The ambiance was forgettable, I can't even tell you what the inside looked like. The rotating meats were absolutely delicious and came around very quickly! We loved the at your table bar service! The market fresh table for us was just ok, we never received any mashed potatoes or sides that I thought were included except a cheese bread? Maybe we had to ask for them? i came here for my bfs bday and reserved through open table. i let them know in the notes i wanted to surprise him. we came in at our reservation time and waited maybe 10 mins before we were seated. our first waitress was pretty nice, nothing notable though because we only saw her again 2 times after that. we were sat all the way in the back corner and there were about 1-2 meats coming by but it was still early. we did the churrasco experience. the food was pretty solid. cheese bread came out cold and they didnt offer any appetizers (until we were getting ready to leave someone noticed and that's when i found out there were any). it started to get busy and we still had our cards flipped on the green side, but no one came by us. we waited like 10 minutes until someone walked by and asked if we were looking for anything specific. i'm not sure if it's because we been there for an hour already, but we knew we hadnt tried everything. we ordered a second round of drinks which took about 15 minutes and probably had 2 meats come by. there were also ladies walking around making drinks and none of them came by us. its like they wanted us to go. they never came out with the things we requested, so we just asked for dessert. we had a different waitress who asked if we were celebrating anything to which i said no and that's when i knew they didn't get the memo. i went to the front and asked and they told they usually read it and know. i was disappointed when the dessert came out and nothing happened. i'm only rating it low because we chose this place for my boyfriend's birthday and we did not get any of that experience despite me making them aware. we were just put in the back and basically neglected. very unfortunate. read more

When I say it was a MAD HOUSE-- like akin to an overcrowded concert in the pit, maybe an apocalypse takeover, space mountain without a line organizer at Disney land on a Saturday-- I'm not joking. Imagine a lobby stuffed with bodies to bodies (touching mind you) and an amorphous mob just desperately trying to check-in. The line out the door was packed, someone pushed me to the side on entry because they were pushed also. For reference when we arrived, our booking was at 7:45 and they were JUST seating 6, 6:15, and 6:30. The hostess stand was yelling out names of people as if we were cattle (moo). If I were in their shoes I would be stressed as well with a mob of hungry and frustrated people undulating/pushing in front of me. If you are an all you can eat, there are many ways you can mitigate overcrowding. 1. Control your books 2. Send auto emails confirming seat times 3. Have table hour caps 4. Ensure you have enough food resources to ensure people are full early to expedite table turnover. A rookie move and a sign of extremely poor management. I emergency called Tavernetta and they were able to squeeze us in. Let's just say the experience between Tavernetta and this place.... Night and day. I promise no food is good enough to feel unsafe in a places own lobby. read more

This restaurant has gone so far downhill in the past three years since we were last in Denver. We used to rant and rave about just how much we loved this place, telling all of our friends traveling to Denver to make a stop, but WOW it has gone so far downhill. We booked our reservation well in advance, showed up to the restaurant and were told that no table was ready and ended up having to wait nearly 30 minutes to be seated. Once we sat down, it was clear that the entire staff was in a tizzy. You could see that they were visibly arguing and all angry with each other, making passive aggressive comments and the like. The food, with the exception of the Garlic Beef was completely under seasoned, had no flavor, and the poor picanha, each time it came round, was completely charred on the outside to the point that we had to cut a solid half-inch off of the sides just to make the seasonless med-rare interior even edible. There was a clear shortage of the cheese bread as when we asked for it the two times we did while we were there, we were told it would be a 10 minute wait each time. Towards the end of our meal, one of the managers actually yelled, in front of the entire restaurant, at a customer that was trying to walk out with the last two pieces of the bread they had at their table that would have been thrown away anyways. I personally cannot believe how far this place went down the drains, and am sorry to our server who was a kind older gentleman that was clearly too good to be working at this restaurant with the rest of the crass, rude and ill-mannered staff. I don't think we'll be back, and now our go-to recommendation is going to have to switch to a recommendation to stay far far away. read more

