Not to be generous with the description, but when we were eating the salami from the salad bar - there was something not-chewable (not sure how else to describe it) in it we pulled out of our mouths like ribbon out of a magician's cap. The Chocolate Molten Cake was dry? I'm not crazy about having servers stand over my shoulder, waiting for me to write a Google review either. But, the nail in the coffin was finding out the water offered is NOT free. We were asked sparkling or still when we sat down, we said still. There was no mention of complementary tap, or perhaps a disclaimer that the water they offer does cost a few dollars per bottle. The worst experience we ever had at a Fogo de Chao. The staff was overstretched. They overbooked the restaurant, so the Gauchos were less than timely with the meat and when they did bring it it was RAW. At one Point I had to personally get up and get plates from the salad bar for my party of eight as they had taken away some soiled plates and five plus minutes had passed without them bringing fresh plates. My wife went to the salad bar, which was not impressive, to get some bread and butter, but they were out of bread at 7:30 pm. I'll begin with the fact that I have dined here twice in a weeks span. Once for a work party (which was scheduled in a special area) and once for a birthday celebration. The ambiance on Saturday night for the work party was loud and packed. Which for the company is good, but the tables are so close together you can barely move around the room. When I went on Sunday at 5pm it was a completely different place. Quiet and easy to talk with the people around you without yelling. For the work function, food was good, meats were a little on the fatty side but plenty of different types to try. Drinks were very slow to arrive. The waitress was hard to find and never around. Would forget things people asked for and basically just slow, didn't seem to have any urgency in her. Salad bar was worked over and looked like a raccoon tore through it. Totally different on Sunday. The staff was great. Meats were cut prefect and tasted great. One person had the salmon and said it was amazing. The salad bar was fresh and looked beautiful. I was offered a coupon for a free meal for the inconvenience told when Im ready to come back to call so that she, the manager could make my reservation. Forgot all about over the holidays reached out, shes no longer there, never received the coupon. Its not documented in their system, a book or anything. If I wasn't planning to return with a different group this time I WOULD NOT return. The only reason that I was returning was because I would've had a free coupon. Big problems here! After we arrived on time for our reservation, we waited and waited.... And we're seated 45 minutes after our reservation. The salad bar was much more limited selections than other Fogo de Chao restaurants. The servers did not bring meat to our table very often. The cuts of meat were limited. I came here with a friend for brunch on a Sunday. It's best to make a reservation so you do not have to wait. We chose to seat near the bar and the spacing was great. The service was awesome and the drinks were tasty. If your not a meater this is not the place for you...lol! However the salad bar was excellent I mean top tier!! Everything was fresh and a good variety of items. The carrot ginger soup was delicious I could have used more ginger but still delicious. All the was was seasoned and cooking temp was spot on...except the bacon wrap steak. The steak was so well/over done it was tough to chew. We were excited about dining at the new Fogo de Chão Steakhouse that recently opened in Towson. Fogo de Chão was founded in Southern Brazil in 1979 and our first experience with them was in Dallas, Texas in 1997. I had received an email from them inviting us to try a special offering called "The Best of Brazil" for $39 per person. Mention Best of Brazil when making your reservation to take advantage of this special deal. We had a 6:30 PM reservation for 4. They did finally seat me when my husband arrived from parking the car. Our friends arrived shortly thereafter. The restaurant was packed with a lively vibe. We were a little worried that we might not be able to converse because of the noise level, but they seated us up against an outside wall, and we were fine. They had nice cushions to provide comfort on the banquette. The restaurant is huge - over 7,924 square feet - very well appointed and decorated to the nines. The restaurant is known for offering continuous tableside service of several kinds of meats, slow-roasted over fire and carved right in front of you by gaucho chefs. You will see tongs at your table to take the meat from the gaucho chefs. They give you a disk that is red on one side (stop) and green (go) on the other side. That lets the gaucho chefs walking around to know if they should stop at your table to offer you what they have. You can request your meats cooked rare - medium rare - medium - well done. The knife and fork have a very interesting design along with some weight to them. We were pleased to see that they offered Happy Hour all day - South American Wines $8.00 - Beers $5.00 and $10.00 South American Cocktails. We placed our drink orders of two