We took our friend for a birthday dinner! Came in 30 minutes earlier than our reservation but it was 515pm so we got seated immediately. Out friend recommended to "best of Brazil" off menu to get a feel for the charred meats. Right off ordered drinks then hit the market salad bar which was nice. Lots of variety so you'll have to make a couple of passes here. First to taste, second to get more of your favorites. The meats kept flying to the table and we sampled a lot. Sausage, bacon wrapped chicken, beef rib, lamb, more beef. I felt the meats were a bit overdone and tough but I did choose a discount plate... Service was outstanding. The creme brulee, shallow dish but perfect to get a bite of that caramelized crunch with every bit of fruit. We were so full we couldn't finish that. The grilled cheese with honey and the gluten free cheesy bread bites were a standout. I'd go back again but would focus on a better cut of meat or try a seafood tower. Fun to try but I'd definitely be more selective and opt to pay a little more for a single cut of good steak! Go there. Get some. Life is too short for boring food. read more

I was born and raised in Brazil and it breaks my heart to see how this franchise does not represent my culture well. We came for Mother's Day weekend and left very underwhelmed with our experience. We ordered a "caipirinha" and it was made way too sweet to the point that we had to call a manager twice just to say that we wanted to drink something else. Once we were finally ready to eat, it took a really long time for meats to show up. The sides that we ordered for the table also took 10+ minutes to show up. At one point when they were cutting, a small piece of meat landed on my white shirt and left a stain. The restaurant didn't seem too busy at first and the only redeeming thing that kept this from being a 1 star was the server that took over our table at the end was extremely kind. If I am paying $200+ for a restaurant I expect the food and service to be immaculate, but unfortunately, this restaurant fell way short of that. read more

I absolutely love this location. It's newer than the original in Addison, and the service is top-notch. We went for my brother's birthday on April 26, and our server (I believe his name was David maybe, not sure) was excellent- calm, attentive, and on top of everything. Even after closing time, he never rushed us, and we didn't even realize it was past 9 PM. He was also very patient when it came to bringing out dessert for my brother's birthday. The lighting, ambiance, and overall decor are beautiful, and the service is both fast and incredibly attentive. It's that attention to detail that really makes the experience stand out. My favorite cut is their house specialty picanha, it's amazing. The fried bananas, mashed potatoes, and salad bar are all phenomenal as well. read more

Hello went for a birthday dinner and was not What i expected for our visit. Steaks took to long to come out had a special request but never got it and they where about to serve it i told them its okay because we got full on out side dishes, and we only got served with protein 3 times the whole time we were there and honestly the restaurant was not busy for them to run out on beef ,steaks etc because our first visit we had different ones and it was a busy night. As well as i know gratuity was put in out checks and i know for sure it is always put on larger parties or special occasions because I worknin the food industry as well And for the fact that i had to tell our server that the food bar is empty that it needed to be restocked . Should really been noticed by management working there to provide the best guest experience as well as pushing the steaks to tables read more

I've been to enough Brazilian steakhouses to know what they are about. Some of the cuts of meat are great (pork belly and picanha) others marginal (bottom sirloin). The market table is good, but definitely some shortcuts (cheap grocery store grade cheese). Service was ok, but our server left mid-meal and handed us off to someone else. My biggest complaint is value. If you're not a high school linebacker looking to gorge on meat, it's not worth it. Plus they charged $8 for a simple lemonade (not hand squeezed) for my teen. I have been dropping by the bar here more often again. Not much has changed about service, food quality and atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and attentive when its not busy. When its busy, however, I still get frustrated: at times I waited 15 minutes just to have someone take my drink order. And sometimes it takes just as long to close out my tab. I don't fault the staff for this, they are all hard working, good people. The delays only happen when it gets busy.. and it gets busy more often than most churrascaria bar areas. read more

Can't believe this location is next to corporate office... just going down hill. You see cheap cuts of meat 15 times and wait for advertised ones and see them maybe once. Never seen lamb chops, never seen New York strip and seen ribeye 2 times. Plenty of bottom sirloin, bacon wrapped chicken, sausage... yes, you can request, takes forever. We left waiting for lamb chops... this is intentional to reduce their food cost. Said strip is only on certain months... should put that on your website. Sides never came out, had to ask in middle of meal and they still took forever. Picana - I continued to get the last small piece where they give you the rest of the over cooked meat. They were not salting meat as it comes out.... Just poorly ran. Market fresh bar is awesome still. Parm pork was great. Used to be a favorite, orlando location where we are from is A rated compared to this location that I have been to 10 times in 3 years.... Always poor. read more

