My boyfriend and I had reservations for Valentine's Day. Given that it's a major holiday, we knew it was going to be busy, but things were an absolute mess. Right when you come in, there's a huge crowd of people with reservations waiting to be seated. No real organization, just a guy calling out names from a list whom you can barely hear. However, at the same time, other hosts are just picking people out of the crowd to be seated. When I went up to ask about our reservation (which was for 7, at this point, it's 7:30), I was just kind of waved to the side and told to wait for him to call us...but then a host came up to seat us. Again, very disorganized. The service was just as disorganized and inconsistent: when we sat down, we were given forks and tongs, no knives, napkins, cups, or cards needed to order meat. I'd say it took us about 15 minutes and flagging down three different servers for us to finally put in our order and get what we needed; some people just started taking things from empty tables (napkins, utensils, cards) because they were tired of waiting. Some tables appeared to have a dedicated server, but for us and others, we had to constantly flag someone down. Even if we managed to flag someone down, there was no guarantee you'd see them again--we asked three different servers about an order we placed for bone marrow, we were told it would be 5 mins (that turned into 30), then another server said they were taking it off the grill, another server apologized for the delay and said she'd check on it...and then we never saw her the remainder of the night. We also didn't receive any of the sides that came with the full churrasco. Some tables got their sides right when they sat down, others had to flag down someone--a server offered us mashed potatoes right before we were about to leave . Again, I get that it was a holiday and they had significantly more customers than normal, but it seemed like nothing was done or put in place to help things run more smoothly. read more

Fogo has to be one of my favorite places for HH so far. But this time I arrived with my family in celebration of my brother's graduation! The manager of this location, McKenna is amazing , she made sure that my family was well taken care of, her professionalism and work ethic is extremely evident. Her staff seem to really love her and respect her. It's always a joy to see her. The ambiance is beautiful it was packed in there with other graduates and birthdays but it was still very comfortable. My family and I truly enjoyed our experience. Most of us chose the market Buffet and Full FOGO experience. Both the market buffet bar and the meat options were delectable. The servers catered to our table endlessly and it was much appreciated. Lamb, chicken breast, chicken thighs, chicken wrapped in bacon, Brazilian cheese with honey, steaks , the options were endless and we enjoyed every moment of it. By the end of dinner we were all stuffed lol My husband decided to order a separate entree from the menu , he ordered the Chilean sea bass and that was so so good, I'll definitely order that next time. It literally melted in my mouth like butter. This was definitely a remarkable way to honor and celebrate my brother's graduation. I know that he was pleased as well as the entire family. I came here with a girlfriend and was blatantly ignored after putting our food and drinks in. Once his regulars arrived he never even put our food order into the kitchen. Everyone else received plates. I am sure not interested in returning for bar service after this experience. Had a great time at my birthday dinner with family. Reservations are a must for this location and your party has to all be present before they will seat you. We had reservation for 7 pm. Everyone arrived by 7:10. They service was still great because unlike normal restaurants when you have a dedicated server here anyone and everyone will be stopping by to take care of you. I was surprised that the precise has gone up to $67 per person so it's not cheap. It also seems like there are less cuts of meat. I enjoyed the lamb chops and and the top sirloin. I was not a fan of the Parmesan pork but for some reason that was the one that came out the most. Overall a good evening. Recently hosted a party of 16 at FdC @Baltimore. As always, top-notch service and attention to detail. My party arrived after 4:30p. Bar opens at 4:30p. Restaurant at 5p. Servers brought us to our table shortly after 5p. The server came by within a few minutes of sitting at the table. Drinks were flowing as well as skewers of the finest proteins. All meat was seasoned perfectly. The salad bar was fresh. I appreciated the shrimp cocktail offering and chocolate espressos Martini offerings. Overall, great experience. Will visit again. Recently I came for the bar fogo event, Wagu and Wine! It was fun. I enjoy these bar events and will be on the lookout for more of them. Some of the items included bacon so I asked if they'd be willing to accommodate me. They sure did. I got to try meat without bacon. Thank you! The wine pours were too tiny though. Service was good. The manager personally walked around to check on patrons. I appreciated that. Parking around here is tight. They offer valet (cash only) for $15. I parked in the garage - $15! Warning, protein overdose, come hungry. We absolutely love Brazilian steakhouses. Approximately 10 years ago, my daughter and her boyfriend brought us here for the first when they met. Now we are back, full circle, a few weeks after their marriage. The food is still great, though significantly more expensive! The restaurant is right in downtown, so is tough to maneuver to through traffic. Parking, forget it, use their valet service. The service is terrific. In particular, our server Leslie, who was always there checking on us. The food was excellent as expected. My favorite are the lamb chops! We tried 3 desserts, creme brulle, key lime pie and cheese cake which were all delicious. The cappuccino was OK and there wasn't any raw brown sugar available for it. The evening was about celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday just to set the vibe of why we were there. We arrived on time valet parking is available and easy to do the gentleman was