One of my preferred Flying Star locations in Albuquerque. They always have friendly staff, a large dining room with lots of tables and power outlets, and consistently delicious food. They have a decent size parking lot and some surrounding street parking, but can get full especially on the weekends. Usually I am a big fan of flying star, but this busy left me underwhelmed. The food took about 20 minutes to get to the table after ordering. I had the fish and chips and thought it was just alright. And of course there is the fabulous bakery case (I love the Greek yogurt cheesecake and the hubby loves their chocolate chip cookies). This isn't our usual Flying Star location. I thought it was good, but the hubs said he liked the food at the other location better. Some of the prices are a bit high, but how can you place a value on amazing chocolate cake? We all ordered coffee (2 mocha lattes and a cappuccino with vanilla syrup) and a variety of sweet treats (salted caramel chocolate blondie, pea an pie and an apple jumble). The service was friendly and convenient. They brought our drinks and food to the table. I really enjoyed my blondie. It was delicious!
