I was so disappointed by this establishment on my birthday. Let me say first that I usually go to Texas De Brazil because they are outstanding. To compare, TDB offers bisque and some type of fish at their salads bar. Nothing close to that here. We had an earlier dinner reservation and their wasn't much variety on offer at first. The first piece set the tone for the night. It was tough and slightly under seasoned. Quite frankly, it was the worse Brazilian steakhouses experience I've ever had. The beef ribs are by far my favorite and even that was not very good. It was tough, dry, and absolutely no fat for added flavor. The ribeye was probably the best. We have frequented all the popular Brazilian steakhouses in the DFW area, and our experience at Fogo yesterday was the absolute worst that we have had. We were celebrating my Wife starting a new job, and our reservation was for 5:30. The ambiance where we were seated was fantastic, and it was quiet which we appreciated. This was the only positive about our experience. The food was SALTY, more than we have ever experienced. The bottom sirloin had a funky smell, that made us not want to eat it. Everything coming out was rare or medium rare, and we only like eating meat cooked to medium/medium well. The worst part was that over an hour in to our experience (when we would usually be leaving since we had plans after dinner), I had to complain because we only had ONE round of Picanha. This is the main reason we come to eat Brazilian steak. The other meats were sparingly coming to us, but they werent cooked the way we wanted. We literally were just sitting there waiting for steak for 30+ minutes, and complained multiple times to multiple staff members. Very bizarre. When I complained to the Captain they eventually brought us a filet which was not flavorful and over cooked. We have been to Fogo so many times, so we are well aware that they are able to cook to medium/medium well without drying out the steak. We also had to remind our server several times to bring our drinks and even straws. Just overall a bad experience, and with so many other options why would we continue supporting this restaurant?! read more

Have been to almost every one of their locations but I prefer the charcoal cooking to the gas that we experienced at this location. Wish this was advertised when booking! Service was slow because they were super busy as expected but we did not get the sides until halfway through service. Drinks took too long to arrive, and our original server kind of disappeared and we were handed off to someone else but also had to order drinks and bread from the manager. A little strange. Didn't ruin the whole experience but expected better. The best part of the night was the Old Fashioned from Leo on the drink cart. Went to Fogo last night at Legacy, we have been quite a few times before and it's been good, but last night the service was horrible, the food wasn't good and painfully obvious they are pushing the cheap meats like sausage and chicken which came around 3-4 times as often as steak and had to finally ask for good steak to be sent around. Also sides were poor and we had to ask for those as well and all that was brought to the table was potatoes and mushrooms. Definitely would not recommend this to anyone. read more

I went for Father's Day last year and enjoyed my experience. The restaurant looked upscale and everything was clean and well organized. The food was good but I'm pretty sure they were missing advertised cuts of meat. The selection felt limited. The service was adequate but nothing special. The. selection of meats, was very impressive, " Lamb" was amazing, Ribeye was cooked to perfection delicious. They were all great, but the Lamb was very unexpected and was my favorite. I was not looking forward to this meal, it was something I had to do for my son's birthday, and I am glad he picked this location. I reserved a table here on Valentine's Day and was quite disappointed. They added so many tables in one section and it was so hard to walk around. We got the table near the window and got blocked from getting meat from the servers. In the end we had to eat mostly from the salad bar to get full. The meat we got in two occasions were still too rare to eat. What a waste of money. The manager needs to organize the place better. read more

We ate here on my niece's 2nd birthday 5/5 and the service was terrible. We arrived at 645 pm and our dinner did not end not until 915 pm! The first round of meat were good but after that they took a very long time to serve any other meat that we requested. After every 15 minute wait they will come back and ask if we already received our meat and still nothing. They already gave us our dessert when we got the meat we requested. The only fast thing was them getting our bill. We made our complaint known and when the ?manager came, he listened and said he will come back. He served several tables first and it was already 20 minutes and still nothing. To top it off, they offered to serve the cake we brought which was nice but they threw away the box of the cake. We left very unhappy and honestly they do not care. We've eaten here multiple times before. No consistency with service at all. This is the 3rd time we tried to give them a chance as we wanted our families from abroad to experience Brazilian food. Sadly, I definitely recommend trying other places. read more

I do not recommend this restaurant. There is a much better Brazilian-style restaurant near the Stonebriar mall (begins with an "E"). The meat was not flavorful. The bacon on the bacon-wrapped chicken and beef was undercooked. The service was average. If I was offered a gift card to this place, I would not use it. And a word of caution: you are not advised if there is a no-cost water option; only sparkling or spring, the latter being almost $8 a bottle. My boyfriend and I came to enjoy our romantic Valentine's Day dinner at Fogo de Chao, but the restaurant seemed to do everything in their power to make the evening unpleasant. From the dirty martini I ordered at the bar tasting sweet, to them seating us 20 minutes after our reservation started, the night started off a little slow. We were excited though when we did get seated at a lovely little table for two, only to have a manager walk over 2 minutes later to tell us that they had put us at the "wrong table" and that we would need to collect our coats and bags and move to a different table! The table they moved us to was literally in the entrance way to the restaurant! So we sat in basically the doorway of the restaurant while the 35 people (it was a holiday) stared at us as we ate every bite of our food while they waited for their table. It was not the romantic evening that we had anticipated at all! What awful service. Never been treated so poorly in my life at a restaurant. Too many amazing restaurants in DFW to go back to a place that disrespects their customers that way. Do better. read more

Don't waste your time or money coming here. We came Valentines Day. We sat in the enclosed patio area. The meat cutters came in very seldom. It went almost 20 min after getting one piece of meat to get the second. I asked for the beef ribs from 6 different people and after asking the 7the person it was brought out. That was after being at the restaurant for over a hr. We requested are meats to be medium well done. Not once was our request met. The meat was medium rare. What a huge disappointment. Perhaps they only respond to public reviews to create the illusion of effort, but they didn't take any action. Paying over $450 for overcooked cheap cuts and poorly prepared fried bananas felt disappointing. Additionally, four out of six of my friends fell ill that night. read more

If you like meat of any kind, this place is your nirvana! My friend and I came here one night based on a last minute choice. I was wearing gym shorts and didn't realize how good a decision that was since I was about to consume food galore. Elastic waistband works well in an all you can eat restaurant. As with every trip I've ever made to a Brazilian Steakhouse, I didn't take my own advice. My advice to everyone is typically, "don't waste valuable stomach room on the salad bar, wait for the meat". Well, I failed again. Problem is, they have an EXCELLENT salad bar. I grabbed my plate with the initial intention of a few strands of lettuce and perhaps carrots for color, but low-and-behold, by the time I arrived to my seat I had a whole farm on my plate. Then the meat started coming. So for those that don't know how this works; you are giving a round tag at your table that is green on one side and red on the other. Its as simple as, green means keep offering meat, red means don't bother me while I'm eating. The gentlemen come to your table with large cuts of meat of different varieties offering you your choice of portion. Imagine someone coming to your table every couple minutes with a different perfectly cut piece of deliciousness. My tag was green most of my meal and was subject to bacon wrapped filet along with other cuts of meat that I could never cook as well as they do. The food here is so well prepared it can quickly have you with a plate stacked with a delicious variety of perfectly cooked meat. The minute you think you want to turn your tag over to red, out comes a gentlemen with a smoking piece of steak that you just can't resist. I don't think I could ever have a bad experience here unless someone smacked me across the face and took my plate away, so there's no way I could ever give this place anything but 5 stars. The place is spotless, the servers are nice and everyone here has a great attitude. Unless you are vegetarian or a cow, this place is like Disneyland for foodies. Bravo! read more
