I last came here over a decade ago so it was nice to be back again. The inside is large with plenty of seating. The service here is decent and staff are just courteous without the friendliness. We chose the Churrasco experience which includes the salad bar area. I didn't want to get too full off of that and got a small plate with some items. The meats of course were the highlight. We enjoyed the lamb and Picahna (top sirloin) meats the best as they were seasoned well and tender. We also got dessert that we both enjoyed. Crème brûlée for me and my dining partner got their Tres Leches Cake. The Caipirinha cocktails were also quite good. It's a fun dining experience and we had a good time!

Food was great! I got the Chilean seabass which was a large portion and cooked to perfection. The salad bar was great but the hot appetizers were a little lacking. The cheese bread was hard and bitter. My companions got the AYCE and thought some of the meat was overcooked, but overall good. The inside is clean. Our waitress was good.

Me and my girlfriend came here for happy hour on a Friday, and boy let me tell y'all--parking was the only struggle because we weren't trying to pay, so we circled around for a bit. Once we got inside though, totally worth it. We ordered the strawberry hibiscus caipirinha and the gold rush--both solid choices and strong . For bar bites, we had the spiced chicken sliders (sooooo good and not fried ) and the Brazilian empanadas. The food hit the spot! The ambiance was really nice too--low lighting with some music playing, just a good vibe all around. The service was quick and had no issues.

Came on Saturday for happy hour, before getting the day started. Happy Hour all day. Mostly $6 HH food and drinks at $10 and other foods around $20 I had the caphrihina drink which was tasty and close enough to the drink I had in Brazil Shared HH food with a friend, and we were def. full before we left Seating came with table bread, that was kind of sweet and good Empanadas. Came in 6 small tasty empanadas Cheese with honey, was a little hard for me. I had this in Brazil also but here the top and bottom of the cheese was hard to even cut thru Steak, which was okay Clean space around the bar

4.26.25 Hubby and I came here before seeing a comedy show in Charm City. We got a gift card during the holidays so it was a nice treat to have dinner all paid for. The last time we were here years ago, we did the full churrasco that left us overstuffed to the point that we were uncomfortable so we decided on the single churrasco during this visit. Surprisingly, not sure if it was in error, but they came around and offered us more than our single cut in which we selected the Picanha and Fraldinha. I enjoyed the Fraldinha whereas hubby preferred the Picanha. The highlights for us from the Market Table and Feijoada Bar were: -Brown Sugar and Black Pepper Bacon - Hands down better than any of the meats or steaks. You must try and thank me later! -cheesy roll - These are complimentary and are brought to each table. It reminded me of a popover. Light and airy! -Tres Leches Cake - Oh so moist and simply perfection! (Not included with dinner.) -Tri-Bean Salad-I didn't have this, but hubby was really excited about it. What I was most impressed about is the exemplary service we received. The staff work together as a team, not individually. We regularly had different staff come around to replace our meats, take away our dirty plates, and to see if we needed anything. They really take care of their patrons. I don't even remember the last time that I received this level of service. It's something that you would only typically see at a five star establishment. Highly recommend! Everything was top-notch.

Family wanted to do Fogo for Thanksgiving brunch before the Ravens game. Made reservations and were seated right by away. Had a great time as always. They had turkey and some Thanksgiving inspired sides but other than that it was regular Fogo menu. Their picanha- top sirloin was my favorite. Service was great, our plates were always changed and glasses always fill. Staff were great.

Stopped by after a trip to the aquarium with my nephew and sister in law. The staff was accommodating of us walking in with no reservation and needing a high chair. Wait staff was regularly attentive and at least 3 different people checked in with us throughout the evening. Where this place falls short of other locations isnt service, but food quality. The arugula of the salad bar was entirely wilted, not exaggerating. So unappetizing looking. The feijoada was just black beans, not meat and lacked flavor. I told them twice and it was never replaced. Pão de Queijo tasted ok but got stale so fast.. microwaved to heat up? Many cuts of the meat were overcooked, chewey. I was so looking forward to their little chicken drums but instead they were passing out regular chicken legs. I will say the parmesan pork loin was the best thing we had all night, delicious! As were the Caipirinhas.

I HAVE to update my review without a doubt! Fogo has surprised me with a whole 360 from my last visit/review. When I say, they wanted to do better and improve, THEY DID! First of all, the manager Claudia, she saw my review on Yelp and on Google which was 3/5 stars. I never thought they were horrible, but there were things that needed improvements on. Also, the place is super clean! So, Claudia actually called me (I'm a rewards member) and she discussed my experience and offered me a gift card in the amount of my last meal and told me to inform her when I am coming back. This time, I came back for my fiancé birthday, and everything discussed was improved and much better and I believe that deserves a praise for sure. Upon arrival, there was not a bottle of $7 Saratoga still water on the table, this time we knew it was not complimentary. We had two servers (one might have been training) but they were both amazing. The best Brazil is a promo offering 12/16 cuts of meats from the full menu, and we enjoyed the entire experience. The meat runners informed us of how the meats were cooked (medium, medium well, etc.) so my family really enjoyed being informed. They also brought out a complimentary cheesecake for my fiancé birthday that was delicious! Overall, I had such a transformative experience and appreciated how management went above and beyond to fix the previous mistakes. I HIGHLY recommend coming here for a delicious Brazilian food experience!

