Good overall but this place has slipped. Sunday night. When we drove up there was no sign of anyone at the Valet... and no one showed up after waiting for a reasonable amount of time, so I parked the car myself. After walking back to the entrance from my car, still no sign of a valet. We had OpenTable reservations for 8pm but had to wait until almost 9pm to be seated. The receptionist podium was attended by aloof girls on their cell phones. We did get an acceptable table and a good waiter. In general, the meats were overcooked. Next time, we will be trying a different location in the suburbs where I suppose the stiffer competition keeps standards a bit higher. read more

READ THIS.... I've been eating hear for years. It's still consistent quality and service. Unlike a steakhouse, you get many meats to try and at the cook you prefer. Wines are great as are the desserts. Solid bar is huge. FYI, if you want steamed asparagus, get if from the salad bar and ask the waiter to have the kitchen steam it - they will do it!!! YEA! The bread is out of this world delicious. If you get the leg of lamb or lamb loin... ask for mint jelly. They will bring it out - and it's fabulous with lamb. Took my Pops here for a Fathers Day celebration, wow what a treat! The ambiance is a nice traditional setting, great place for a date night or family gathering. Noise level is acceptable, you can at least have a conversation with those at your table. The absolute BEST salad bar I've had in a long time! I could have just gone back to that bar over and over. Things were fresh and cold. Had items not seen on other bars that were so good (don't skip the apple salad!). I'm not a meat eater but the have seafood and vegetarian options so I got Chilean Sea Bass and it to soft and buttery. The men with me tried everything....beef, pork, chicken. They said everything tried was hot, cooked perfectly, and taste was wonderful. They serve your meal with killer mashed potatoes, bread, polenta and warm bananas/plantains. Staff is super prompt with your needs, removing plates when finished and filled glasses when needed, but also so incredibly friendly Made this special day even more special, and was the BEST meal we've had in a long time! I had a wonderful experience here tonight. Yelp hosted an event for Elites that included a meal, 2 drinks, and a dessert. I was also able to bring a guest. Two of my friends are Elites and they brought our friends, and it was such a fun day of friendship! Food: hot dog, this food was good. The salad bar had amazing cheeses, salmon, and the ever so popular candied bacon. All the meat was superb, I really enjoyed the sausage and the lamb chop. I got the key lime pie and it was the perfect light ending to my meal. Service: they treated us very well (perhaps because they knew we were going to review) but it was lovely all the same. A group of us went to Fogo for dinner. We were seated in a comfortable room with long tables. The staff was on top of everything bringing round after round of grilled meats on skewers. We had garlic steak, Parmesan encrusted pork loin, chicken thighs, and lamb. The staff would continue to serve until each guest turned a coaster over revealing a red underside. Very disappointing experience on 7/17!!! I've been to numerous Fogo de Chao restaurants before and this one did not live up to the expectations. Usually You know what you'll get when you come Fogo - great service and good food. However, this location definitely lacked on the service part. And they weren't even busy! Greeted by a server name, Eric, and he was friendly at first. Brought us the usual salad options(due to covid you can't go up anymore), fried plantains, and mash. He informed us that there will be multiple servers around to help out just like every other Fogo I ever been too. This location didn't give us the coin flip (idk if that's a company wide thing) but the coin usually let people know whether we want more food or not. We decided we wanted to go on to the meats but had to search for Eric, since the other 2 server on our side of the room seemed to be too busy talking to each other. After flagging down Eric and letting him know we wanted the meats he said he would inform the guys bringing the food around. We had 2 gentleman stop by our table for the next 20 mins... and if you ever been to Fogo you'll know they'll cut you 1-2 pieces and keep it moving. So of course, we were left looking around with empty plates and seeing them continuously walk pass us and go to the same tables over and over. I had to flag Eric down again, and asked him if he could send over certain cut of meats (filet, sirloin, and etc) and his response to me was they are going around. And I told him well we haven't had anyone come over in a while... ERIC DID NOT COME BACK TO OUR TABLE FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT AFTER THAT! Until it was time for the check... For the rest of the night, I watched as he stood there and talked to this other girl waitress or went to 2 other tables. We wanted more mash and it got to the point where we didn't even want it anymore Another server , Luis (had to ask the hostess for his name as I was leaving), walked by our table and asked if he could get us anything because he obviously saw we were looking around... and he grabbed us new plates. he was working on the other side of the dining room by the way! Luis, one of the managers, was also very very helpful. He took care of our table more than our server did. He came over towards the end and I had to ask for his name and he ended up giving me his card. Eric didn't seem too happy about the tip I left due to the lack of service. Dropping off my receipt, only saying "goodnight" and walked off. He didn't say "thank you" or "have a good night" Safe to say, I would have rather spent that amount somewhere else with a more attentive waitstaff! What a crappy experience! Had a great dinner here during Restaurant Week. For $39 a person you get basically the full experience, just without some of the more expensive cuts of meat. Salad bar, sides, meat, dessert all included. Due to COVID they were serving people at the salad bar but that was fine; you just walked through with them and specified what you wanted. I have learned not to fill up on salad at this type of restaurant. :) I think Fogo has better sides than many similar Brazilian steakhouses. Mashed potatoes to die for with a ton of butter in them. Little sticks of fried polenta sprinkled with parmesan. Popovers. Sweet plantains. Their house beef, I forget what it is called, was my favorite of the meats. Also the bacon wrapped sirloin was delicious. The chicken wrapped sirloin was a little dry. Dessert was OK but nothing special. But that's not what I go to a place like this for; if it wasn't included, I wouldn't have even thought about dessert. Good service and a nice relaxed atmosphere. My husband took to Fogo after the death of a loved one. He was keeping me busy going different places and doing different things. I had never been to Fogo so he wanted to change that. First, when walking in, since it was Fall/Winter, they had the hot Brazilian cider at the hostess desk. Yum!! That's my kinda entrance. We sat down and the place wasn't overly crowded. We were quick to be attended to. The salad bar is a dream! I love all the choices of fruit, cheese, salads, veggies etc. you name it, it was there. They bring you fried bananas, mashed potatoes and bread to the table. This is to go along with the many different cuts and types of meat coming your way. My favorite meat was the lamb. It was made to perfection. No judgement by the staff, they want to feed you well. I was in a carnivores paradise! Oh my Heavens I loved it! It was all delicious. To my surprise we had room for desert. We had the crème brûlée and it was big enough for two. We also had the papaya cream which is my new favorite. The waiter said the papaya cream helps digestion. I don't know if that's true but it certainly put a smile on my face. They have a lemonade which tastes like a cream lemonade and they keep refilling your cup. It's delicious! Bad experience. Service terrible. Food quality poor and now it's the day after and feeling ill-- served what looked like old meat (filet). Most of the cuts were well done, which if it were slightly old meat, would make sense that they are trying to thoroughly cook it. Even the drinks were sub par. I received another drink and had it for about 15 minutes before we asked another server and they brought the birthday girl hers, both drinks were ordered at the same time. I feel the need to mention that 2 waitresses were friendly (one got us the drink above quickly, after being asked) and the meat servers were pretty on it. I love Fogo and this speaks double for the hubby. Dining offers all you care to eat high quality meat including the house specialty picanha sirloin (hubby's absolute fave), filet mignon, ribeye, and lamb chops too. I touched on likely only half the meats featured at Fogo. Oh, but, hold the phone, Fogo de BEST offers an elegant gourmet Salad Bar and Market Table. Prior to the arrival of meat, I dined on an array of salads greens, grilled pineapple, roasted peppers, cheeses, soups, fresh vegetables, and black bean stew. My friend took me to an amazing streakhouse for my birthday. I had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before so this was a first tome experience for me. You are immediately sat down and they start you off with your greens and cheeses. It is unlimited eating of everything as you are charged by the person, not by the entree. Be prepared to come hungry to get your monies worth! Next, you are served the potatoes and the meats. They have different cuts and types of meats that they walk around with. They have bacon wrapped-chickens and different varieties of steaks to choose from. They cook it varying from medium rare to well done. With any steak, I always suggest you get it medium-rare. It tends to be the most juiciest and tastiest. Be sure of COVID-19, be prepared to wear your mask inside while you're waiting and to your table. If you do not have a mask, don't worry, you will not be turned away. All of their alcohol is Brazilian authentic and reasonably priced. Their cocktails weren't too sweet and not too bitter. I guess it depends on what taste you prefer. Service was superb. We stayed after closing and they did not rush me at all. They even sang happy birthday to me which was nice. The only tip I had for my waiter is, please do not walk off before I am finished speaking - LOL. read more