glasses of the Malbec, a Stella Artois Beer, and a Blood Orange Manhattan cocktail. Unfortunately, it seemed to take a long time for the drinks to arrive - the two glasses of wine and the beer. After asking 2 servers where the cocktail was, they brought a Bloody Mary. So, there was another wait before the correct cocktail was delivered to the table. All the beverages were very drinkable. Starting out, they placed 3 pieces of cheese bread on the table, which we thought that was odd as there were 4 of us. Then came the crispy polenta, mashed potatoes, and caramelized bananas. They did ask if we wanted them replaced several times. Off to a great start - we especially liked the mashed potatoes - so creamy and delicious. Your meal includes the Market Table (enormous salad bar) & Feijoada Bar, which is nothing short of overwhelming. You name it and it is on the table - they offer fresh seasonal salads, exotic vegetables, aged cheeses, smoked salmon, cured meats, seasonal soup, Fogo feijoada (traditional black bean stew with sausage) served with rice, fresh orange, farofa (baked yuca flour with bacon), and so much more. It is too easy to fill up here - so go easy at the Market Table. Our meat choices with The Best of Brazil were Picanha (Prime Part of the Top Sirloin) - Alcatra (Top Sirloin) - Fraldinha (Bottom Sirloin) - Medalhoes com Bacon (Bacon-Wrapped Chicken, Bacon-Wrapped Steak) - Cordeiro (Lamb Picanha) - Lombo (Pork) - Torresmo (Pork Belly) - Linguica (Spicy Pork Sausage) - Bisteca de Porco (Double Bone-In Pork Chop) - Frango (Chicken Breasts -Legs -Thighs) and Queijo Assado (Fire-Grilled Brazilian Cheese). Each and every piece we tried was perfectly seasoned and cooked to our liking. You can eat as much as you like. I was eager to try the Pork Belly and found it scrumptious - drizzled in honey and a squirt of lime juice. Our bad, we never thought to take pictures of our food! Marcos Bronco, the manager, stopped by and remembered that we had talked on the phone earlier in the week about having a quiet table. We told him we were very pleased with our meals, and that we were happy that where we were seated was perfectly fine. At the end, it took a long time to get our bills (we had asked for separate checks by couples when were seated). When we got them, the server had put the drinks on the wrong bills. It then took more time before the correct bills arrived. We were finally out of the restaurant around 8:45 pm and heading for the parking garage in Towson Town Center. Unfortunately, the Mall management had already locked the doors to the Mall! It would have been a really long walk to get to our cars, but fortunately, we were allowed to walk through The Cheesecake Factory, which had a side door into the Mall. read more

Allow me to give you my back story. Stationed in Okinawa, Japan I visited this Brazilian BBQ restaurant one time by chance. It was amazing with the variety of food and value. The grilled pineapple was amazing as they cut the pineapple of the spit just like the meats. I have always said that we need a place like this in America. BOOM! Here I am! Great place and why is it that there isn't one in every town? Except for the waiting for a table this is a place that everyone needs to patronize weekly. I came to Full of shit de chao to treat myself on my birthday--and this was by far one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever had. From the start, I was met with dismissiveness and a complete lack of awareness. Staff members repeatedly invaded my space. At one point, a waiter literally stood with his backside inches from my face while I was seated--not once, but twice. I had to ask him to move because he didn't even notice, which shows how little attention is given to solo guests. When I brought it to the manager's attention, he gave me zero real acknowledgment or resolution. Instead, he handed me his business card in a passive-aggressive way, as if that somehow made things right. No apology. No compensation. No genuine care. Just vibes. Bad ones. But the final straw? The table next to me--who also had a birthday--received a cake and full acknowledgment. I made it very clear when booking that it was my birthday, and yet no one even said a word to me the entire night. I felt completely invisible. For a restaurant that claims to be high-end and customer-focused, they failed on every level. If you're a solo diner--especially a woman--don't expect to be treated equally here. The food was good but if the get the table card for meats seat placement is key. We sat near the salad bar with 2 separate groups and we all complained about a few of the servers not even looking our way. Our waiter was great at assisting. We agreed that when we. Work in progress- I felt so sorry for the hostesses and servers that had to deal with the myriads of people standing waiting to get serviced. We had a reservation for 5:45 and it took over 40 minutes to get seated. We asked for wine and waters that took forever to arrive; by the time the wine came, we were almost 3/4 of the way done. The place is poorly designed; with a small entrance that was packed with people, and a hard-to-access salad bar, it was just crammed in there. I never saw a manager walk by to help the front of the house, and sadly the servers are the ones who end up paying for it. This place needs management to get their things together and they need to be able to honor reservations; waiting 40 minutes for a reservation is unacceptable. The food is their saving grace and the reason why I am giving 3 stars and not 1. I really hope they can figure this out. read more