    Tomahawk steak

Had the pleasure of dinning here earlier today and the experience was far from what I expected . Upon entrance we were greeted by the host and sat fairly quickly . Considering it was 3pm and all of two other tables in the restaurant I expected service to go smoothly . Instead we were treated by a server that barely spoke English and not attentive at all . My friend ordered the Tomahawk steak . First steak that comes out is not a tomahawk it's a ribeye and the server is confused and put in the wrong steak. The manager comes over addressed the issue and lets us know it'll be another 20 mins for the correct steak . 20 more minutes goes by and the steak finally comes out and what happened the guy cutting it DROPPED pieces on the floor and mumbled sorry and walked away . No accommodation just walked away now part of my $125 steak is on the floor . Tasteless experience 0/10 wouldn't recommend. I would hate to see how it's ran on a busy evening .

Fogo is slipping. This is seen mostly is. The fact that service is too fast and sloppy. The food still tastes the same. So, if you're ok dodging blood splatters and don't mind your meat occasionally dropping in the dripping pan, enjoy the meal!

The lamb chops on the bar menu are my favorite. I travel frequently and often seek these out specifically. The main attraction to this item is the mintchurri. While it is clearly stated on the menu that mintchurri is served with this item, it was not available. This happens far more often than I care to mention. Additionally they ask what temperature you want ehe lamb prepared and it is never, ever served medium as I always request. The service is often mediocre at best. And lastly, my bill was incorrect. The server promptly revised it. This is a chain and should be extremely consistent. Great restaurant and awesome concept but often falls flat.

Do they serve the Brazilian grilled pineapple?

Yes, the Boston Fogo de Chão served grilled pineapple on June 30, 2019 on a tray carried by a server. There was also a dark sauce that the diners could dip the pineapple in.

I can only eat some meats, very similar to a Kosher situation. How would I go about this while ordering? How does it work? I'm going with my colleagues for a late night weekend dinner so I don't want to make it look awkward.

I have been to this establishment every week for over 5 years. I loved bringing my 3 young children, husband and friends here. However, today I came here with my elderly, injured mother and my young daughter. A young Brazilian cashier with dark, curly hair spoke so disrespectfully to my mother! When I asked her to show some respect to elders (and injured elders at that), she refused to serve us and take our money. What kind of cashier speaks ill to their customers and refuses to take their money!? I feel really badly for the owner of Brazilian Bakery, because he hired a cashier who refuses to sell to his customer. She literally turned our $30 away. And only because I asked her to show some respect to my elderly mother. I was flabbergasted! I asked what is the problem? She said, "The only problem here is your annoying, stupid mother." Inside I wanted to punch her in the face, but because I have class and was raised better, I told her that she is what she called my mother! I promised her that I will inform her manager and other patrons about her awful customer service and disrespect. If you are Brazilian and crave Brazilian food, go to "By Brazil" or the cafe around the corner (Americas). Not only is the food there spectacular, their staff is so respectful and warm, and they never refuse to take your money! Be advised my fellow Brazilian neighbors!

There was a self-serve area for customers to get rice, beans, and other items. Behind the counter, there was a display with pastries and another with empanadas. I ordered one chicken and a ham and cheese. I also ordered two churros. Once I saw how cheap they were, I asked to add two more. I was accidentally charged for two more empanadas. I told the lady behind the register what happened and she denied that I was charged incorrectly and I had to explain a couple of times before someone else told her exactly what I already told her and she finally fixed it. Overall, I don't think I would go back to this particular location. The empanadas were good but the churros were cold and the customer service wasn't great.

When we were being brought to our seats, I noticed, toward the front of the restaurant, there were plenty of open tables but we were led all the way to the back. I had a funny feeling we wouldn't be greeted with random options of meat. The choices at the Salad Bar were less than usual. Made reservations 6 weeks in advance and we were brought all the way to the absolute back end of the restaurant. We very rarely saw a gaucho and our server had to ask us a few times what we were looking for to get a gaucho to come to the back of the restaurant. Even after all of that, the choices offered to us were very slim. the first thing I asked for was leg of lamb. By the time they got to us with the leg of lamb, it was nearly picked to the bone. Had to ask for a filet mignon and bacon wrapped filet. The bacon-wrapped filet was not a good cut of meat, had a lot of gristle in it, very hard to chew. The best two types of meat we had were the spicy sirloin and the flank steak. The flank steak nearly melted in my mouth. The filet mignon servings didn't taste like filet mignon at all. Most common filet mignon servings are 6-8 oz of meat and the servings provided to us were barely 2 oz in size and well overcooked. Not exactly sure what happened but they were not up to par that night. The end bill being close to $200 for two people (no drinks, two desserts) was a bit much. May still visit here on certain special occasions but it will not be a regular occasion. Still better than the experience we had at Fogo de Chao in National Harbor but the service was lacking pretty badly. This was a miss on their usual approach to satisfying their patrons. Again, the place was packed but putting people who made reservations 6 weeks early all the way at the back of the restaurant, literally within 5 steps of the back door, felt like a slap in the face to someone who wants to enjoy the full experience. The Manager never visited our table to check with us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I miss the Texas de Brazil that was in Washington, DC. They definitely showed everyone that they were the best in the area until the Pandemic.