I have dined at several Fogo De Chao restaurants around the country, and this is one of my favorite. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The staff ensured you received the meat cuts you wanted, and they were very attentive. If you enjoy steak/meat this is definitely a place to try, also if you're vegetarian/vegan the salad bar that accompanies the meal is amazing. Brazilian Steakhouse. What can be bad about that? Nothing. This place is a little more upscale compared to Texas de Brazil, and Rodizio, and that's fine because the meats here were better as well. The food was just too good and the service was also great. Drinks were loaded, you get what you pay for here. The meats here are just cooked to perfection and they make sure they come around when they see your little token flipped over. The cheese bread was also great, way better than the others. We ate dinner on 2/13/25. It started with us reserving a table and waited an additional 20 min to be seated when there were only 8 tables full. When we went to the salad bar they did not have a large selection. They had no rice and we had to ask about that twice. It wasn't that good when we got it. When they came around with meat there was not much of a selection either. Sirloin came around 3 times, no chicken and only Parmesan pork. The rest was beef. You think for 5 people @ $70 a person. (paid $409.00) it would be managed better. Won't be back. Probably explains why there was not that many customers. They have really gone downhill. read more

Fogo is my favorite Brazilian spot in Denver. I have been here at least 5 times within the past year and each time the service has been excellent. I also always leave feeling full and satisfied! They have a regular menu option but I haven't explored it much. I once bought wagyu but I regret it because it made all of the meat I ate after taste inferior (duh). I am not sure if the regular menu changes often because I always go for the full Brazilian steakhouse experience to try different meat. I must say I will always come back for the Picana and Garlic Steak -- yum! I also enjoyed the filet minion. I appreciate that nothing was overcooked and everything had seasoning. Also don't forget the cheese bread! The full dining experience comes with unlimited cheese bread, mashed potatoes, and plantains for the table. It comes out nice and hot! As with most Brazilian steakhouses there's a selection of unlimited buffet style appetizers with the full dining experience. The selection here has a variety for everyone from salads to seafood and cheese board items. I think it's plenty to nibble with meat. However, I wish there were more hot food items. Also, I feel that quality of cheese can be improved. But overall, it was definitely a meal worth $50 and there's something for everyone. There are three sections to the restaurant. I enjoy sitting by the wine section when I'm on dates, the section right behind the buffet when I'm with my family, and I like the private rooms for large parties (15+ people). I'll return for the delicious food, attentive staff, and welcoming atmosphere. Next time I'll also check out their bar -- saw some drinks from another table that looked good. read more

Fogo de Chao is a good spot for steak to fulfil your meat cravings, but you can find better spots in town for good meat. I find that Fogo de Chao is overpriced for what it is at $58.50 for the full experience. You can also order additional items, but the price quickly adds up. When the waiters were coming around with seafood options, I found it pretty deceiving that they came and offered dishes to table that required to be purchased a la carte. We definitely made the mistake of grabbing a couple of shrimp dishes that were pretty expensive, when we thought they were included in our buffet price... The meal also comes with unlimited Brazilian cheese bread, polenta, mashed potatoes, and caramelized bananas... while they were delicious, beware of how they serve as quick "fillers." The restaurant is an interesting mix of formal, white tablecloth, dressed up waiters, but requires you to flag down your waiters to just get food. If you're up for having to wait and staying active to get the food you want, this might work for you. But if you want a laid back dinner where you can reliably get the food you want, this might not be the spot for you. Overall, it's worth checking out once and I think children would find this spot particularly amusing. Could also be a good, fun spot to take your team when you're not paying for this on your own dime. I wouldn't, however, recommend this spot as a nice date spot- there are much better spots where you can impress your date, unless your date is a carnivorous eater who prefers quantity over quality... read more

Holiday week is always tough to get a table at most higher end places so we were sure to set a reservation weeks before. Our party arrived exactly on time and when we checked in we were told there were 30(!) reservations ahead of us and it would be an hour and half wait. What is the meaning of a reservation if it isn't honored? It appeared from the way the lobby was packed with others awaiting their tables that this restaurant just took all the reservations that came in and didn't consider that they would not be able to cover them. Very unprofessional. Very frustrating experience. Never tasted the food because we took our group down the street to a competitor who seated us immediately and spent our $650 there. read more

This location has been consistently declining in service and food quality. I visited last night, there were crumbs on the table and a used glass of water when I was seated. The salad bar was good as usual but the meats were overcooked and overly salted. Asked for lamb but nobody ever brought it. Our original waitress ghosted us and finally another waiter came over and asked if we needed help. Asked how we'd rate the dining experience and I said not well. Oh, and a server brought some shrimp and asked if we'd like some. But it wasn't included in the "full experience" price. Very cheesy up-selling and a huge turn off. Another server had her cell phone hanging out of her back pocket. The waitstaff was quite the scrub crew overall. Fogo de Chão in Dallas TX was always an upscale fine dining experience. This is not the case with the Denver CO location. With a tip, it was $160-170 for two. Not worth the $$$ any longer for me to return, all things considered. read more

