked Salmon Quinoa Salad looked particularly winsome. Since it was 9 AM, I settled for a simple iced Mint Tea (a bit toothpaste-y for my taste, but the Herbal tea was pre-sweetened.. weird), and a fruit cup, which was tasty but pricy. Oh well, it did the trick to satiate the early morning hunger pangs. Next time, I'll probably get something more substantial and worth the money, like a house made breakfast sandwich or even a Baked French Toast if I'm in a holiday mood. If given the choice, I totally prefer the Back Bay or Central Square Flour to the Seaport outpost, but this'll do in a pinch. It's a nice oasis to stop at between meetings when you're visiting the Design Center, and I'm sure I'll be back soon!

Flour gets an award for the worlds most depressing $10 salad.

This place is awful, 40 minutes wait for a salad that doesn't even taste good, Give you like a teaspoon size of salad dressing. Way overrated, this place is lucky it's one of the only places located in a huge office building. Not return.

New digital menu board for the day's specials. Very easy to read.

Absolutely love this Flour location! I come here to work when I'm not in the office and love the staff here - very friendly, even when it's busy. This has been such a great addition to the Innovation and Design Building. The ambience is similar to other Flour locations but a bit newer/fancier, plus MORE ROOM! Yes, it can get crowded at lunchtime, but the space is great and well laid-out, so it doesn't get jam-packed like some of the other locations. I don't have to say much about the food - everyone knows it's awesome, par for the course from Joanne Chang (I keep hoping to see her here one day!). Their sandwiches are some of the best in Boston, although I'm disappointed that they discontinued one of my favorites, the curry chicken salad. There's plenty of other delectable options on the menu to keep me coming back for more. Lots of seating is available - high top and low tables, counter, and outdoor tables. It can get a little noisy - high ceilings create an echo chamber m, so bring headphones if you need to really concentrate and get work done. The only complaints that I have is that the bathrooms are not the cleanest (but they are part of the IDB, not actually in Flour) and I wish they had longer hours on the weekends. Those are minor nits - seriously this is one of the best spots for breakfast, lunch, and getting work done (with coffee and sweets to keep you going) in Boston.

The food was delicious: a very almond croissant, paired with wonderful green tea. The service quick and friendly, and the space cozy.

For takeout, I got a mango mousse (nicely tart), a crème brûlée kouign-amann, and a rose raspberry bowtie. Everything tasted delicious--just the right amount of sweetness, not overly sweet at all. On the second day, I ordered takeout again: an almond croissant, a rocket pop pain suisse, and the crème brûlée kouign-amann once more. Anne was polite, super friendly, and very helpful with menu recommendations. On the first day when I ordered takeout, Anne even kept the pastries chilled for me because I couldn't walk around the area carrying them in the intense heat without them spoiling before I reached the hotel. Truly the best and most helpful service!

The banana tastes nicely sweet and fresh, creamed with miso adding that hint of savory goodness and topped with caramel. The croissant was beautifully flakey, buttery. Altogether they make for a really refreshing treat, it's not too sweet, which, as we all know, is the highest form of compliment a treat can be! Upon walking in the shop I was greeted by several staff (in a graceful, friendly, not over the top way) which is lovely for a morning vibe where I'm still yet to get my caffeine fix. Just the right amount of love and jolly. I sat outside by the park/plaza to enjoy a nice morning with my coffee and this pastry. Excellent addition to the neighborhood!

I came here 4 times when in town for a conference, as this way super conveniently located to the conference center (Menino). It's open 7am-10pm daily, is always seemingly busy but always very efficient and fast to deliver orders, and has a huge amount of comfortable seating. First visit: I tried the vegan breakfast burrito ($12), a nicely designed burrito with tofu, potato, spinach, roasted red peppers, vegan cheese, and mushrooms, served with salsa on the side. Very solid burrito. The Spanish burrito I tried another day--which came with vegan meatballs of some sort--was even better. Second visit: I got an açai bowl ($9 for the small size; $12 for regular), and added vegan protein powder ($2) blended in. It came with açai blended with almond milk, banana, strawberries, blueberries, and granola. Real good and plentiful even for the small size. Third visit: just ordered a bagel with vegan cream cheese that had tomato in it, and added some spinach on top ($5.50 total). Very generous spinach portion (for $0.50!), well-toasted bagel, and an appropriate amount of cream cheese. Very tasty. Moreover, each time I visited, I ordered a double espresso ($3.50), which was excellent. Proper espresso, deep body, strong, served with sparkling water and a piece of dark chocolate.

I got a Spicy Greek Breakfast Wrap ($13, +$1.50 for egg white sub) and a Santorini Sunrise Yogurt Bowl ($12). The portions are gigantic and the food is fresh. The Platters, both the breakfast and mezze are gorgeous. Pictures attached. The interior has ample seating and is bright and beautiful. They also prep your food impressively quickly given how many orders they seem to get! They get BUSY but I get why - the food is so good.

First of all, the pastry case just beautifully displays all the baked goods. It's quite a sight to see! I love the variety and flavors, very unique. If you know what you want, gotta get in line and grab it quick! If you wanna put in your own order, you can use the kiosk, which is really fun to use. I ordered a chai with oat milk (it's very light in flavor) and got a bialy. Honestly I had not had a bialy in over 25+ years... and was surprised to see it in the case and I had to have it. A corn + cheddar bialy. It did NOT disappoint. I also got london fog with oat milk previously, also very nice, but this place was soooo good we had to come back. My daughter loves pop tarts so when she saw it in the case, she got a blueberry pop tart and said it was very flakey and the jam was very jamful. It was the-last-one, even had the sign stuck in it!! She also got the french toast (2 slices) with kid's milk and said it was the best french toast she's ever had. My sis got a chocolate pain suisse, which I had never seen before. It's basically brioche filled with pastry cream and chocolate. It looked delicious and with coffee, my sis ate the whole thing up. All in all, this place has so much delicious eats.. I can understand if you live here, you could come every morning and still not get to everything in the pastry case! Definitely be back if we're in the Boston area again.