The grilled pineapple was delicious too. The salad bar was plentiful and fresh but I would have liked another dressing choice. (perhaps replace one of the white ones with a tomato based) The mac and cheese was very tasty but cold. The buttered corn was a bit addictive and I ended up eating way too much of it. But my favorite food-and one that will draw me back, if only for carry out-was the creme brulee. I've had many of these over the years and never one this outstanding. The addition of the orange flavor to the burnt sugar topping is genius. I found the silly voices of the waiter as irritating as another reviewer on here. I came to the conclusion that it is not something the restaurant does but rather a quirk of this man. He was sweet and helpful so I think he has an unusual eccentricity. It was impossible to understand him when he switched voices. But it is not a deal breaker for us-service was outstanding and the proteins kept coming in rapid succession as long as our green box was up. Price is a bit of an issue. We can certainly afford $50 ish per person but as older patrons we just can't eat very much so it seems such a waste. (Wouldn't a senior citizen deal be a big draw???) Someone in the group noticed the swirling tornado of trash right outside the front door. That didn't bother me, though I could see how someone would think that represents overall management and attention to detail. Just like a previous reviewer upon seating we got our glasses of water but waited about 30 minutes AFTER we'd drunk the glasses dry to get another. At least two of us asked for a refill during that time. So that's quite poor in itself. The first round of meat was actually incredibly delicious (it's why I went from 1 to 1.5 stars before graciously rounding to 2. Yes this could have been a 1 star review). The following rounds ranged from ok-to-good but nothing made us say "wow". Here the Star Rating killers... and I'll start with the big one. Or should I say Bug One. After about two rounds I happened to look down at my salad and saw several fruit flies trying to escape. Either they wanted a better dressing or wanted to go back to the trough, I dunno but at least 3 were trying to get off my plate depressa. You'll ask why I didn't say anything? This dinner was a lovely treat from family members who I may never see again so I didn't want to ruin their gift. I was however watchful to make sure none in the party went for a second helping at the insect bar. 2: I know it's a Brazilian place and the music is trying to accommodate that but unchecked playing of Sepultura over the speakers is a tough bite to swallow at a "nice restaurant". I'm sure someone spotified "artists from Brazil" and simply pressed play. 3. It's actually filthy in there. Sorry but grease builds up.

The service was excellent and accommodating. I was impressed because I know large groups can be difficult to wait on, so was very pleased with the service and how quick they were to get our orders in and us served. We ordered a variety of appetizers, such as the the empanadas, calamari, and garlic shrimp. My favorite items were the empanadas and calamari, which were extra tasty with the accompanying sauces. We also ordered a variety of grilled meats, including the two large Parrillada meat platters and picanha . The accompanying sides we tried were the fries, cheese rice, fried yucca, and plantains. I really liked the plantains, but the cheese rice was not was I expected. It was more like grits than cheesy rice. The meats were cooked to how we requested it, and of course tastes especially good with the sauces. My favorite cuts were the strip steak, beef rib, and picanha. I didn't really care for the sweet breads, but that is a personal preference. Value wise, the Parrillada platters could easily feed 4 - 5 people, so we had plenty of leftovers. I would definitely recommend checking out La Estancia if you enjoy grilled meats!

They were not very busy when we arrived but remained attentive during our entire visit. The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious. We got a parrillada mixta, which means mixed grilled meats. It was superb! My husband had a cup of coffee, which was also good. Usually, restaurants go for generic coffee, and it's always overcooked. This was fresh and delicious. The restaurant is nicely decorated, music is playing, and there is a bar. It would be a great hang-out spot.

I enjoy how prompt and accommodating the servers are. There are also many sides at the salad bar which were pretty good. Another highlight was the elderflower and lemon martini...chef's kiss! Atmosphere 5/5 Wait staff 4/5 Salad bar 3.5/5 Everything was kept appealing. The protien offerings were seafood salad, lox, and sliced processed meats. The seafood salad was just OK. No pineapple, bacon, or chimchuri. The Cesar salad consisted of lettuce, parm cheese, and croutons. I suspect the dressing was full of thickeners and fillers with minimal real ingredients. Meats 2/5 Its been about a year since our last visit. Only 2 beef servers hit our table in our 45 minutes of dinning, the teeniest tiniest lamb chops twice, really small chicken wings once, and pineapple on scewers (what?? why? not on the salad bar?). No high end meat cuts or fish. The meats were salty with dull flavor. A glass of wine was skimpy. Mixed drinks - a full glass of ice to cut down on actual volume and we suspect house alcohol was watered down. No lobster bisque soup -which my favorite staple. .