professional and quick. Once inside we were seated at a nice table with access to the room (salad bar or restroom). Here is where it starts to fade with service the staff was not very attentive, on more than one occasion I had to ask for items (the sides, bread, drink). It is extremely disappointing when other locations such as Washington DC the servers are very attentive to the customers needs. Which makes the experience even more desirable and inviting for future visits. What I noticed while I was there customer care managers take cellphone calls on the floor, servers walk by you do not ask if we need anything. Tighten the ship at this location so it can be as successful as other locations (National Harbor or Washington DC or Tysons Corner). When you go there be mindful of the service and provide your experience so those that come after you are aware of the service improving , getting worse or nothing changes. I have been spoiled by the other locations that provide seamless service from the managers such as Gilson, Fatima, Mav, and the continuous inaction from the servers. (DC location) This location has set the bar HIGH which is why I was disappointed with the Baltimore location the GM knows the DC location well and understands why I praise it. We were here to celebrate a birthday as we have done many times over the years. This was our first time leaving there disappointed. The service was not close to what we have previously experienced. Our water was not refreshed without asking. Plates stayed too long on the table when we were finished with them. The meat did not make it to our table with a good frequency and the choices were not as varied. Also some of the meat selections were too fatty or chewy. That was a big difference from the delectable meats to which we are accustomed. The salad bar did have great options as usual and the fejoida was excellent! This was actually my second time going, but the first time I didn't know anything about yelp, I would give this place five stars just due to their service, the ambience was pretty friendly and relaxed everyone was very Professional, and nobody was obnoxious in the restaurant, which is to be figured because of the price. The food was delicious. Had been some time since we visited Fogo. This time it was to celebrate a Birthday. We had a late Friday afternoon reservation at 5 which is when they open. Nice Bar area and larger dining room with a formal feel although most were dressed casually. We had a couple of parties ahead of us for seating so we went to the Bar and got cocktails from their "All Day" Happy Hour menu. Enjoyed both Jorge's Sour and Caipirinha. 4 of us ordered the full experience and one got the salad. The salad is overwhelming in a good way and would be fine alone as a meal but most of us came here for the Gaucho food. Our favorites for the meat were the Ribeye and Filet cuts. Sirloin, Pork cuts, chicken, Lamb as well wrapped in Bacon steaks (although well done) were available. Sausage was ok and they didn't have the spicy variety. Sides include their Pao de Quiejo (cheesy bread) and Grilled cheese which were both crowd favorites. Also, mashed potatoes and caramelized bananas. Service was excellent. They had a Cocktail cart for Table-side drinks and the Jumbo Shrimp cocktail appetizer looked enticing. If you don't want to do the "All you care to eat" experience, they do have a short list of entrees. Just as good as I remember! We came during restaurant which was a steal IMO. For $45, we were offered a great selection of meats, access to the salad bar, and a small serving of dessert. The staff was very thoughtful and asked what meats we wanted more of and they would be brought out within 10 minutes. We took dessert home, which were very small portions and not very good (compared to what I could remember from my last visit years ago). Not impressed. Our first time eating here, and will definitely be our last. I got chicken and it was very dry and no flavor. My husband got the wagyu ribeye and wasn't told until about 20 minutes in that they didn't have it, but could get the wagyu tomahawk that was not wagyu by any means, it smelled very weird and did not have a good flavor. I would say about every 2 to 3 minutes at least 2 people were coming to the table to ask us questions, not a great dining experience when you really can't have a conversation without getting interrupted every 2 minutes. read more

If you're not getting the full Charassco experience, you'll wait forever for your food or it won't come at all. The meats are really good but my friends who had been to other locations raved about the salad bar and all agreed that the one at this location was crap. Apparently this was the first ever really busy night this location had ever had because they could not handle the amount of people who were in the restaurant last night when we were there. The managers there were not accommodating at all. Some of our party had ordered entrees that never came and the manager acted like it was a big deal not to charge us for food we never got. Reservations for Valentine's Day, they over booked and the line was out the door and down the street just to check in for the reservation and then it was another 40 minute wait. Don't waste your money on a place that can't honor a reservation on a holiday where it's reservation only. I didn't eat here because it was already 30 minutes passed my reservation time when I was told "it's only a 40 minute wait, we're moving pretty fast!" But as we left, I used your bathroom and that made sure I'd never come back to this location again. That was the most foul bathroom I've been in, in a restaurant of your "caliber." Wonderful luncheon experience! We had the salad bar with the meats and really enjoyed the variety of options, the salad bar was primo, with delicious cheeses, tomato soup, candied bacon, bean salad, olives and papaya oh my it reminded me so much of my time in Hawaii love love love papaya! The meats service was exceptional plenty of various offerings enjoyed them all but especially the parmesan pork tenderloin. It was our anniversary and they graciously comped us a shared crème brûlée perfect ending for a good meal. The coffee service was a wonderful surprise fresh hot strong