They were super attentive and were constantly checking in on us and bringing us refills and sides, It was well worth the experience they constantly brought over and offer us different cuts my plate was full the whole time with new things to try! This was not at all what we experienced while there. The service was horrible! Most of the time we were ignored as very few waiters walked around offering meat. Continuous tableside carving was definitely not happening that day! After being there for two hours we finally had to flag someone down to get our check and then waited 30 more minutes for them to bring it to our table. The Towson location opened a few months ago so we were waiting for the hype to go down a little bit to check out the new location. We were not disappointed! Service was impeccable. Drinks came and refills were brought without having to ask. Sides, especially the cheese bread, were refilled quickly. Dirty plates were taken away and replaced with clean ones every now and then. The meats were cooked perfectly, albeit some were a little bland - nothing that a few shakes of salt and pepper couldn't fix. We got all the cuts we wanted at the temperature we requested. The servers also came around to ask if there is anything we were waiting for and made sure it came to our table. The only complaint was the overall spacing. It's a little smaller than other Fogo de Chaos we've been to and they tried to get as many tables in as possible. Walking in between the tables was fine but the salad bar area can get congested. There is also no clear direction so there could be a lot of bumping into other guests. The restaurant sits on the outside of the mall with no entrance from the inside. You'll have to park in the mall garage, go through the mall then go outside to get to the restaurant. Not that big of a deal, but we just thought there would be an entrance from inside the mall. I am excited that this location opened up. I hope that the service and food quality is maintained. A lot of restaurants start off well but then everything goes down after a while. read more

Thr brunch bar had a variety of items including omelette stations, various salads, and meats. There were plenty of veggie options available as well. While seated, the meat options came out fairly quickly. I would say, even though the signs indicated that I was done with the meat, servers still asked what I want, so just be conscious of that. I reserved this place two weeks ago and promoted price is $49 per person. Three of my family went there to celebrate Father's Day. After we arrived there today. They're very crowded . We checked in and waited for 30 minutes more. They are greedy to overbook. Finally I complained to manager and then he set up a table for us. Later on we asked waitress about price and she said each person is $65 NOT $49. It's really cheating business. The second thing is they don't always pass your table to ask if you need this meat. Only unwelcome food they asked you. The third thing is meats are overcooked. Medium rare meat is like over medium meat.Meats quality is so so only. Salad bar is like junk food is very terrible compared with New York ones. Plus they don't provide too many choices. Dinning place is like Asia country night market. Any time you need water and you must ask first. They don't care their services. Meat servers are like without head fly never check which areas they need to provide food first. Went for Christmas Dinner and such a disappointment. $200.00 for 3 of us and only 1 of us ordered any meat. The person that ordered meat could hardly eat any because it was either dripping in fatty grease or bloody rare. The one meat that he liked only came around the table twice. The service was just "okay". The two of us that don't eat meat ordered lobster tails and they were tiny side "add-on" tails that were over boiled. The butter they came in was hardly detectable, so we had to ask for a side of melted butter and by the time we got it, our mini lobster tail was cold. The salad bar is interesting. You've got to like to "try" lots of interesting items in order to find a few you may like. The fresh fruit is always a hit! Not a fan of Fogo de Chao and will not be going back. Dinner STARTS at 3 pm so we made a reservation before then. We didn't want to dine in a hectic environment. We were seated within 2 minutes of arrival. Customer service was excellent and the entire staff was attentive. The men who provided table side meat service were just as friendly as everyone else. The food was delicious but some of the meat was disappointing. The lamb chops were bland and the Parmesan crusted pork was too crunchy throughout and dry but all other food was tasty! At the salad bar try the Butternut Squash Soup, kale salad, pineapple mint lemonade, Brazilian lemonade, and caramelized bananas. The atmosphere was okay but not what was experienced at other locations. It was not as upscale and classy as I expected.
