I liked the chopped style for salad and the dressing was garlicky good ... still tasting that garlic :) Very filling lunch. They also have wings & chicken tenders - perhaps another day. Greeted by Real People who know the drill and will happily take your order. (No robo kiosks here folks!) Order/pay at counter, delivered to your table. My Wife and I went to the Desert Ridge Location. As far as a pizza/appetizer location is concerned you cannot beat this little gem. The chicken tenders were just average as they weren't crispy enough or had enough meat compared to all the other chicken places opening up lately. Now I will say they were running a promo for July 4th at 50% off so I am reviewing this at the full price point of $100 bill. Pickup experience with the app and technology you think the experience will be flawless text to let them know you are on the way, text when you have arrived food delivered easy right. Nope not the case now we don't mind waiting but after we said we're there we waited 15-20mins once the food was delivered I would of expected it to be piping hot almost too much to take a bite and again sadly expectations we're not met the food was luke warm so question was what did we wait so long for??? Now to the food What we got - 1 truffle pizza, 1 supreme pizza, 5 piece tenders, 6 wings, 1 Caesar salad, and 1 Brussels salad Let's start with the supreme pizza both burnt and under cooked floppy so clearly not cooked enough and even though they put directions on the box I didn't wanna get home only to have to re cook the food I just paid to be cooked. Truffle pizza good flavor but again severely under cooked but at least this one wasn't burnt. 6 wings probably the best cooked items but again weren't hot had been sitting for some time and served in a plastic to go container there for steaming them and losing any crispness. Fyi don't order the buffalo sauce unless you like sweet sugary sauces it's not what you are expecting we'll at least it wasn't for me. 5 piece tenders are what you would expect decent fried food nothing to write home about but edible. However for full price I doubt I would ever order them. Finally the salads they are "Chopped" and in my opinion based upon todays order is to hide the low quality of produce they are using for the lettuce. 75% of the salads were core pieces of lettuce stems meaning the white flavorless part very little dark green in the Caesar salad the Brussels clearly I didn't read because I thought it would have Brussels sprouts and it doesn't but that's on me however again the arugula is the only decent greens the base is the same mostly cores and stems chopped up to hide the low quality fact. I know some people are super fans of this place and I'm sorry to say that there are many more amazing places to eat any and all of these items here in the valley. Sorry to say we won't be back any time soon if ever and I can assure you I would never pay full price for such a lackluster experience and generic food that even though may be hand made doesn't taste any better than frozen counterparts. read more

Good pizza for the style it is, which is a really thick crust. Typically not a fan of the thick crust but the dough they use is light and airy, not a real dense crust so I'll take it. No complaints on quality, pizza has been consistent and good. When I pick up the pizza, the woman that was working there (maybe the manager?) is extremely friendly and nice. read more