We ordered the Brazilian empanadas, queijo Assado (which is Brazilian cheese bite drizzle some honey on it mmm mmm good!) and steak board medium well with chimichurri sauce. Can I just say this steak was seasoned perfectly and so tender. I'm a girl who likes bourbon so I saw they had a twist on their old fashioned with a caramelized pineapple LET'S JUST SAY I BECAME A FAN OF THOSE The service was amazing our waiter attentive and answered our questions if we had any. Came here for a business dinner with 17 people, so we got our own space in a room. Sheena, Designia, and Nicholas took care of us and were all so sweet and attentive. The meats that came were juicy at medium rare and flavorful. I especially liked pairing them with their chimichurri sauce. The salad bar, cheese balls and desserts were great as well. It's a lot of food so come hungry and try to try everything - ask for smaller cuts if possible. Drinks were tasty. I would recommend this location. Also make sure you get the thicker cut picanha with the flaky salt on it and the filet. Thinking about them makes my mouth water! read more

Always a five star experience. The guys bringing the meats to the tables, Roberto and Marco are the best! I think they are called Churrascos. They work hard. They are efficient and friendly. The service really add to the experience. The meat is always good. We prefer medium rare and they always deliver the correct temperature. Our favorite is the Picanha and the fillet mignon. This is a nice restaurant. You usually go here for the unlimited meats and the buffet style dining, so you need to want that to dine here. This particular restaurant sits in Legacy West which is an amazing area. I believe for lunch I spent about $120 for my wife and I to have access to the market and unlimited meats. The service was quick and we had lots of people visiting our table with fresh cuts of filet mignon, pork chicken, etc.... However, all of the meat was a little lack-luster. The flank steak was my favorite, but most meats lacked salt/flavor, and was tough and chewy. I give it three stars because it's an elevated restaurant and a fun Brazilian steakhouse experience, but the actual meat and sides were just okay for the price. read more

We came to Fogo de Chão to celebrate my sister's bachelorette party and made a reservation. However, this was the most disappointing dining experience our group has ever had. From the start, service was inattentive and disorganized. Drinks were delivered to the wrong guests and met with attitude when we pointed it out. Water took 30 minutes to arrive despite multiple requests. The plates were dirty and when we requested new plates, they were not given to us. We had to get our own at the market table. Our table was partially served throughout the entire meal as sides, plates, and attention were consistently given only to the guests nearest to the servers. Two members of our party specifically ordered the Picanha meal. We asked for it repeatedly, watched servers walk past us, and waited over an hour before it arrived. THEN when it finally came, it was the last scraps from a skewer. Bacon we requested was promised and then forgotten until we finally got the waiters attention after 30 mins. Our friend ordered a Smoky Old Fashioned. When they ran out of Woodford Reserve, a replacement was made and it was not good so the staff offered to comp a dessert. That comp never appeared on the check. We paid for the drink, the dessert, and additional drinks that required reminders to receive. At the end of the meal, we had to physically get up and track down two different staff members to request boxes for our desserts, which were then delivered *without* the boxes anyway. Getting the bill required flagging down two more people. We spent two and a half hours there, the majority of it waiting, and left still hungry. I would strongly caution anyone celebrating a special occasion to think twice before booking this location. read more

Reaffirming this review after another visit. The staff at this location need to go visit the addison or Dallas location and learn how they operate. It takes forever for meats to come around. And I went for lunch this time, which wasn't so busy. I had to get up from my table to flag someone for help. Asked for refills on sides multiple times. Not sure what's going on here but my previous review led to someone from Fogo reaching out for details and I emailed them at their request, only to be ignored. I'm not going back to this location again. Food and the location itself is great so no complaints in terms of fogo consistency of the meats. But that should be a given. It's the service (which is how you get the yummy food in the first place) that lacks here and that's been a consistent, unsatisfactory experience. Hey Fogo don't bother responding to this, you never responded back after I emailed at your request so it's pointless and appears others on here experienced the same. Ignoring your customers during dining and after you requested shows us how much you care. Doesn't matter. It's Fogo so the bbq is the bbq. Good thing Dallas is full of other awesome Brazilian churrascaria. Best one is right across DNT at the other Legacy imo. read more