Great date spot, the atmosphere is very classy and romantic, and they have one of the biggest salad bars I've ever seen. Our waitress explained how everything worked to us and came back multiple times to check if there was any meat in particular we wanted. The people walking around with the meat are very nice as well. My one complaint is the taste of the meat itself. In a steakhouse, especially one this expensive, the meat should taste amazing. Another thing about a steakhouse like this one is you can try all different types of meat. But unfortunately, almost all of the cuts of meat tasted the same to me, under seasoned and a bit over salted. There was one cut in particular (I can't remember which one) where I bit down into what was a very tender piece of meat, but there was still salt on the outside that made it crunch instead. Even my favorite cut of meat, the bacon-wrapped steak, only tasted slightly above average, and definitely something I could get elsewhere. The service was great, the salad bar was great, the desert was amazing, but unfortunately the meat was just lacking and in a steakhouse, it should be the star of the show. read more

We have eaten at several Fogo locations in the metro and always liked it. Stepping in THIS location, you are greeted with the stench of dank mildewy carpet. I'm Home now, but my clothes still reek of it. The salad bar was an embarrassment, with wet soggy meats that had turned brown and limp veggies. The meats were way too salty and overcooked. We waited 20 minutes for filet and it came out practically raw. The lambchops were the only thing worth eating. The service was adequate but the overall experience was a zero. and we paid $400.