We recently discovered Fly Bye at Desert Ridge and are definitely fans! The chicken tenders a really good as are the fries, but our favorite is the (square) pizza. The edges have melted cheese and are crispy/crunchy - so good! The leftovers heat up really well too. This past weekend, we stopped by on my return from a cruise as I was craving the pizza. After waiting 10 or so minutes for the pizza to come out and it turned out there was a miscommunication on the order and had the wrong toppings on half of the pizza. The manager came out right away apologizing for the mishap and said was going to put in a whole new pizza. We appreciated the offer but told her we only needed the one half to be redone. When she came back out with the pizza, she said she had put in a whole pizza. . Needless to say, the pizza was great as usual and we now had extra to bring home since my husband had already polished off his (correct) side. This is how it's done!! Not only are all the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the manager's prompt, friendly resolution is something we don't see a lot of these days. Only halfway through my lunch and WOW! First, I can't believe all of this food for $10. A full container of Caesar salad and a "slice" of pizza.... which is more like 3 square pieces worth. A really great value! Second- really great, friendly, and fast service. My food was made fresh in about 10 minutes, the woman who assisted me was very kind and "on it" as soon as my food was ready to hand it off to me. Third- the actual food is really tasty. The pizza could use more sauce but the pepperoni was perfectly crisp and the salad was so good. I loved that the salad was already chopped up- no awkward giant salad bites where you end up with dressing all over your face. First time here, there were maybe 3 other parties there. AFTER I ordered and paid, the cashier asked if I wanted a water cup while I waited...said it would be 20-30 minutes!!! The wait ended up being 35 minutes for 2 PRE-MADE salads and an order of chicken strips. Salads were mediocre at best, chicken was terrible! I watched the cashier run his hands through his hair every 3 minutes and there was a guy working in the kitchen with long hair past his shoulders, he had a baseball cap on but his hair should have at least been tied back, preferrably a hair net!!! We love Fly Bye! The quality of the chicken is very high - rarely any fat and perfect amount of breading to meat ratio. First time going, and will likely be my last. Prices are extremely high. For the average small (12") pizza you should expect to pay north of $17. This definitely isn't a fast-causal competitor if you're looking for something affordable. I went there specifically for the fried chicken though, I heard they had Nashville Hot and I'm a sucker for it. Ordered the 3 piece strips tossed in the Nashville hot sauce, and it came with a side of fries. The total price was just under $10 with tax. I realized later there was no sauce. They charge $1 for any side of sauce. The fries and chicken were packaged in separate plastic boxes, with paper liners and a large paper bag. Quite a bit of packaging. Fries were very crispy, and seasoned well. These are the standard frozen, crinkle-cut fries you can pick up in the grocery store. Chicken was interesting. The breading was absolutely soggy, most likely because it was suffocated in the sealed plastic boxes with no ventilation in the lids. Breading basically peeled off as I picked it up, almost as if it were just a wet piece of skin. So I ordered Nashville Hot. I don't expect them to nail the flavor, most restaurants don't, but I'm almost wondering if they gave me a different flavor. It was a little spicy, but it tasted like a spicy orange chicken sauce. Very sweet, tangy, and the heat was hardly prominent. I'm confused. The quality of the chicken was lower than what I bought for my kids in my freezer. Next time I'll pop open the frozen strips and tots and make myself a better meal in the air-fryer. If I see this place, I'm going to just simply fly by in my car next time. read more

The BEST pizza I've ever had. The most impressive thing about this Fly Bye location is how much the staff, management and definitely Chef Hawken wants to please and make everything perfect. No, I'm not related to or personal friends with any of them. I have tremendous respect for them, though. Here's why... I have ALOT of food allergies. Eating food from a restaurant is a huge challenge. Getting the restaurant to modify a dish is a challenge. Not at this Fly Bye. I wanted to try the Pizza of the Month Butternut Squash Truffle Honey Pizza. The unmodified version has many allergens. Chef Hawken took the time and went over each ingredient and modified the pizza so I could safely eat it and enjoy it. It's fabulous and I have leftovers for tomorrow. He is so devoted to pleasing he even stood behind his modifications by telling me to let him known if I was dissatisfied in any way so that he could make me another pizza next time gratis. Nope, I'll be paying for the next one too because he nailed the flavor perfectly! My wife got the chicken parm Detroit style. Again, Chef went above and beyond making her favorite because this is not currently on the menu. It takes a village and Manager Madeline initially was helping me figure out the allergens but quickly suggested I speak to Chef Hawken for more details. I first off ordered through door dash. The dasher cancelled my order noting that Fly bye was closed...they didn't close for 4.5 hours! When I called Door dash they were zero help! They said they issued a refund to be sent in 3-5 days (nothing to expedite it), no credits would be given to me for the error or as a sorry for the inconvenience (so I could re order), just the stupidity of the dash driver, zero customer service, and a better luck next time from door dash! I called the restaurant and spoke with Valerie. She was warm, apologetic and understanding of my frustration. She called door dash herself to see if they could issue another driver. Already she was going above and beyond to try to fix the delivery for me. Valerie then called me back to apologize again and offered to personally drive my order to me and deliver it! I was amazed! Such incredible customer service is something that I wish there was more of in the world! I have been a customer service manager myself for more than 12 years, and after this one interaction I would hire Valerie on the spot if I could! The Pizza was hot and fresh and she even threw in a cookie as an additional plus!