You could honestly make a whole meal out of just the salad bar, but of course, the real star is the endless rotation of meats. Every cut I tried was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. We went here for our 29th anniversary because the waitress at our normal restaurant is out on maternity leave. This was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed most of the food we ate (tried a few items we have never had and never will have again). The meats were delicious, not a fan of the chicken or bacon wrapped anything. They have a nice salad bar area, I don't recommend eating too much from here because it will take up valuable stomach space for the good stuff. Service was quick and easy. Whenever we were ready for more food we turned a card over to let the servers know. Restaurant is laid out well and is a great spot to see and be seen if you like watching people. Well since we had such a great time for our birthdays last year we went for a second round last night and they did not disappoint. I will be 75 next week and I use a walker and these gentlemen could not have been more helpful and cheerful about it. The food as always was fabulous and along with our special birthday discounts, which you have to sign up for on their website well ahead of time. The also gave us complementary desserts. Their Crème brûlée was absolutely creamy and delicious topped with berries and a candle on the side. There was also a molten chocolate cake which look yummy as well, but I was already cheating with the sugar in the Crème brûlée I didn't need to add gluten to my cheat. Invited to a holiday party at Fogo de Chao sounded like a dream--unlimited food and a generous cocktail menu in a restaurant that truly lives up to its reputation for elegance. Unfortunately, the experience turned into a nightmare. The evening started with a warm welcome, from a friendly staff, who walked us to our party room. As I walked past the salad bar area, I stepped onto a tile flooring and fell hard on my back and injured my knee. Management quickly helped me up, took my information, offered basic remedies and promised someone would follow up about my injuries the next day. I'm a healthy able bodied person and this shouldn't have happened to me. To make matters worse, several women in our group said they almost slipped too and avoided the salad bar out of fear of falling themselves. We determined that the tile is slippery and dangerous depending of the texture of the sole of your shoes. I was in enough pain that I didn't get up for the next 3 hours. The rest of the night was chaotic and uncomfortable. Our tables were so close together that one server would grab the back of my chair, shove me into the table, so she could get past us. I don't think she knew I was injured. Out of frustration, I asked management to please shift our tables away from that wait station. Servers repeatedly brought the same meats -- like parmesan chicken, sausage links, skinny lamb chops and skirt steak, while premium cuts like mignon and prime rib never appeared until the very end of the night. At one point, our host became visibly upset, announcing that the premium meats had yet to be offered while they were taking desert orders. Eventually, I was able to taste the mignon, nothing spectacular to a guest who was no longer interested. But when desserts were served alongside the meats, creating an unpleasant mix of smells, that was not a good moment. Fogo de Chao was not living up to its reputation on so many levels! Perhaps a smaller, more intimate visit might be better, but for me, this experience was awful. Packed up my dessert -- the only food they will let you take home. The next day I had visible, large, painful bruises on my arm, elbow, hip, and knee. No follow-up call, text, email or smoke signal from Fogo de Chao about my fall. It makes me really angry that the only reason they will contact me is because of this negative review. read more

We usually get excellent service at Fogo de Chao. We went the day before Father's Day, and the Plano location was pretty disorganized. At the salad bar, an employee was hitting the ice under the food with a pick, splattering it all over the salads. It was kind of gross, to be honest. My husband ordered wine, and we had to remind the waitress twice. Finally, a manager who was passing by asked if everything was okay and brought us the wine himself. The meat was ok, but we felt like we were being rushed. We ended up ordering dessert, and the waitress brought the check along with it. Really?! We didn't have a special or relaxing time at all. I'm not giving less stars because the people who work there are generally friendly. I don't know what was going on that Saturday. read more

We've been to Fogo de Chão Plano several times hoping for a good experience because we love the concept. This visit fell short again. The hostess was friendly. We had a reservation and arrived early. She said the wait would be about 30 minutes, so we stepped out. We received a "table ready" text less than five minutes later, which made the timing feel inconsistent. Once seated, we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to take orders. We started with the Market Table while waiting. Drinks from the bar took longer than expected. Service throughout the night was polite but slow. Our main issue was the meat service. Gauchos circulated, but we often needed the lead server in the area to get specific cuts. Temperatures were not consistent. Cuts looked well-prepared on the outside but were either overcooked or rare (blue) when we always asked for medium. The lamb and chicken were good. The picanha and other beef cuts were not good at all. One of us ordered the sea bass. Flavor was good, but the fish was dry. Overall, service was friendly but overall experience wasn't good or at least not worth the price. The restaurant was very busy... always seems to make things worse. read more