and rich just as we like it. Spent Father's Day here and it was packed!!! Came in at about 12:15 and nothing but chaos. We were seated quickly due to our reservation. The meats were amazing as usual and they were quick with the amount of people seated. I've never seen it so packed before but I commend them for doing a great job. One of the managers, Marcos came over and had an amazing conversation with us about their cheese puffs, and took care of us. Came in for a New Year's tradition I have with another couple. It's our favorite way to send off the old year with a completely decadent meal! I love this all-you-can-eat-meat buffet. We each got a different caiprinha and every one was delicious. They have a large selection of salad bar items (the chicken salad is pretty tasty this season, but I always get some salad, pineapple and asparagus to complement my meal), a soup of the day and rice & beans (fejeoda). They will also bring to your table some mashed potatoes, fried polenta, plantains and dinner rolls (so good, a whole dozen isn't enough, so I buy 3 dozen to take home). For any vegetarians, you're able to get just the salad bar with no meat and you'd have a lot of selections to choose from. Also, the rolls are gluten free for those with issues. Then you have the wide variety of meats. Some lean, some marbled, some covered in bacon. They have beef, chicken, pork, sausage and, my personal favorite, lamb. Try a bite of everything the first time, then keep a mental checklist (or saved in your phone) of what you liked most and what you feel you could skip the next time. They have multiple cuts of each meat. My personal favorites are the sirloin (top and bottom), parmesean crusted pork, lamb (leg and chops) and filet mignon. Also, sign up for the emails. They'll let you know when a deal is coming up. The staff are super friendly, they constantly check in with you to see if there's anything that you'd like to be brought by and making sure you have enough water, drinks and sides brought to your table. The manager, Beatriz, stopped by our table to make sure everything was excellent and to address any concerns we might have. He would take our order and come back to let us know that it was not available 5 minutes later each time. Every question needed clarification by his manager. Kitchen floor looked dirty. Today, It felt like we had the restaurant for ourselves for most of our visit, and Angie, Guadalupe, and Claudia, along with the gauchos, made us feel like celebrities with their exceptional service! We came to celebrate our anniversary! We always attend during restaurant week to get the full feel of fancy places. I would like to start with how amazing Ash was. She was very helpful and always on hand when needed. It is quiet loud because of all the conversations. Dress code depends on your event. Honestly since it was a buffet/all you can eat, I would recommend casual and no tight clothing. Get your moneys worth. I would say that the meat is always very medium or on the rarer side. It was hard to track down well done meat. They have a lot of pork options (including bacon wrapped) so we just took the bacon off. The chicken leg was amazing. The salad area buffet was amazing and always replenish with fresh items. Chicken salad was good, love the smoked salmon option, fruit was super sweet, nice variety of salad toppings and charcuterie style meats/cheese. Overall, it was a very nice evening for the price of restaurant week. Ash was wonderful! They do complimentary parking in the garage next to them or behind. Just look for the sign. I would recommend. Ok so we decided to try this place for our holiday dinner on Dec 24th, 2023. Reservations were made, and we arrived upon entry I was greeted and taken to my seat. I scanned the restaurant and meeeh...thought I'd see differently. Anyhow... the buffet didn't impress, and via the menu's how the meats are listed you'd think that you would see meat everywhere...All the meats!! No. Very disappointed, and as I sat there with my family, I decided against the buffet and chose and entree. OK, Salmon seems safe. I asked the young lady if I could SWITCH from Buffet to Salmon. On the menu it states it comes with Aparagus. She stated oh no we don't have any but we have Broccoli...nope. Then she proceeded to tell me the Salmon is not seasoned and I'd have to do it myself??? Huh? Ok smh and I'm hungry. What am I gonna do? So I say ok. Please have them put the salmon on a bed of rice and bring me some butter. She said ok and advised she could do melted butter. Meanwhile, I am tasting certain things my mom had from the meat selections. The best was the bacon wrapped chicken...very tender. The steaks and otherswere not my vibe of meat nor where they cooked how I like my meat cooked. There were certain meats I didn't see at all like ribs? Im glad we got there early! The burger was okay but severely under seasoned. It was disappointing because the burger was big and juicy but no flavor. The toppings they put on it could not take the place of salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. It was in dire need of the latter. The polenta fries didn't really have any flavor either. They were kinda hard with no seasoning. The Parmesan cheese on top did nothing in regards to enhancing flavor. I would not order this again! My friend said that she really liked her lamb chops. She was very satisfied!! Overall, I wouldn't come back on my own accord. And if I did maybe I'll partake in the full dining on someone else's tab! If you're familiar with Fogo de Chao, it's a must try. My advice, stay away from salad bar unless you need a break from all the steak. Servers come by your table to offer different meats cooked at different temperatures. The filet Mignon is delicious. I did have some meat that was more rare than medium rare. The temperature of meat was spot on more often then not. I loved the Guaracana soda, it's a little lighter than ginger ale, very tasty. I did go over to the salad bar after about 45 minutes, I neded a break from all that meat. I did enjoy the rice and beans, I only ate a little. If you have a special request, they will bring it. I highly recommend this restaurant but bring your appetite. It's well worth the cost. read more
