We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday, and everything was incredible from start to finish. We began with the brunch buffet, which featured made-to-order omelets and waffles, along with fresh salads, fruit, cheeses, and ham. The staff continuously brought around a variety of perfectly cooked meats, and my favorites were the filet mignon, ribeye, and picanha. We also ordered the seafood towers, which included chilled seafood like shrimp, oysters, clams, and lobster, as well as delicious grilled seafood options. The side dishes -- especially the cheese bread, mashed potatoes, and polenta -- complemented the meal perfectly. On top of the amazing food, the service was attentive, friendly, and very responsive throughout our visit. Came here on a Sunday afternoon after brunch hours for a couple of drinks and bar bites. It was CIAA weekend but wasn't busy so we found seats pretty easily at the bar. Service was a little slow by the bartender. I ordered lamb pops and she got the spinach dip along with capirinhas. A second bartender took over and she was a lot more friendly. The music in the background was lively. It was a lot more quiet than the other Fogos. Not sure if this is a typical for this location. read more

I last came here over a decade ago so it was nice to be back again. The inside is large with plenty of seating. The service here is decent and staff are just courteous without the friendliness. We chose the Churrasco experience which includes the salad bar area. I didn't want to get too full off of that and got a small plate with some items. The meats of course were the highlight. We enjoyed the lamb and Picahna (top sirloin) meats the best as they were seasoned well and tender. We also got dessert that we both enjoyed. Crème brûlée for me and my dining partner got their Tres Leches Cake. The Caipirinha cocktails were also quite good. It's a fun dining experience and we had a good time! read more

As a regular Fogo de chao customer, I have to say I'm very disappointed in this experience. Spent about 50 minutes with the medallion on the green side and couldn't get any of the cuts I wanted. There were maybe 1 or 2 gauchos on the floor at any given time. All that came around was over cooked picahna and dry Parmesan pork. I told the server I was waiting on filet, ribeye, and lamb chops. The filet came out about 10 mins later and it was tougher than the sirloin. I'm not sure where they're getting their filet mignon but that sure as hell wasn't it. And the rest didn't come. Apparently the sides don't come out automatically anymore, and the servers don't even ask if you want them. I spoke to a customer service rep and they took $25 off the bill, but I already had a promo for $25 off my dinner. I honestly barely ate and paid what I owed and left. I'm glad other locations are better since I don't live in Baltimore and was just visiting for the night. Won't be back at this location. read more

The drinks were so syrupy that they made me sick, so we decided to take our food to go. That turned out to be a huge mistake. When we got home, the tomahawk steak was completely raw in the middle, tough like boot leather everywhere else, and burnt around every edge. It was inedible. We were genuinely excited to try this restaurant, which made the experience even more disappointing. After spending around $280, we ended up eating cheesecake while the steak went in the trash. When we called to try to resolve the issue, we were told they don't give refunds on steaks, even when they're cooked this poorly. That was incredibly frustrating. The dining experience itself wasn't much better. They packed all five parties into one corner of the restaurant while the rest of the dining room sat largely empty, making it feel cramped and noisy. On top of that, the manager repeatedly interrupted our meal to upsell additional items. It reached the point where my partner and I couldn't even have a normal conversation without another sales pitch. Overall, what should have been a special dinner turned into a very expensive disappointment. The money would have been better spent paying a power bill than on a meal we couldn't enjoy. Food was great! I got the Chilean seabass which was a large portion and cooked to perfection. The salad bar was great but the hot appetizers were a little lacking. The cheese bread was hard and bitter. My companions got the AYCE and thought some of the meat was overcooked, but overall good. The inside is clean. Our waitress was good. read more

