This restaurant is our "go to" place for special occasions... Today, unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the service. At the end of our meal my husband told manager he would like to have lamb chops but they never came. We have also ordered birthday cake for my husband. After 30 minutes of waiting and asking for it multiple times, our cake was never delivered... So we left without eating birthday dessert... By the way, I have mentioned it is my husband's birthday during OpenTable reservation. This is an unacceptable service... I hope, management of the restaurant will take corrective actions in order to ensure the appropriate level of customer service in this elegant restaurant. read more

I attended a graduation party with about 50+ people in attendance. The service was A+ as well as the food. The meat was hot and juicy: delicious. Our server, Sheena, sent us home with a dessert that was not mention in the choices. We saw another lady having this particular dessert, which is our fav, and ask why she got one and we didn't. We haven't been to Fogo de Chao in many years and the only location we ever went to has been the Addison location. When you look back at the Original riginal North American location of Fogo de Chao that opened in Addison TX back in 1997, and see what they have become today it's incredibly depressing. The quality of The experience has absolutely collapsed. When I say the experience, let's start with the quality of the staff. Today you've got the floor flooded with low end employees who don't know what they're doing which is 100% the fault of management. And then maybe a higher level problem not necessarily indicative of this location's management is the food. The quality of the food has also collapsed and that also transitions into the salad bar being equally as low tier. Okay so how do you fix this problem? Fire 50% of the staff bumping into each other wandering the floor and replace those folks with a much higher end quality of employee, which probably means somebody making $35/hour plus tips. This is something they absolutely have to bite the bullet on Even if it means operating with less staff. It's no surprise that your main server will come around and ask, " oh do you need more tea or bread', only to disappear for 20 minutes. A higher echelon of employee would not do that. Elevating the quality of the staff will also result in their ability to communicate at a higher level. Some of us at the table opted for the $44 option, but the way the server communicated it there were so many rules and restrictions that we all just simply opted for the regular price option. They just shook their head and said what a scam. Why offer the $44 option If they Don't know how to communicate it clearly without making it sound like we're getting a parking ticket. I would recommend that Fogo hire secret diners to rate everything that I'm mentioning and you will see how things have collapsed. read more

So I've been to thjs Fogo many times but never had an experience like this. I feel like we got completely mislead by the servers & wait staff. We were approached multiple times to "try" or "sample" small appetizers making it seem like the small "infuser" drinks were free. Same thing with the shrimp. But at the end had all these additional charges and ran our bill up. And then to end it we were incentivized heavily for the entire table to leave a review so we could get 1 free desert, were basically pressured the entire time on this. Service is amazing here as they are very quick and super nice!! The salad bar is just more than salad! Try the smoked salmon, the roasted garlic, the imported cured ham that is cut in front of you, watermelon, pickled and roasted veggies, and butter lettuce and salads! They all go super well with the meats that come served to your table in long sticks and cut in front of you! Medium rare is prob the perfect cooked level for the beef meats! I really enjoyed the 3 C shaped meat that I cannot remember the name of even though the server told me like 10 times! Unlike other Brazilian steak houses, this place wasn't overly salty which was perfect for me. I felt like other places I was drinking more water than eating meat. Here it was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked! Theres this one dish that is like fried cheese with hot honey and it's so amazing make sure to grab a piece! It is beautifully decorated, extremely elegant, and surprisingly large and spacious! The hostesses greet you with a warm, heart-filled smile, and everything continues to get better! The restaurant is set up with tables surrounding the appetizer bar, and the servers pass out the wonderful meats. Food: 5/5 For starters, and middlers, and enders, you have access to the all-you can eat appetizer station. The bar ranges from salads, to soup of the day, to fancy bacons and cheeses :) The wonderful servers bring out cheese bread for the table, as well as family style sides such as mashed potatoes and plantains. Service was lacking, waited long periods of time, with clean plates, for the meats to come to our table; while the table next to us had meats over meats. We made a reservation a month in advance for Father's Day, and ended up seated at the bar, which was also a waiting ground for all the people with no reservations, at times it was so packed that we had people standing right next to our table, it was very uncomfortable. The meats that we did get were not up to temperature or medium rare as we were always the last table to be served, maybe due to the amount of standing people surrounding us or the fact that we where in the bar area. Sides were brought to the table periodically. Our server also was sweeping the floor in between trips, and that made me uncomfortable because I couldn't see if he sanitized his hands before bringing drinks/sides and refilling out water. Although it's great that employers pick up where other left, I feel a server should have to do cleaning duties while serving tables. Overall, for the price, we would have had a better meal and definitely better service at one of the other two nearby steakhouses. We came to Fogo de Chao Legacy West at the request of our 10 year old steak lover for his graduation lunch. Chase was our server. It did not disappoint!! We loved getting to try all the different steak cuts - juicy & fire-grilled to perfection The lamb, garlic steak & filet were our faves. The market table has a wide selection of fresh fruits (papaya, star fruit, etc) & variety of salad options. The service/staff were quick, very informative, professional and so so nice. I went on a Saturday and got the restaurant week menu. It included the whole salad bar, most of the meats and a dessert for each person who got it. When I went there was this one guy who was handing out some of the meats and he was very cheerful and friendly. I really liked the way he interacted with us, really great customer service. The meats were good and the salad bar was really fresh, we got there when they were setting things out so we got a taste of the just put out stuff. I gave it 4 stars because there was some confusion and what was and wasn't included in our restaurant week deal and we had to wait a little on certain meat requests because of it.