A cool white table cloth sit down restaurant. Skip the buffet and wait for the real deal - the steaks. All cuts of meat are not created equal - I really enjoyed the garlic butter steak and porter house. The fillet mignon was not seasoned and disappointed. I really can't recall the others. The winners for me were the grilled pineapple, sweet bananas and cheese bread. This is a nice treat for carnivores - you'll get lots of choices for a good price. The service was alright - most of the people were friendly and approachable. One of the steak service people was a bit rude - maybe it wasn't his day. My first time ever at Fogo De Chao and I have to say the experience was great! I didn't know what to expect from a Brazilian Steakhouse, but our server was amazing and explained how it all worked. I came here to celebrate an engagement dinner for one of my best friends. We all agreed to eat here and celebrate the night. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hosts and we decided to wait for our party before we all got seated. This is an all you can eat type of place, where it was $57.95 per person, but there were add ons you can have. We all opted to do the AYCE without any additions. What is included is the salad bar + the rotating meats from servers. The servers here are so nice and attentive! Every 2-3 minutes, we had servers coming left and right with meat and small appetizers throughout the night. I had to flip my card around so many times because I ended up getting so full, but I wanted to try everything. Looks are deceiving because I thought the serving sizes for each meat wouldn't get me full, but boy was I wrong. I probably expanded my stomach 10x that night. BUT LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT WHAT MADE MY NIGHT BETTER!! THEIR CARAMEL TRES LECHES CAKE. OMG I highly recommend this because this was probably the best tres leches cake I ever had! It was so soft, moist, and SOO milky/creamy. It was an absolute dream knowing that they had this dessert as an option. Overall, highly recommend coming here to eat! I was in Denver on a layover and decided to see if I cold get dinner here on a Friday night in November. I called ahead and asked if I needed a reservation, as a solo diner, who was about ten minutes out. The person who answered the phone said I should just come in and they'll have spots for a walk-in. So I headed there. Once I arrived I was told it's reservation only and one of the front of the house hostesses guessed who may have answered the phone and I corrected their guess saying I had spoken with a man. At that point I was rather hungry and chilly, having taken an Uber to a place that said I should come in. They seated me within five minutes. Whether or not you take walk-ins should be a pretty straightforward fact to train staff on. Bryson was the server who made my dinner very enjoyable and great. It was my first time at a Brazilian steakhouse and I went with the salad bar and the customary selection of meats option. Wish I was asked whether I wanted the fried polenta and fried bananas that were brought out to the table, this should be an option. Polenta was very bland and I know it sounds like an oxymoron but just trust me on this one. I enjoyed the salad bar selection, a slice of flank steak, a slice of sirloin, and a lamb chop. Fogo de Chao is always a consistently solid meal, and the Churrasco Experience is one of our go to's for celebrations. Unfortunately, we weren't seated until 30minutes after our reservation, which seemed to be the case for everyone with reservations. The manager made up for the delay by checking on us multiple times throughout the meal to make sure we were getting the cuts of meat we wanted. She also brought out our friend's birthday dessert with a candle and happy birthday message. We will be back! read more

On my most recent order today, I had the most delicious lamb and apple salad, and my boyfriend was impressed with his steak and mashed potatoes. The cheese bread has a taste and texture unrivaled by anywhere and the cheesecake is incredible with a texture that's light but still rich. Walking into the restaurant, I absolutely love the aesthetic and was warmly greeted by the staff. The service here is excellent and I had the privilege of speaking with Alex Who really went above and beyond to provide an incredible customer experience for me. They offer a "Brazilian Brunch Churrasco Experience", which is continuous all-you-can-eat tableside service of signature cuts of fire-roasted meats. It also includes their extensive, gourmet Brunch Market Table (salad bar) and Brazilian side dishes. The varieties of meat served included: Top Sirloin, Bottom Sirloin, Ribeye, Chicken Legs, Leg of Lamb, Lamb Chops, and Lamb Roast. The server would first ask if one would prefer a rare, medium, or well done selection, then freshly slice the meat off the spit. Multiple meat-servers would traverse around the dining room at any given time. The Brunch Market Table offers an impressive & extensive gourmet selections of, but not limited to: made-to-order omelettes station, fresh seasonal salads, exotic vegetables, seasonal fruit and berries, imported cheeses, smoked salmon, cured imported meats, seasonal soups, and more. If one chooses not to have meat, there's the option of just the Brunch Market Table which is their salad bar by itself. Monday through Friday, during lunch hours, one can choose their Market Table (salad bar) for the price of $15 per person, which is a fabulous buy.