Me and my girlfriend came here for happy hour on a Friday, and boy let me tell y'all--parking was the only struggle because we weren't trying to pay, so we circled around for a bit. Once we got inside though, totally worth it. We ordered the strawberry hibiscus caipirinha and the gold rush--both solid choices and strong . For bar bites, we had the spiced chicken sliders (sooooo good and not fried ) and the Brazilian empanadas. The food hit the spot! You must try and thank me later! -cheesy roll - These are complimentary and are brought to each table. It reminded me of a popover. Light and airy! -Tres Leches Cake - Oh so moist and simply perfection! (Not included with dinner.) -Tri-Bean Salad-I didn't have this, but hubby was really excited about it. What I was most impressed about is the exemplary service we received. The staff work together as a team, not individually. Was very disappointed...were here yesterday to celebrate my sons college graduation with a group of 13 people. Spend over $1000 and it was so crowded you could barely move through the buffet. Buffet was constantly running out of many items including staples like bread and lettuce. But most disappointing was many of the meats which they advertised and we paid for were not available at all. They did not have rib eye or filet available at all...all evening. Even though we requested it repeatedly from the moment we sat down. Maybe they ran out (which they never admitted) but it was only 6pm on a Saturday evening so that is doubtful. Family wanted to do Fogo for Thanksgiving brunch before the Ravens game. Made reservations and were seated right by away. Had a great time as always. They had turkey and some Thanksgiving inspired sides but other than that it was regular Fogo menu. Their picanha- top sirloin was my favorite. Stopped by after a trip to the aquarium with my nephew and sister in law. The staff was accommodating of us walking in with no reservation and needing a high chair. Wait staff was regularly attentive and at least 3 different people checked in with us throughout the evening. Where this place falls short of other locations isnt service, but food quality. The arugula of the salad bar was entirely wilted, not exaggerating. So unappetizing looking. The feijoada was just black beans, not meat and lacked flavor. I told them twice and it was never replaced. Pão de Queijo tasted ok but got stale so fast.. microwaved to heat up? Many cuts of the meat were overcooked, chewey. I was so looking forward to their little chicken drums but instead they were passing out regular chicken legs. I will say the parmesan pork loin was the best thing we had all night, delicious! I HAVE to update my review without a doubt! Fogo has surprised me with a whole 360 from my last visit/review. When I say, they wanted to do better and improve, THEY DID! First of all, the manager Claudia, she saw my review on Yelp and on Google which was 3/5 stars. I never thought they were horrible, but there were things that needed improvements on. Also, the place is super clean! So, Claudia actually called me (I'm a rewards member) and she discussed my experience and offered me a gift card in the amount of my last meal and told me to inform her when I am coming back. This time, I came back for my fiancé birthday, and everything discussed was improved and much better and I believe that deserves a praise for sure. Upon arrival, there was not a bottle of $7 Saratoga still water on the table, this time we knew it was not complimentary. We had two servers (one might have been training) but they were both amazing. The best Brazil is a promo offering 12/16 cuts of meats from the full menu, and we enjoyed the entire experience. The meat runners informed us of how the meats were cooked (medium, medium well, etc.) so my family really enjoyed being informed. They also brought out a complimentary cheesecake for my fiancé birthday that was delicious! Overall, I had such a transformative experience and appreciated how management went above and beyond to fix the previous mistakes. The restaurant did not acknowledge our anniversary in any way, despite me adding it as a comment on the reservation, telling our waitress in person that it was our anniversary, and even reiterating that it was our anniversary when we got the check. I wasn't looking for a red carpet, but a simple dessert for us to share would have been nice. Furthermore, I found some of the meats to be either overcooked or undercooked. Some of the food was very salty. I saw other reviews where people received desserts for their anniversary. The restaurant is extremely popular, so if you are looking for something intimate or romantic, this is not it. Fogo is more casual and family friendly... Had the pleasure of dinning here earlier today and the experience was far from what I expected . Upon entrance we were greeted by the host and sat fairly quickly . Considering it was 3pm and all of two other tables in the restaurant I expected service to go smoothly . Instead we were treated by a server that barely spoke English and not attentive at all . My friend ordered the Tomahawk steak . First steak that comes out is not a tomahawk it's a ribeye and the server is confused and put in the wrong steak. The manager comes over addressed the issue and lets us know it'll be another 20 mins for the correct steak . 20 more minutes goes by and the steak finally comes out and what happened the guy cutting it DROPPED pieces on the floor and mumbled sorry and walked away . No accommodation just walked away now part of my $125 steak is on the floor . Tasteless experience 0/10 wouldn't recommend. I would hate to see how it's ran on a busy evening . read more

The lamb chops on the bar menu are my favorite. I travel frequently and often seek these out specifically. The main attraction to this item is the mintchurri. While it is clearly stated on the menu that mintchurri is served with this item, it was not available. This happens far more often than I care to mention. Additionally they ask what temperature you want ehe lamb prepared and it is never, ever served medium as I always request. The service is often mediocre at best. And lastly, my bill was incorrect. Went here for Mother's Day. Having 1 server for multiple large parties is totally insufficient. I had to ask the waiter for the normal side items (mashed potatoes, fried polenta, etc) that are supposed to come to the table with the full meat dinner service. I asked the waiter and a manager for lamb chops, they never came. I did get ribeye, but I had to ask the manager for it. This was an awful experience. Never received any form of apology or concession. While the service was insufficient, the lack of concern from the manager was a greater concern for me. Don't waste your money, time, or occasion. We came here yesterday, 5/17, to celebrate my sister's college graduation, and hands down it was the worst dining experience I've had in years. And at the cost of over $1,000 . After being sat, we were not greeted for ~20minutes. One server finally came by to ask if we wanted sparkling to still water; we never saw him again. Then 10 minutes pass and another server came and asked the same thing. I don't think we received water until almost an hour into the experience - the few alcoholic beverages we ordered didn't come out until much later. Half way through we asked for more water - which, again, didn't come until 30 minutes later. Our table maybe had 5 servers with meat come by - and only 1 offered steak (not the ribeye that was listed as an option). Despite asking many times after for them to bring by steak, it never came. They mostly only offered chicken or pork. And after all that is said, it wasn't even good food. Two of us had ordered the lobster tail - it was extremely underwhelming and certainly sat out from being cooked for a long time (which makes sense why we didn't get it until we were about to ask for the check). Then, one person ordered fish, and she didn't get it until roughly an hour after ordering and everyone else had finished their food. I'm praying this was just an off-night for this location. But I hope you (manager reading this) see this as a wake up call to prepare your staff better and start caring about your guests. read more

This was a different experience than I am accustomed to at Fogo de Chao. Compared to DC this location was all over the place. We never got a waitress until we brought it to the attention of customer service, Beatrice. She tried to make it right. I hope they have not started to take the customer for granted. The meat on every occasion was dry and unseasoned. I communicated this to Beatrice. She made us a very strong caprihinha (sp) which helped and she had the lamb and chicken seasoned and lamb recooked. I must say it was better. Thank you Beatrice. We never got water refilled. We never got plates changed out. A very different experience than what Fogo de Chao customarily offers. Ferdy, the manager finally got involved and we explained our concerns to him. He really listened and heard our concerns and made it right. I love Fogo de Chao and really want to go back but I want the experience to be what we are accustomed to. Thank you Ferdy and Beatrice, at the Baltimore location. My friend and I came here around 7:30 pm to enjoy the All Day Happy Hour. When we walked into the restaurant, there was a little wait before a hostess came to help us. We would've sat at the bar but it was nearly full. Once seated, our server Stephanie promptly greeted us. There were moments where we couldn't find our server especially when we were ready to order more food. However, other servers picked up the slack and checked in on us. We had the Brazilian Empanadas 9/10, Spiced Chicken Sliders 8/10, Crispy Yuca Fries 7/10, Lobster & Shrimp Tacos 7/10. We ordered another order of Brazilian Empanadas and an order of Saucy Legs (haven't tried it yet), both to go. We had one drink each, Caipirinha (8.5/10) and Strawberry Hibiscus Caipirinha (4/10). I had been to Chima in the past & thoroughly enjoyed that experience & if this experience was similar, I knew I was in for a good night. Espresso Martini - 3/5. It was good but it's my go to evening alcoholic beverage & I've had better. Waitress was friendly but struggled explaining the menu & checked on us sparingly. Decent service but nothing exceptional. There was a peculiar odor by our table, but the wait staff was kind enough to let us switch, which was really nice. Salad bar had everything, the street corn & chicken salad was good & my wife raved about it days later. As far as everything overall? What I will say is that we went on a busy Saturday night & it gave me college dining hall vibes. I didn't hate it but I definitely left a little disappointed as I was really excited about our date night. The food was ok. I feel like the same Parmesan pork, grilled sirloin and chicken breast were too heavily in rotation & I really would've liked some other beef. I finally got a piece of lamb later and that was really good. Nothing was terrible, but nothing wow'd me either. That said, I'd like to try again on a less busier day. And then the meat started coming out. Waiter after waiter walked by with a variety of juicy cuts, mostly beef, but also lamb, sausage, and bacon wrapped chicken. First, let's talk about the valet person the night of July 16, 2024, around 8 pm almost hitting my car (as he backed up) so I wouldn't park in a valet spot.... although I was trying to Valet. I opted for street parking for a fraction of the price. I got the normal AYCE Brazilian, and I've never experienced so much overcooked and underseasoned meat in a Brazilian steakhouse. This was my first time at. Brazilian steakhouse so I came in with empty stomach expecting to eat. The marketplace buffet had a variety of cold dishes such as chicken salad, grilled veggies, salad and other options. My favorite would be the chicken salad and the corn. There's also an omelette and waffle station where a server is making them fresh and made to order. She was kind enough to bring the omelet to our table so we didn't have to wait at the counter. Our table had fresh cheese bread, fried bananas and polenta, and mashed potatoes. The cheese bread was out of this world with the crunchy exterior and soft interior. I wasn't a huge fan of the bananas or polenta as they were very dry. It would've been nice to have some tomato sauce or a dip for the polenta. The mashed potatoes were okay, not terrible but just didn't stand out. Now to the part that I was most excited for- the meats!! The server came around with a rack of meats and you could choose if you wanted rare, medium or medium well. I think if you wanted well, they would have to bring it out separately. The meat was delicious but the issue was that barely any had come to our table. When the server did come by it would be the same cut of steak that had already been served. It was not a continuous service that I was expecting or that my table members who had been to other fogos were used to. We had to flag the server and ask him to try the other cuts. In addition, they were very slow to replace the bread and other dishes that were served to the table. We had to ask the servers for fresh bread multiple times as we had long waits between each meat dishes. The dessert was one of my favorite portions of the meals. I got the cream brûlée cheesecake which was absolutely delicious. The crust tasted like a warm toasted marshmallows. While the food we were able to try was delicious. The service was very slow when the restaurant was not even that full. The food was supposed to be continuous but it felt like it was our responsibility to tell the waiters to bring dishes out and get refills. read more

As a Latina that grew up near Newark, NJ, I've been to my fair share of Brazilian steakhouses, from small holes-in-the-wall to upscale restaurants. Fogo ranks in the middle of those two. Decor-wise, it is set up like an upscale restaurant, and the prices certainly reflect that. The cuts themselves range in quality, with some deliciously melting in my mouth (looking at you, bacon-wrapped steak) and others drier than a first-timer turkey. The hot table food (pão de queijo, etc.) is always amazing, but I find the market bar to be hit or miss depending on the day. The staff comes around QUICK, so make sure to pace yourself well or you will tap out early. Also, save room for dessert if you can because the Chocolate Brigadeiro cake is heavenly and definitely something to split with another. Overall, the food is good but the meats tend to run *very* salty and the prices are quite high. I'd really only recommend this place for a special occasion or during one of their promos (e.g., Best of Brazil or Restaurant Week). read more
